I've been to the restaurant several times now and the food has been fantastic every time, and the staff is highly competent, friendly and quick-witted. The location is certainly not the newest, but the fine food and the crew easily make up for that...

I ordered a cordon bleu and what came? First of all, from a visual point of view, there was a beautifully colored presentation with the vegetables, then I just enjoyed THE Cordonbleu, thanks to the team, including Sascha, who served me.

Restaurant near Bauma train station with traditional Swiss cuisine and ambience. It has something for everyone - a visit is highly recommended. It wasn't the last time I was there.

Once again we were able to spend a lovely evening in the Bahnhof Restaurant. Starting with the greeting from the kitchen, decorated with a daisy that beamed at me. Afterwards I enjoyed a cream of asparagus soup, which left a great aroma on my tongue. Accompanied by the delicious “thank you rolls”, which are always a great pleasure for me. - This was followed by the main course, veal steak, which was superbly fried, juicy, tender and pink, covered with a fine morel cream sauce, served with noodles cooked all dente, accompanied by a colorful vegetable bouquet, imaginatively staged, consisting of asparagus, carrots, creamed spinach, kohlrabi, fennel, Zuccheti and broccoli, each vegetable impressed with its very delicate taste. Last but not least, a big thank you to the knowledgeable, friendly service staff. I look forward to the next time.

We booked our Christmas dinner there at very short notice and were very surprised by the food, the hospitality and the flexibility (additional surprise guests, gluten-free menus). Train station restaurants sometimes don't have a particularly good reputation, but that definitely doesn't apply here. It was great and the host/chef and service were always confident.

Great restaurant with a great boss, who helped me quickly and easily when I forgot my phone on the bus

The food was excellent, even if we only ordered a delicious large pumpkin soup and a garnished sausage salad for dinner. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough for the service employees. The cutlery and butter peels were vigorously taken away from us, as were the fine sausage rolls and nuts that were warmly offered and served to us by Monika Inauen. The wine was only brought to us after dinner. We have never been served so coldly, arrogantly and carelessly in a restaurant!

We had saddle of venison. Everything was very good. I had cordon bleu, it was very good. A bit noisy due to the full restaurant, boss was on point, service was great. Rolls with thank you etc. very nicely decorated. All in all, very well eaten.

On June 29, 2022, my wife and I wanted to have a little dinner at the KSW in Bauma on the way home after a visit to the hospital. We chose the Bahnhof restaurant after they stopped serving us food at 8:55 p.m. at another well-known restaurant in Bauma. Because the kitchen closes at 9 p.m. Unwelcome best describes how we felt. - In the 'Bahnhof' it wasn't a problem that it was already 9:05 p.m. and the kitchen was probably already shutting down. We were warmly welcomed, served with great enthusiasm and had a delicious dinner in the atmospheric garden restaurant. Thank you for the warm hospitality. We have noted this address and will definitely eat at your place again.

Good food, served quickly and easily. Price performance for 1l of still water is also too high at 11.50 Chf. We had reserved for 4 people and a stroller in the garden. Unfortunately we had to provide the parasols ourselves, which unfortunately became too complicated. At 35 degrees you would expect a reserved spot in the shade. We were forced to change tables. In which there was no shadow either.

Pre-ordered Chateaubriand today. Presentation, excellent, the meat cooked to our liking, tender, melts in the mouth, accompanied by the finest Bernaise sauce. Plus 2 x 6 types of vegetables and the fries were crispy - it was just pure enjoyment. First a Nüsslisalt with egg, Italian dressing, (not quite our taste) next time we'll try the French dressing. The greeting from the kitchen, broccoli with cauliflower served as a terrine on asparagus, excellent. Thanks for the great service. We would be happy to come back.

Always worth a visit: Nice service, very good food, impeccable price-performance ratio, relaxed atmosphere.

We were hungry and had only 50 minutes to eat before we had to catch a train. We didn't expect to get a full meal in just under 15 minutes. And it was pretty good, too. Between ordering and receiving the menu, we also got some good bread and butter and a greeting from the kitchen. In the end, we made it onto the train with no problem and were glad we took the chance.

We were on the way back and very hungry so we skipped a train to eat, which was definitely worth it! The waitress has to wear Hermes shoes, but the order was taken quickly and the drinks arrived straight away. Small rolls on a wooden board beautifully arranged with thank you bread letters (not edible). That certain something that I appreciate! There was a greeting from the kitchen with the bread and shortly afterwards the food was there. Everything seemed unhurried and everyone was very friendly. The bill also arrived promptly, so we could take the train well fed. The game plate was large and tasted great. Thanks for the great hospitality!

The food was very good. The portions were generous and it tasted great. Unfortunately the service was less good. Although hardworking and nice. But there were always long waiting times between courses. Since we sat a little apart in the hall, we were hardly noticed. We sat in front of the empty plates of the main course for 40 minutes until they were cleared away. We waited a similarly long time for the dessert menu, or rather the dessert itself. Unfortunately, this creates a bad image for the restaurant. The food itself would be worth visiting again at any time.
