A train station. Because of the many tourists there is often something going on. But very quiet outside of rush hour. Self-service restaurant with little charm. If you don't have to, you shouldn't.

Beautiful mountain restaurant with very friendly and attentive service. This place is perfect for an overnight stay in the middle of the Alpstein so you can get out and about early in the morning before all the day's tourism. The prices are very fair and the Rösti is simply world class, worth walking up the mountain just for. We'd love to come back. Bring change for the showers ;)

Küchenrain 5Very good food, generous portions. Service very friendly and attentive. We were guests of the restaurant, our colleagues stayed here and come back again and again (speaks for itself). We look forward to the next visit.
