Unfortunately, the staff was replaced after the Corona wave and there are certainly no more ambitious employees. After tonight's experience, I will no longer consider the buffet in the future and will not go there again for business or pleasure.

I was so happy to finally have time to go to the Olten train station buffet again. You never really have a lot of time, but it would have been enough for a small lunch, especially since an express transfer menu is even mentioned on the menu. But if no one comes and takes the order, the quickest menu is of no use. The waitress greeted me when I came in and placed the menu on the table. Then she stopped appearing. The restaurant wasn't full yet. After 10-15 minutes I decided to get a salad from Migrolino again. A pity.

The train station buffet is well located. With meeting rooms available for rent in Olten, it is ideal for meetings with people from all over Switzerland due to its central location. The food is good, as is the service. The meeting rooms. are appropriately furnished.

Really nice and modern station buffet. The staff is very friendly and the cappuccino was tasty.

Lunch in a hall for 22 people...salad or soup no bread...pumpkin risotto lukewarm and bland..everyone had to pay 20 francs for the hall fee..final price beyond that...never again..

Restaurant inside the Olten train station. Magnificent service and a delicious asparagus salad prepared masterfully. Very good staff attention.

A few months ago I had lunch at the Olten train station buffet. The selection is sufficient and ideal for eating something pleasant within an hour. I had the bratwurst with hash browns and would recommend it too.

I had some time and treated myself to a Gordonbleu. I was very surprised at how delicious it was. The food came to the table hot, the plate was warmed and still crispy. The staff was very friendly.

Formerly the most famous train station buffet in Switzerland... apart from a few memorials, the atmosphere is very sterile and modern. But airy and bright. Large area for non-eaters.

After a long hike, our group of 10 people relaxed with a final drink in the buffet. We also wanted to recognize that the SAC was founded here 160 years ago. We were pleased with the quick, friendly and pleasant service from Mohammed. We were very impressed by his notepad-free service.

The two gentlemen who served me today were very quick, attentive and friendly - and in a train station restaurant! One person apologized that I had to wait a moment to pay and therefore didn't want to accept a tip. Therefore my thanks to the service. The restaurant management can be proud of these two employees!

Not exactly friendly, shortly before 10 a.m. we two women around 70 wanted a Prosecco. We haven't seen each other for a long time, but the waitress's daughter reacted so strangely. We would have stayed longer and ordered something else. At first she didn't want to bring it to us.

Then we go to the toilet: it stinks to high heaven, the acrid smell of urine is in the air. Urinal without flushing - the biggest step backwards in the history of toilets and toilets in the world. It's a shame you can't give minus stars here. URIMAT would have deserved several here - my conclusion: Urimat - in the truest sense of the word a "Seich"

After a long time, we went to the legendary train station buffet again. And had a nice evening. Service was absolutely top and the food was delicious. I was also pleased that there was a local beer on offer.

The employee Mohamed creates a very cool atmosphere in the room and makes the customer laugh and that is very important. I went there to study for the 2nd time and he gave me a warm welcome. BBO is very suitable for learning. Highly recommended :) I'd love to be there again.

Bad food (there were 11 of us and we had, among other things, over-fried and over-salted fries, a dry and bland chicken with a bland couscous salad without dressing, a dry and partially burnt cordon bleu and a curry that tasted like a ready-made package). Poor service (orders were forgotten and mixed up) and when you order Hanenwasser you get a 1dl glass.. 1dl.. Unbelievable such cheek.. basically had no expectations but I have rarely had such a bad experience. A disappointment even for a train station buffet. Absolutely no recommendation!!

Very original atmosphere, lots of great “souvenirs” from the old railway days in Olten with friendly staff in the station buffet. Lovingly designed, ideal meeting point at the railway junction.

Much better than last year, better and smaller Menu and gentle personnel. Sadly it was almost empty after being closed for 7 months.

Always delicious food. The chef can cook! And the service is really quick and they also know what tastes really good. Just ask Kristian if you can't make a decision.

Was a guest here for the first time this week. I am positively surprised, especially because of the pleasant and beautiful furnishings. Beautiful and cozy furniture including comfortable seating. Really really inviting and well done. Bravo.

We use the train station buffet in Olten again and again; it is an ideal restaurant as a meeting point for our participants from different regions of Switzerland to have lunch together. Arrival and departure are quick by train! The food is good and the service is very courteous and friendly. ( Highly recommended.)

The spaetzle festival is delicious. Friendly and fast service. The fall decoration is colorful and highlights this place. The numerous photos adorning the walls remind us of or introduce us to the railways of another time.

Closed every day! An absolute disgrace. And all of this at a central junction in our transport network. What are those responsible at SBB doing? As always - nothing! Let Autogrill rip you off. Why? The sparrows are whistling from the rooftops: the SBB is not led by the CEO, but by the shadow government Tutti & Co. A shame for Switzerland.

Uiiih, I'll happily forego a next visit! Thursday evening, 7:00 p.m.: The restaurant was packed, but we found it excessive that we had to wait almost 25 minutes for someone to serve us. The five of us were barely able to order a drink; the waitress was in an extreme hurry - or just not interested? We waited in vain for the little card for the rest of the evening. After serving the drinks, the waitress simply didn't show up, even though she was there. After 2 hours, we had a small meeting, we again tried to somehow get her attention. After 17 minutes I had to go to the buffet and speak to her. “Oh yeah, which table are you at?” was the laconic answer. Then 6 more minutes of vigorous waving and shouting went by until she deigned to come to our table and shout out the total amount to us, she wasn't even standing at the table yet. Yes, we each paid individually, out of spite. Thanking seems to be a foreign word, as if there were no tips either... Extremely bad for a train station buffet - in this case the guests are often under a bit of time pressure...

At midnight the toilet was closed (even though the restaurant was open). If you don't consume anything (in an empty restaurant at midnight in winter), you will also be asked to leave the restaurant immediately. Never again!
