Bakeries Bieri, Café Zyt in Sumiswald

I visited Bieri Bakery - Patisserie for a coffee and croissants. The staff is friendly but the service wasn't perfect. When I wanted to order a croissant from the service, she said that I had to go and see for myself, it could be that there was no croissant left and I would have to take something else. So I went to look at the bakery counter and decided on a sandwich. I would understand if the counter was far away and I might have to go up stairs, but for me it was just an excuse... The ambience is rather boring and not particularly nice but it's just ok. The sandwich was good.

Was very nice. We ate breakfast. The service was very nice and attentive. The rolls were very tasty and the croissants were super good.

Despite Gotthelf-Märit with many visitors in Sumiswald, and the Cafe Zyt in the Bieri bakery was practically 100% occupied, the service was guaranteed. You have to give the staff a shout out!! Despite the constant stress, they kept an overview. I've had lunch there before when I was in Sumiswald. Was always very satisfied. Although not such a large selection, the menus offered were of very good quality. You can also get a dessert of your choice from the bakery with your coffee or you can take the dessert menu. I can highly recommend the cozy Cafe Zyt.

A village bakery, of which there are unfortunately not many left. Very good baked goods. The “Kafi” serves delicious dishes. Artists can also exhibit their works there. However, the “Kafi” would do with a refresh.
