Brunch good, large selection, costs ok, rather a bit higher if you order several things. Shakshuka unfortunately wasn't that good, it didn't have any pepperoni in it and tasted very bland (not made with love?) The rest was good and recommended ;)

I've always heard and read a lot of good things so I wanted to try it out myself. It was very busy after midday on a Saturday between Easter. We wanted a table outside (we weren't the only ones there, everything was full). We were offered the last free table inside and also shown if we could ask to sit outside. When a table became available, two employees came to us and said that something outside would be free. In general, we were so thrilled that despite the restaurant being full and busy, ALL the employees were so friendly and accommodating. No sign of being hectic or rushed. The brunch (poached egg, French toast, croissant, bacon, pita bread, orange juice, coffee) was fantastic, the location was great to linger. The recommendations and good reviews are absolutely justified, we will definitely come back!

I had brunch. The staff is really incredibly friendly. The food was very good. I had various breads, scrambled eggs and a muesli. The only thing is that the seating is a bit cramped, which is why the ambience suffers slightly. I'd love to come back!

The food is delicious and the restaurant is very cool in a good location in Zurich - whether for brunch or dinner. However, the prices are rather in the higher price segment. But worth a visit!

A perfect place for a Sunday brunch. Absolutely everything on the menu is delicious and the staff is super friendly! Cons: needs to be booked weeks ahead, and if you are a big group it does take a while for the order to be ready.

We are here now and the first thing the waiter did was very rude and tapped on the menu and said look here I’ll be back. Not a good first impression. Food looks good but comes with a cynical taste.

I happened to be at "Bank" when I was looking for a place to stay. When I got there around 4pm it was pretty empty. Nevertheless, you were not allowed to sit down freely as the tables were being set for the evening. I understand that, but an exception could have been made at 4:00 p.m. However, a seat at the bar would have been enough. The staff was very friendly, the soft drink was good, and the hummus with pita bread was fantastic - I would order it again in a heartbeat. Price-wise, I think it's reasonable for Zurich (30 CHF). For me personally it could be a little cheaper, but I'm happy to pay for the quality. The atmosphere was also very pleasant and I would like to visit the restaurant in the evening. Maybe next time.

Location and drinks are great, but the service could really be more attentive. Been there more and more in the last few months and every single time I was seated, waited at the table and at some point had to get up and take the initiative to order myself. This while waiters stood behind the bar and chatted.

The service is a disaster!!! We sat outside this Sunday and our waiter was rude and cheeky... Service from you has never been good and never will be with such staff. Sheep location would be great and the food is good too.

Yesterday we spontaneously went to BANK for a little something to eat and drink. Have to Luckily we got a table for two. The service and ambience is perfect and very attentive. The food was served quickly and tasted really good. Prices are ok, you shouldn't forget that you're here in Switzerland :-D. We will definitely come back when we are in Zurich.

Beautiful industrial-style restaurant right on Helvetiaplatz. Meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans alike will get their money's worth here. There are burgers, pitas and dishes to share. In terms of price, we are at the upper end, as is usual in Zurich. The service is really top!

Nice brunch place in Zurich, but Bank is also a great place to have lunch! The restaurant has a nice, rustic feel, yet remains cosy. The food was good and the service was even better! They are gluten-free friendly. My only wish? I wish they had lactose-free milk for their amazing cappuccinos. Their latte art put a huge smile on my face!

Do you like that little pita sandwich there? This costs a whopping 21 Chf (the fries cost extra). That's half the size of a with&without kebab, without meat, an egg, a little sauce, hummus and eggplant. I've seen a lot of outrageous prices in zh, but this one is the worst so far, even for zh conditions you can only charge a maximum of 14 Chf. Service is at least top.

3rd time the charm~ visited twice and wasn't able to get a seat. Remember to reserve your table in advanced Great selection of food and beverages. Perfect atmosphere with family and friends. Services are amazing. The bakery does offer a selection of bread but wasn't as eye catching as the restaurant itself~ If I ever return to Zurich, I will go again for sure

One of the worst locations in Zurich. I was there several times in various constellations. Unfortunately, every single time the visit was a complete disappointment. The food is actually good and the drinks average/okay. Location itself is cool and the concept was well implemented. But the staff is so unfriendly that you have to feel embarrassed.

Good drinks, delicious food, the place is chic, whether during the day or in the evening (also large outdoor seating during the day). Depending on the situation, it can be a bit loud.

I've never been there but the hospitality doesn't seem good for the following reason: A friend of mine made a reservation for brunch today at 9 a.m. Because I have a longer journey and don't want to get up at 7 a.m. on Saturday, I wanted to show up at 10:30. Now my friend said that they had to clear the table at 10.45. Even if we are not the only guests, I imagine a cozy brunch to be different, especially at this high price of 36 francs per person.

We wanted to go to the concert at the Volkshaus (22 minute start) and got very good tuna tartar very quickly with understanding and friendly service.. we'll definitely be back.. thank you very much

The bank is located directly on Helvetiaplatz and offers seating indoors and outdoors (in summer). Due to the long opening times, the restaurant is suitable for breakfast, brunch/lunch, dinner and also for a coffee in between. We arrived in the afternoon and there was a pleasant atmosphere. Btw. On weekends, it is advisable to make a reservation for brunch in advance as the bank is full. We had orange juice and the cheesecake. The orange juice was good and the cheesecake is one of my favorites in Zurich (highly recommended!). The place is clean and the service is friendly.

Went for brunch late on a Saturday. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to accommodate us after a short wait. The croissant sandwich and banana bread were amazing. The table service was slow and sometimes inattentive, but I acknowledge they were busy and had a few larger groups. Atmosphere is cozy and cool.

I found myself having breakfast here, after discovering that the room where I was sitting was not part of the bakery but of another place. Ok anyway I'll take a pan au chocolate, 5 francs, and a fruit muesli, 10, and an orange juice, 5, pan ah chocolate was ok, muesli was good and the juice was also very good, very big and nice place and very friendly staff

My experience in this place was a mediocore breakfast and bunch of staff running around not really knowing whats going on. Shakshuka felt to me like basically whole tomatoes straght from the can with an egg. I am really not sure what was shakshuka about it. Food arrived before drinks and waitress brought it back to the kitchen stand and let it wait there (we could see it from the table) and get cold until drinks were served... This place has absolutely terrible and unnatentive service and average food at its best.

Yes, Zali, Hoi... every Friday and Saturday for some time now there has been at least one recommendation whether to listen to Fooden/ Bechern/ DJ/st. The professional, courteous and long-standing employees charm all guests as they should. So for the record, a lot of things have been done right there for some time now, hats on and hats off again. It is a very trendy spot, so on weekends, you will have difficulty finding a spot. If you do, you will get a time slot, let's say 09-11. And then everyone arrives at the same time, so the expirence e stressful. The food is good, but expensive. Even a glass of tab water for kids has to be paid with 4€. Maybe it is better on weekdays.

We met here for coffee to chat. The coffee is delicious, the room is spacious, the service is good. The establishment treated us to pastries, which was very pleasant. All liked it

The service was very nice and accommodating. Mistakes can happen and they handled that very well. But the vegan burger was just dry without much flavor and the vegetables were slightly burnt (carrots). The fries were very oily... a shame for the price of CHF 30. The burger is also very small

The ambience and service were really good. The food, however, is rather low level for these prices. I would have expected more for that. The meat and falafel were dry and hard as stone. The rest of the mini portions ordered were okay.

We went to dinner. The food was great but the service was pretty bad. They never asked if you wanted something more to drink and if you did catch a waitress/waiter, your order would be forgotten in 2/3 cases. In addition, it tends to be rather cold, or at least it was drafty at our table.

My partner and I spent a wonderful evening together in the bank. The food was excellent and the service was courteous, helpful and attentive. We will be happy to come back.

We had brunch there on Saturday and luckily we made a reservation. It was relatively empty at the beginning because we did coke early, but later it was completely full. Very nice but too uncomfortable for me with so many people. The food was very tasty, but relatively small portions for the price. I can highly recommend but urgently reserve.

A lovely spot for apero on a sunny day in Zürich. The food is also nice, with lots of options to share (mezze, incl. vegetarian dishes). Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area

Nobody at the entrance, no signs of reservations on the tables. We had to wait at the table for 10 minutes before we were sent away again because many reservations would be arriving soon.

Delicious breakfast menu! The staff is generally nice, but on our last visit (Saturday a week ago) we had to quickly leave our table because guests were already waiting… When we got up, I saw several free tables. Maybe it was also because we had already paid our nice waiter because there was a shift change and so the next waitress knew that we wouldn't order anything from her straight away... We would have just left anyway but being asked to leave soon is rather inappropriate.

Lovely place Great food Good service The only disadvantage is that it gets crowded and noisy... (Not their fault of course) So if you want to enjoy an evening, go early And definitely make reservation!

Great, tasty and fresh food - really kudos to the kitchen :) Disastrous and subterranean service! Even if you have a reservation (which we already had), you will probably be standing at the door for 15 minutes because no one wants to worry about the waiting guests. It wasn't until we went in and stopped at a cellar that we were served. If you are directed to a place, it takes quite a while until the food finally comes. (You can mark the order on the pre-printed charts - i.e. the staff/kitchen receives the order BLACK ON WHITE!) The food then comes in stages - so staggered that we had to wait 10 minutes (without exaggerating - we had stopped the time at some point just for a joke) until the entire table of 6 people had received their food. The drinks came the same way - only half of them were forgotten - the water, which we ordered in advance (and which we had to ask for three times), only arrived when we were ready to order the bill. Never, never again!

Perfect choice for my birthday brunch, servers were very attentive and friendly, the food was delicious and we loved the concept of ordering via the order sheets. Coffee was excellent and the atmosphere around Helvetiaplatz with a view into the attached John Baker Bakery makes you crave for some takeaway treats.

In the morning with a cappuccino and summit in a beautiful atmosphere and great conditions

Post hammam advice (take into account that after 3 hours of steam bath we are not objective). The terrace on this large square is tempting (the choice between 3 terraces on Helvetiaplatz): a little sheltered thanks to the small green terrace but still an eye on this particular square. Cocktail: Mediterranean breeze. Pretty, fresh but too much sugar (the fault of the almond syrup?). I see dishes passing in front of me, it looks nice, good, not complicated. I then order a ceviche and a plate of sweet potato fries. Everything happens quickly, the service is discreet but I think if I look up and ask it happens. (It’s August, a Thursday, it’s rather quiet). I'm waiting to see if I'm offered wine...nothing...I have to exaggerate a little at the end of the cocktail for someone to ask me.... A glass of white, a Sauvignon (particularly melon-flavored, fishing ?) The ceviche is with pieces of melon or maybe mango, I'm hesitant. This means that the seasoning takes over the ingredients. It's pretty, quick but too acidic. The fries... to die for but it's easier to seduce me. I hang out, I drink wine, I'm alone. We tend to take better care of tables of 2 or more....my lonely and strange appearance shouldn't help but overall the service was attentive, I was even allowed a few shy words of French. I scrutinized the menu, the dishes that came out of the (open) kitchen, the space shared with the famous John Baker: I will come back to taste one of the burgers, that's for sure A little fresh air blows, I leave the terrace, curious to come back.

I celebrated my birthday on Saturday, the reservation worked out and I was also allowed to bring my own cake. We were greeted warmly and had a nice table outside. Unfortunately it started to rain, so we had to go inside because the service staff couldn't serve outside, which we understand. Unfortunately, the ambience inside wasn't really that great; it was extremely loud and hot in the restaurant. It took an hour before we could order, my friends had to wait half an hour just for the coffee! We also always had to ask if we wanted to order something, the service was really very bad and you were almost ashamed to order something because you noticed that the staff didn't want to. When we paid the waitress didn't even say thank you or say goodbye, you can just tell the place is busy because of the location but obviously they no longer need the good service there. It's a shame, otherwise it would be a cool restaurant with fine food. In any case, I won't go to the BANK again and I advise everyone not to.

Nice place! The service in particular was phenomenal! The young gentleman who served us during brunch was very attentive and extremely friendly. At this point I have to be honest about Ajla SU's review: I would also be in a bad mood if I had such complicated guests ^^. I heard the whole “story”. The waiter kindly pointed out several times that the burger would only be available after 3 o'clock. And yet they apparently cried to the boss.

The food and drinks are beautifully presented and delicious. The atmosphere outside is very pleasant, but inside it is rather cramped and very loud. Points deducted clearly for the service. Unfortunately the service was very bad. We were a group of 7 people. 3 of them had to wait more than 30 minutes for their drinks (coffee) and we had to ask several times where the drinks were. The service staff was sometimes unsure whether the order had even been taken by the other employee. It took another 30 minutes before we could order the food and in total we waited a good 1 hour and 30 minutes from the time we arrived until the food arrived. We rarely or never received service; we always had to actively ask and reorder. My girlfriend has been here on a weekend before and noticed that the service was very poor even then. Conclusion: Beautiful and cozy restaurant outside, delicious food, but because of the poor service I would not recommend this brunch restaurant.

think before you go! Asked for 2 coffees and 2 glasses of tap water! CHF 17.00! :-)

This afternoon we (2) order two coffees and a glass of water. The waitress brings two coffees, two glasses and a 1 liter reusable bottle of water (i.e. not a bottled product). When we pay, we get a shock: CHF 17, the water costs a full CHF 8. When we asked, the waitress explained that they didn't have tap water, but that they had this mineral water. Ah yes? And why don't you tell us beforehand? The waitress simply apologized, we didn't want to cause a scene, but I've never experienced such a rip-off in Switzerland. You'll probably never see me again, sorry. All the best anyway!

Banana walnut is great. Love it. The whole place was just too loud and super busy. The waitress must be tired from this much of people.

One of my favorite brunch place in Züri. Shame that it took me so long to leave a review. Food, highly recommended price , not cheap but ok for Zürich standard. Service is always awesome!
