A great cozy place to stay. Courteous and friendly staff. Highly recommend the banana bread. What a fine thing!

Cute little restaurant on a side street off Langstrasse. We stopped by on Sunday without a reservation and luckily got a table spontaneously (reservations can be made via Instagram). Super cozy and relaxed atmosphere and the owner was very friendly and accommodating - you immediately feel at home! The selection of fractions is clear - the Egg Benedict Croffle is highly recommended (the cake is also great) - the coffee is good! In short, highly recommended to start the weekend relaxed!

Best Brunch in Zurich by far! Small Menu but everything on point. Definitely try the French toast style banana bread. Bar Butter is one of the very few lighthouses on the Zurich brunch landscape.

Very small restaurant. We were there for brunch. Small map. Nevertheless, respond to personal wishes as much as possible. Very friendly staff. Easily accessible on foot as there are various bus and tram stops nearby. Parking spaces available in the area

Croissants are quite delicious. There is no extra humor in his coffee. It's a shabby environment, but I didn't like the tone of the employees very much. May be preferred for short-term sitting

Wow! The brunch is MEGA. Small card but everything your heart desires. Prepared with a lot of love. Not exactly cheap, but that didn't matter to me at the moment because it was simply delicious. 🧇🩷🥐 nice owners, cool interior and great concept. Fresh and high quality products are used. I will be back soon.

Cosy place for a coffee in Zürich. The location itself looks good. It is worth booking in advance as the location is small. However, the canelé are by far not the best I ever had. They felt like burned and not soft enough. You can't compare those with any from France.

A super friendly little café on a side street off the busy Langstrasse. The weekend brunch menu is small but tasty. The banana bread, the almond croissants, the pain au chocolat, the Turkish eggs and the croffle (croissant baked in a waffle iron) are second to none. The coffee also tastes excellent and the service is very personable, attentive and courteous. Absolute recommendation.

In my humble opinion Bar Butter is yet to receive the attention it deserves. It might be a good idea to drop by now while it's still fairly easy to get a table. It's a perfect place for coffee and a light meal/lunch. All the coffees I had were top class, I especially recommend asking for hens brewed filter. Cakes and pastries are also insanely good, don't miss an opportunity to try home-made apple pie when it's available. I swear it was the best one I had in a long while! For lunch I tried celery soup with walnuts and apples. It was the first time for me and it instantly became one of my favorite ways to consume this vegetable. I'll definitely try making it at home. I really like when I'm surprised by simple dishes that I never thought of making myself but can try to replicate afterwards. It contributes to the casual and comfy atmosphere that I really like. Given the quality I'd say prices are very fair, i.e. it's not cheap but worth it. Soup, sandwich, coffee and cheesecake added up to 30 something CHF.

This daytime flower in the middle of the nightlife area offers the best coffee in town. Everything you order there is fresh and delicious - you will never get something stale or in any way wrong. The quality is extremely consistent, ingredients and supplies are carefully selected. Everything has very personal touch. Love this spot - warmly recommend it!

We came here this morning. The place is excellent very cozy and nice . It has a lovely atmosphere and a very good coffee, we ordered one capuchino and one latte and a delicious cinnamon roll and one croissant . The staff was polite and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

The owner is really friendly and will help you choose across their beverage offering. From coffee to lemon-ginger drinks, everything is prepared with care and great detail. Pastries look great and he even offers some vegan options. The ambiance is relaxed and cozy. A great place to enjoy a drink.

Since I flew from China to Zurich to go to school in Germany, I was carrying big and small bags and found this cafe. Although it is not big, it has a warm environment and the owner is very nice and always smiles. I guess every time I fly to Zurich from now on, I will go to this restaurant.

The coffee shop is very cosy, the barista was kind and knowledgeable. Their coffee mugs and plates are very cute. The cheesecake was nice, the matcha latte had a bit of a weird texture. I ordered a lemonade, and somehow was expecting it to be a home made one, but it came in a glass bottle. Was still nice though. Also, the coffee shop was quite busy, but I suppose it’s normal in a Saturday afternoon. Some people come there to work and stay quite long. They also have a small area to sit outside when the weather is nice.

Bar Butter simply impresses with its quality. Great offer, great service. Great cafes, sparkling wines and pastries, highly recommended.

Very nice coffee! The staff is super friendly and attentive. We had coffee of the highest quality. Neither dead-roasted beans nor runny hipster green tea pourover. Simply intense, fruity coffee enjoyment! Next time we'll come for a glass of wine.

Excellent. Lovely atmosphere, good coffee (we ordered two flat whites) and delicious pain au chocolat. I think this was the best service we received in Zurich. The shop keeper was polite, attentive and had a very welcoming presence. Would definitely recommend.

The cozy ambience, the perfect mix of milk and espresso in the flat white and then mommy's cake... simply heavenly. I'm already looking forward to the aperitif offer on my next visit.
