Absolutely recommended, excellent dishes with daily or a la carte menu, valid wine list and impeccable service.

Once and never again! Friendly staff, good wine advice, and very tasty amise-bouche. Followed by a beautiful and tasty lamb's lettuce. But the veal shank with polenta that followed was the most tasteless and boring main course we were ever served!!! In addition, the meat was tough and also had absolutely no taste of its own! But by far the worst and most unprofessional thing was the boss's reaction to our criticism. We have never experienced anything so stubborn, narrow-minded and unreasonable before! It's a shame that the extremely friendly staff motivated us. We will definitely NEVER go to this restaurant again!!!

We went last night for a birthday party and there were 10 of us and the evening was magnificent thanks to Gianluca and his team 👍 excellent cuisine, even for vegetarians, the cake made by them was delicious. We had the opportunity to go to this little restaurant in the heart of Locarno to celebrate the birthday of a friend of ours. At first glance we immediately noticed the attention to detail in the mise ne place of the room. The food was all very good with a high-level restaurant presentation, furthermore the vegetarian options were many and varied. Congratulations both to the staff on duty, with a strong aptitude for attention to detail, as well as to the chef for the excellent dishes presented! I highly recommend it for groups, families and couples who want to spend a nice evening in a warm, well-kept environment where the customer feels pampered.

Unfortunately I don't feel like recommending this restaurant, the reason is simple. We waited an hour for three bruschettas and another good half hour for two cordonbleus. Clearly by the time the cordonbleu arrived, the hunger had disappeared, but they ate them anyway with very little pleasure. When the waitress arrived to collect the dishes she asked us how it went and I expressed my opinion. The waitress, it must be said, very kindly apologized, explaining that they were not expecting all these people, always very kindly later she came to offer us either dessert or coffee to apologise. When the time came to pay the waiter at the cash register, presumably the manager did not mention the mix-up in the slightest, only looking up as we were leaving. I would like to point out that we were not the only ones to complain about the timing, but the manager never met. Maybe the restaurant is run by ghosts.

Rather expensive. If you don't ask about the price, you can happily pay over 9.00 for a glass of white wine. Plus there was nothing to go with the wine.

Amazing food - lunch meals were very good for desent price and great service. The owner's Mama made a desert, which was also very good. Basically, it was such a great experience that we had to come back for dinner. P.s. dog friendly and better with reservation as this restaurant is very often booked up

I was there today with my family. And I have to say that it is one of the best, if not the best, restaurant in Minusio and the surrounding area. Both the service and the ambience and especially the food with the great wine were excellent and served excellently. The price-performance ratio is right for me.!! If you're happy to pay a lot for good food and want to have a tasty meal without stress or time pressure, you should go there.!!!!! (You should be patient with good things) To everyone else who doesn't have taste buds or doesn't have time for the good things in life, they should go to McDonald's and give their opinion there. Thanks We will 1000% come back!!!

Excellent restaurant in Locarno with very friendly staff. Reservation is essential and you have to expect a slightly longer waiting time as everything is freshly prepared. In addition to the delicious drinks, we particularly recommend the Cordon Bleu, the bruschetta and a variety of pasta dishes.

I visited for dinner. The restaurant had a sophisticated and calm atmosphere. I was glad that the staff at the store were polite and friendly. The English menu is available as a PDF on the website, so I ordered from there. I didn't know much about pasta, so I was surprised when I ordered ravioli, thinking it would be spaghetti, but it was delicious and looked beautiful. The prices are high for Japanese people, so I couldn't order a lot, but I would like to try other menu items. Thank you for the meal.

The food was very tasty, but unfortunately we had to wait a long time for it. We didn't get our starter until an hour after we ordered. In general, larger groups were preferred by the service and smaller groups were neglected. A pity!

Gianluca and his team do it simply fantastic! Isolino is a mixture of very good ingredients, loving preparation, incredibly friendly service and very, VERY delicious food. The map is very well designed. There is always something for everyone. From a classic risotto with Alpine cheese to a friendly, three-star trilogy from Condon Bleu… Everything is fresh, everything is recommended. We have been discovering Isolino for months and we always feel so warmly welcomed. (And our dogs too!!!) We always enjoy coming back and we notice that quality is important here. Measly portions of pasta. On 09.20.23 I had dinner on the little island. As a starter I chose the pumpkin soup and followed by the small portion of fresh pappardelle with wild boar ragout. Nothing to complain about the quality, but the portion of tagliatelle at a cost of 24 francs was really poor. A scant 50 grams. Impossible to be full. I complained to the waitress and was told that I'm not the first to complain, but that the kitchen can't change anything because it was decided that way by the manager. Gourmet cuisine does not mean small portions. The customer must leave satisfied and having eaten enough, which was not the case for me. Appreciated the coffee offered.

Giant Cordon Bleu eaten in top quality. The starter was also great. Price-performance is definitely right. The staff was also great - all in all a successful evening.

Pleasant surprise in Locarno! Room furnished in a modern style with careful attention to detail. Balanced menu with varied proposals that can satisfy everyone's palates. The exceptional classic cordon bleu! First choice ingredients, masterfully cooked in a pan and not "thrown" into the fryer. Attentive and friendly service but above all not hasty (optimal service times for a dinner with friends). The wine list is limited but well structured and with the right gems. Congratulations to all the staff and the manager for a very pleasant evening.

Nice people good food, good choice.

First the positive: Very friendly staff. Why only two stars? We had to wait about 15 minutes until we were served. Then it took over an hour for the food to come. What was shocking was that guests who came later had soon eaten their food, so we were still waiting. The food that came next was almost inedible. The cordon bleu and potatoes were way too fatty. The breading was rock hard because it had been fried for far too long. The fact that such a meal is served at all does not show professionalism. Of course I mentioned that it wasn't tasty, didn't apologize and was only told that there were only two people in the kitchen. But that was probably not the reason that you forgot drinks and had to call several times to pay. I think we had a bad day there.

We had the lunch menu (beef ragu pasta, lemon chicken with rice) and found the quality, price and service to be great! Also really good coffee to finish off 😍 Will happily be back again.

A dear friend pointed me to this bar-restaurant. I hadn't been through these parts for a while and I was happy to stop. 11.30am - aperitif time. I order a prosecco. The waitress, on her way out, loses the paper coaster, picks it up, shakes it, and serves it to me. The prosecco... is still... no bubbles... I taste it, confirming what the eye had already noticed. (I worked in the catering sector for several years...). I point this out to the waitress, who with a cry opens a new bottle. Thus I notice the empty bottle, from which the last part was served to me. In the meantime, I was expecting a small snack...nothing like that, for fr. 8.50, sitting, in front of a building. As if I were in a restaurant with a lake view. Unfortunately, I won't come to this place anymore, and I don't even feel like doing good publicity.

We had a wonderful evening in this very cozy restaurant. Great atmosphere, warm, friendly staff and sensationally good food made from regional organic products. A real insider tip for anyone looking for a good, non-touristy location where locals also like to stop by.

He knows how to greet his guests, an absolutely top salesman: while he talks about the menus, your mouth will water! The food is a dream that is second to none. The desserts are not 01815=simply great. If you want a coffee at the end: Here you can get a real barista cafe from the portafilter machine! A top address. We will definitely be back and will be soon!

The best service I have ever experienced in an Italian restaurant in Switzerland! Immediately changed our reserved table without hesitation and efficiency! In total, thank you for the great and professional service! We had amazingly tasty and fresh delicacies! And decaffeinated cappuccini served with egg-less cookies! Four star because we have waited nearly one hour for the food and were charged for the dessert (?) without being informed :-( Anyways… Once we said we prefer to vegetarian food, the service staff remembered it and acknowledged our preference the entire evening, starting with the Appetizer to the cookie along with the cappuccino :)
