We wanted to eat something - succinct answer: "Kitchen closed." No attempt to accommodate us in any way (nuts, bread or cake. And there was neither a German nor an English menu. Disappointing.

Service to be reviewed - does not know the products and dishonest: - order from Macon La Roche Vineuse. The waitress brings a Macon Village 2022 with extra. The boss arrives and assures us that it’s the same thing, or even better. Surprising for a restaurant that prides itself on an extensive wine list and charging excessive prices. - orders a salmon salad, salad, asparagus and truffle. The waitress brings the salad in which the salmon has been replaced by an ordinary country ham, without our being informed. Of course, no excuses and no gestures on the bill. Perhaps too accustomed to plucking pigeons without a palate.

Very nice atmosphere. Food good and service good, but not exceptional. Salad dressing had no acid. Unfortunately there are no vegetarian dishes (except Pizza Margherita and spaghetti with tomato sauce).

We went there because the reviews were positive. We were disappointed with the pizza and the service. The knife was dirty, and the waiters were a little overwhelmed. The setting is nice Dessert good

The service is extremely inattentive and rude. We had already ordered our food 45 minutes ago and were assured it would be served soon. Nevertheless, we were ignored while all other guests were served before us. This is absolutely unacceptable. The food is OK!

We, a group of 9, were really looking forward to visiting here. It took 60 minutes between placing our order and receiving the food.!!! The interesting thing is that two of our group came about 20 minutes later and had their food after about 10 minutes. The rest of the group waited another 50 minutes from this point. All guests who entered the restaurant after us received their food before us. When the food came, we asked for grated cheese. We received this immediately. As quickly as we received it, it was taken away from us to be placed with other guests. The staff doesn't communicate, if only in French and snippy. You could clearly feel that there was a two-tier society here. I can't comment on the food as there was hardly any sauce on my spaghetti.

Absolutely terrible service. We waited 50 minutes for our food while guests around us were being served and were seated much later. It was made clear to us that we as guests did not correspond to their preferred clientele and were treated accordingly. The meal (risotto al limone with scampi) was a liquid broth, which is prepared better in every village pub. The arrogant tone of the staff completed our experience. No thank you.

Pizza Rialto, is my favourite. Delish!

Sorry, we had to wait half an hour for the drinks menu and when it arrived another half hour until we could tell the waiters what we wanted. Then waited another half hour for the drinks so sorry service 0.5.

While the ambiance of the place in the enchanting Gstaad was overrated, the food was okey. However, the Italian coffee did not meet the high standards one would expect from an authentic Italian espresso. Moreover, the manager was rude in abruptly asking me to wait. I would appreciate receiving an invitation when the customer service improves

Very poor service. Need to ask several times for the same thing, they bring the food to one customer but not the other one so that we can watch each other eat. The manager is extremely rude, talking badly about customers in Italian thinking that they don’t understand what he says. He has an attitude and does not take any customers comments.

For an Italian restaurant the coffee was terrible! Way too watery. The conditions were also unfriendly

If you are in Gstaad, I recommend you stop there. The staff is welcoming and friendly, the food is very good, the pizzas are delicious and very large and there is good music in the evening in the bar/lounge

Food was ok (albeit a bit overpriced), but we were waiting for it forever. But ok, it was very busy, I would forgive that. But we asked for the bill 4 times (3 different waiters) and were waiting for it for over 40 minutes while it was getting cold - and we were observing our waiter bringing blankets to another table, taking orders and just skillfully avoiding our gazes, ignoring our waving hands and "excuse me" shouts.

It’s one of my favorite places to eat. Everything about this restaurant is perfect. The view is nice, the atmosphere is great - and the best part is by far the food. The quality is great and the pay is worth, this restaurant is by far the cheapest place in Gstaad. Food I recommend is the pizza, the spaghetti with truffle and all the meats. It’s worth to visit this place if you go to Gstaad.

I love going there. I work too much to go even once a week. It is the best place to have fun, where to eat the best pizza in Gstaad and where to find the highest concentration of Italians. When I miss home I go there. Mario and Rita are my points of reference, and I thank them for the service I offer every day. Even when customers are "too much".

We ordered an excellent and delicious tuna pizza. The restaurant is excellent, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful. We recommend it

In actual fact it should be called fiasco, we were in at 7 it was 8.20 and no food in site, mind you we asked them to bring the kids food first! 5 STARVING children waited for an hour and half Do not go there!!

Don't have to come there, very bad service! Up to 30 minutes waiting time and if you just want to drink a coffee you will feel the hatred of the service people.

The service ladies are nice to very nice. Risotto is okay, but there are better ones nearby. Sole was delicious. Prices high but a bit more moderate than some nearby stores. Plate language nice

All the restaurant in Gstaad are premium, they will never disappoint you. Rialto is top notch with it comes to delicious Mediterranean food. Though the menu is very elaborate, but the best way to judge a good restaurant is to order for sometime which is classical and basic like spaghetti Bolognaise and tiramisu. Both the dishes were as expected prepared with lots of love, and care. Will visit again soon.

The location and the food are really great and recommended. The waiters are very friendly and helpful. However, the manager wasn't exactly accommodating, rather unfriendly/arrogant. It was a shame to be treated condescendingly, as if you couldn't afford to go to the restaurant. Therefore in the end only 3 stars.

Ate dessert on the terrace. This was very fine but a bit expensive. The service was very friendly and also happy to have fun with our boys.

Rarely seen such poor service. Servers completely lost, the manager was unfriendly and unprofessional. Very slow service, and the icing on the cake was the bill being brought to us while we were still waiting for the main courses 🤦🏻‍♂️. A disaster. Way too expensive for such poor service. That said, the dishes weren't bad.

Food, service and atmosphere are so good. We had salad, pasta, and pizza. All sooo delicious.

I'm surprised at all the bad reviews here. I've eaten there many times now, mostly for the pizza and tarte flambée. They are really excellent and in my opinion the best in Saanenland! Ravioli or Wagyu Tataki were also very good! Spaghetti pomodoro and tuna with Asian vegetable salad unfortunately a shot in the oven. Otherwise, I have always experienced very good and attentive service, even if it can take longer. My tip is the Pizza Capricciosa! And a very good Negroni!

Expensive doesn't mean good...Maybe Gstaad is more for celebrities who pay a lot for little quality 😀

Non-existent service... We were with a stroller and the maître d' (with a strong Italian accent) pointed us to an inaccessible table. Seeing our difficulty in maneuvering, he simply replied that we had to lift the stroller (above people's heads).... My questions about this establishment, did it take us for tourists? Best pizza on the Promenade, but also many other dishes. Affordable prices (well, for Gstaad...). Very professional staff, impeccable service. Employees drinking alcohol while customers wait another 30 minutes for a beer, and then what I didn't consume is still on the bill!

Unfriendly service, you can't drink coffee. The woman gives you the worst seat outside, telling you that in the better ones you can only eat. I recommend the restaurant opposite, nice service, beautiful place.

Pizza was very salty and overbaked. Only one person in service for the whole restaurant. Prices are good, solid.

Despite a spontaneous visit on Saturday evening without a reservation, the really nice waiter assigned us a table. Ambience very nice, service very attentive and multilingual. Salad was delicious, as was the pizza for 30 (!), although not “best ever” and with a very large crust. During the 40 minute wait for the food (!) we were able to watch the hustle and bustle of the beautiful and rich - Gstaad 😉

Staff makes a tired impression. Staff masks are worn casually under their noses, apparently a management problem. Pizza ok. Only been here once, maybe we didn't have the perfect day... However, when I see a Château Petrus on display on the wine shelf, I expect a little more. Even for the run-of-the-mill customer.

This upscale pizzeria on mainstreet in Gstaad came highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. All our pizza and pasta dishes were delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our food came very fast. As it's a popular place, reservations are recommended.

Really good pizza and the Tarte flambée was great! The dough was crisp and yet fluffy, the crust had perfectly "burned" spots which a lot of flavour, the toppings were just right. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable for Gstaad.
