We came during the week one evening. The service was messy. And I’m not even talking about the dishes that were almost inedible!!!! To flee !!!

Ideal restaurant to enjoy good Italian dishes and good pizzas The chef's suggestion (salmon raviolini with dill velouté) was a treat. The tiramisu was delicious.

We came to eat at lunchtime and took the buffet formula at 25 chf per person. The buffet is very generous and everything is delicious. I will come back with pleasure!

The food is very very very very good, I highly recommend this very classy and spacious restaurant. Several parking spaces on top of that.

Please change your opening hours. Saturday 21.10. we found ourselves in front of closed doors.

Overall, we ate well. The service was very good, friendly and attentive. The meal was good, my friends and I had a lovely evening. Right at the end we felt like we were being kicked out, it was just 10:15 p.m. 😕.

My business partner chose this restaurant. An Italian restaurant where you can also speak Italian is becoming increasingly rare, so I was impressed from the first minute. He explains that in addition to the menu, they also have a buffet where you can help yourself and serve special dishes that are not on the menu. The three of us decided on salads and pizzas. The salad was without salt and there was no salt to be seen on the table, the French sauce had been spread drop by drop, like a Nouvel Cousine. When we ordered, they didn't even ask if we wanted Italian sauce. For my taste - it took a bit too long until the 3 simple green salads were given. Again, the pizzas came very quickly and mine was very tasty and crispy. The waiter seemed professional without appearing arrogant, which I really liked. The atmosphere is very chic - but I didn't see the terrace. 8-ung: Parking spaces in front of the restaurant are chargeable - I didn't know it, just when I walked out I saw the pillar. It's too bad it's too far away from home - otherwise I would really like to take my wife and friends with me.

Our first experience at L'Incontro was truly awful. We were travelling to Italy and this experience was part of our stay at the B&B Hotel next door. The restaurant is not owned by the hotel but is used by them for breakfast. We chose to stay here as it was very convenient and close to the motorway. It also has this restaurant which I checked was open until 2200 knowing we would appreciate it after a long day of driving from France (over 500km). You will see I write another review for our return journey which could not have been more different! I guess we were just really unlucky with this visit. After a difficult check-in, we entered the restaurant before 2100. There was a very large group of men drinking outside but they didn't seem to be using the restaurant as they had cans of beer in plastic bags. We were greeted by a polite man who spoke good English. We asked if we could sit down but he said the restaurant was closed. I asked him what time the restaurant should be open until but he just said it was closed. I asked him what time the restaurant had actually closed that evening but again he just said it was closed. He asked if we were staying in the Hotel and we said yes. We then asked if we could take food away from the restaurant and he said it was possible to take Pizza away to our room. He asked if we wanted some drinks and we ordered two beers, a glass of wine and a juice for my very tired 5-year old Daughter. This cost us nearly £30. He gave us plastic glasses for the takeaway. We paid, and then he seemed to disappear around the side of the bar. We called him over and asked to order the pizza he'd said we could take away but he replied that the kitchen was closed. He then tried to send us to a restaurant 3 minutes' walk away which was owned by a friend of his. He gave the impression we would need go quickly because it would close soon. But what about the drinks we had just bought? I had bought an extra beer to enjoy with our pizza. Were we meant to drink them quickly and then head off in the dark in an area we did not know when there were many men outside which made us feel unsafe. We said we would not go to the restaurant. He then invited us to sit down at some bar tables inside the restaurant near the door. But when we went over to sit down, he ushered us outside instead, saying the restaurant was closed! Quite unbelievable, really. I'm not sure I have ever experienced such a dreadful customer experience. I felt this person's English was not the reason for any misunderstanding and I feel that we were deliberately conned into spending nearly £30 on the basis that we would be ordering take-away pizza. We had beer and wine in the car and could have drunk this in our room instead. We ended up eating snacks in a very hot room (see my hotel review) but at least we had some food. I have kept my reviews of the Hotel and Restaurant separate as they both had problems. You will see from my second review of L'Incontro that it could not have been more different, so I think we just had a really bad experience on this occasion. As long as it is open, this is a good place to eat but avoid if they are quiet and ask whether there is a chef there before you buy any drinks!

I spent the night there with friends, in the morning the breakfasts were until 10 a.m., we went between 9:30 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. and the lady made it clear to us that she only served coffee and nothing. on the other hand, it was too late for breakfast.

Normally, when I go on a field trip, I usually eat in the lounge, but this time I didn't have time, so I ran non-stop, so I missed dinner. This restaurant happened to be right next to the hotel, and it had good ratings, so I ate vongole pasta here, and it tasted as good as the Google restaurant rating. .

Happy discovery in Lausanne. Italian restaurant, large and modern room, excellent quality of ingredients, friendly and professional service. Roberto is always a certainty. Perfect clam pasta, tasty fillet with vegetables. Cinema tiramisu, check the video. Interesting wine list and possibility to drink important bottles too. Thank you. Enjoy.
