Top friendly staff and always attentive. No long waiting times, everything that is ordered is served promptly. The dishes are simply well prepared and are a pleasure. My rip eye steak is nice and rare, the french fries allumettes are also a pleasure, mousse au chocolat is not too soft and doesn't have a strong chocolate taste. I'll come back, no question

A lovely place and atmosphere plus great food. David from front of house made our evening. We are very happy with the kind attitude of the stuff after being rudely turned away from other restaurants earlier in the evening. We enjoyed the food and service, an additional thank you to Miaden who served us at the bar. Reserve if you can as they are quite busy this time of year. Regardless, a highly recommended place when in Zurich.

Possibly the best steak, the quality, presentation are top class. The atmosphere and service was excellent. The place was packed, bustling but never chaotic. Waiting staff handling the environment really well. Price is at the top end, but sometime this no longer matters. Will definitely recommend and surely come back.

The place where I ate the best café entrecôte in Paris! This Restaurant is absolutely brilliant. Everything was perfect. Really great service. Extremely friendly waiter, then the Café de Paris entrecôte was a treat. Very good wine. The chic brasserie atmosphere is very friendly. Thank you for this beautiful moment. The Bärengasse is very popular with many people - and frankly, rightly so. The food was really very good, the lady who served us was very courteous and polite. It's unusual that such a popular Spunten in Zurich can perform like this - many are then just "cool". Bärengasse does this really well and at a consistently high level.

Yesterday we had dinner in the covered part of the restaurant, it was beautiful as always! The Zürigeschnetzelte, which I have enjoyed a few times, surprised me very negatively! For a whopping 56.00 I only received 6 pieces of meat, each about 3 cm in size! Until recently this was still served in a pan, i.e. 2 courses!!! The size of my meal was completely overpriced and doesn't justify any higher price! We will avoid this restaurant in the future!

I go to Bärengasse very often and have never been disappointed. The beef tartare is highly recommended, but also the truffle pasta. Very friendly service, always very good quality. Also comfortable to eat outside on colder days or have a drink outside.

I was completely impressed by the Argentinian Steakhouse Bärengasse! The meat was of the highest quality and cooked perfectly, what a taste experience. But not only the food, the service was also excellent. A big thank you goes especially to the managing director Mike Kleiber, who created a unique atmosphere with his specialist knowledge and attentive manner. The wine selection was also excellent and complemented the perfect meal. I can highly recommend a visit here and will definitely come back myself!

Most importantly: the food was excellent!! Starter, main course, dessert excellent. A nice evening. Then we made the mistake of asking for the bill. A total bill was simply drawn up and then everyone was allowed to guess what they had to pay. The waitress disappeared and made no attempt to help us. Not possible in this price range. The whole theater lasted 30 minutes. Completely unnecessary - surprisingly there is an almost identical entry from 3 years ago...

I always enjoy dining here, regardless what you choose it will taste amazing. My personal favorite: Parmesan soup All the tatarts! Tagliolini with shrimps Potato gratin - one of the best I ever had in my life!!! 😍 The café de paris is good, but there are other places in Zurich that offers better quality meat and a flavorful ”sauce” I was very disappointed about the chimichurri, didn’t taste fresh and somehow lacked in taste maybe salt was missing - over didn’t like their chimichurri - please get someone else to make this, it shouldn’t be that hard. The service is tricky to rate, as it‘s never consistent. Once the were extremely slow and had the impression they forgot us, another time they were very prompt and attentive and then average. I celebrated my birthday here today. The meat here is a poem. Of course, the side dishes are also excellently coordinated. And the service is friendly and competent. I can say we'll be back... Highly recommended.. ok it costs something but the value for money is completely right

I loved this place! Service was very attentive and the food absolutely delicious. We came here on a Monday evening and the atmosphere was great for some wonderful conversations.

For starters we shared beef and veal tartare, guacamole, and the mozzarella and goats cheese starters. The tartare was really really good, especially the veal one. It was so flavorful that i totally overcame my fear and repulsion of consuming raw meat. I ordered a steak for mains with chimichurri sauce, and i regretted it once i tried the steak 'cafe de Paris' that my colleague ordered. That was really good! mine was good too tho. For dessert i had the chocolate mousse and it was spot on. Everything was really good at this place, especially the service. Also they have a great wine selection

I haven't had such a bad tartare in a long time. The meat was completely drowned out by the sauce, which was completely over-seasoned. However, the place is cozy. Plus point for Dieter Meier's products

Easy to reach by public transport (Paradeplatz). Large, trendy restaurant. Well attended, reservations recommended. Very nice and attentive staff. We enjoyed an excellent roast beef with Bernaise sauce and pommes alumettes. The only negative point is the noise level.

Everything is just right here: delicious food, very friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere in the middle of the city and yet quiet. Not only did the Argentinian meat and fish dishes taste excellent, the salad and the curry (also available vegan) were also very good. Plus good wine. What more do you want?

The food is very good, but if you're hungry you should eat somewhere else. I was super disappointed when my 45 Fr. Roast Beef came to the table and I had 3 lobes of about 80g in total. Even the 2 extra slices of supplement don't help anymore 😂 The potato gratin was brought in a very small bowl.... Luckily it came with a small teaspoon, otherwise a soup spoon would have been gone straight away 😂

Very good food, super friendly and attentive staff, but prices are a bit steep (even for Zurich standards). Overall, highly recommended.

First Impression: Romantic spot, the Puro Cab Sauv wine was great. Went on a Tuesday evening and it was nice and quiet. Atmosphere: Although there were a lot of beautiful and comforting seating, we were escorted to the corner. I always pay attention to the atmosphere and overall first impression by the restaurant and unfortunately was not up to par based from my restaurant experiences in Zurich so far. However, the waitress was attentive and kind. Food: Is it bad that the bread and whipped butter was way more delicious than the entree? Maybe because my medium rare was more rare than I’d like it. And the chimichurri (I’m a freak for Argentinian food) is way too peppery (black pepper). The starter salad itself had way too much dressing on it. It’s overpowering especially when it’s raspberry dressing. Final Comments: I’m just not one to say anything to the cook but hope that this will assist the kitchen menu 😫 #nonconfrontational GAH. Sad girl.

The Bärengasse right on Paradeplatz near the CS is simply cult. Top food, great service and great location. As a bonus, you can always meet Dieter Meier from Yello here, as I was told it is his restaurant and he often stops by himself.

Meat lovers and connoisseurs are guaranteed to get their money's worth! Simply delicious! Nice, quiet atmosphere, attentive but not intrusive service. Prices high but reasonable.

We were in the bar area and ordered some food. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the food tasted very good.

Nice service, especially the boss was very accommodating. Unfortunately it is a little noisy in the restaurant, but there is a cozy and warmed outside area. The Café de Paris Entrecôte was extremely tasty. The vegetarian burger did not meet expectations. At least there are vegetarian alternatives.

Top service, steak was bombastic. The ambience is average and the avocado tartar is an unambitious nod to vegetarians. You should go over it again with the spice gun. Fun fact: Yello is playing in the phone queue, but not the new album. Like with the avocado tartare, you might have to be a little bolder. 😉
