Highly recommended. Great start for a bachelorette party or team event. With a lot of charm, humor and expertise. Remo guided us through the event really well. As a prospective owner of my own bar, I could definitely benefit from the experience at Remo's bar school. It gave me valuable insight into the world of bartending and broadened my perspective. The Intensive Pro course was a perfect combination of theoretical and practical lessons. From hygiene/cleanliness to preparation of the workplace (mise-en-place), greeting guests, various preparation techniques and expertise in drink mixes as well as the attractive presentation of the drinks - all of this was comprehensively covered. I would like to integrate what I have learned into my everyday professional life and would also be willing to take the course again in order to always keep my knowledge up to date. Thank you Remo.

Unfortunately, my experience has shown that there is still a lot to learn when it comes to inclusion, diversity and equality. It is now clear to me that this school has not yet achieved the dynamism of a respected educational center that sees diversity as a priority. Instead, the school seems unwilling to accept participants other than those from the well-known, local environment. Frankly, I didn't expect the kind of racism I experienced. Racist, unprofessional and unqualified teacher - Poor content - Little practical teaching skills - The school is not a reputable educational school

this course is a very informative one, it involves a lot, from theoretical to practical. taking this course will give new barkeepers a very solid foundation, where they will understand the bigger picture of the Bar and its essential constituents. With his humorous manner, Remo manages to convey both the theoretical and practical parts in an understandable and memorable way. I was able to attend the Intensive Pro bar course for a week. Remo tells the theory so interestingly, with lots of examples and impressions from his life, that it never got boring... on the contrary, I could have listened for a long time. The best thing, of course, is the practice, which is not neglected. We learned new things every day, whether stirring, shaking or mixing. And Remo always passed on tips and tricks and let us create our own drinks. We were a small, great team and were able to practice a lot and benefit from Remo's great expertise. If you want to take the step into the bar world, you shouldn't miss taking a course at the Thörig bar school! I highly recommend it.

From the first minute to the last minute, I was electrified by Remo's knowledge - by the way of training - by the way of sharing something with enthusiasm, fascinated. It was a really fun, entertaining and stress-free time at Remo's bar school. I booked a cocktails mixing workshop with my team in Barfachschule. Remo welcomed us with a big smile and electronic actitud, he was fun and very knowledgeable! We learned during the 2 hours how to make 4 cocktails and the best practices to create our own cocktails! 100% recommended :)

Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. I imagined a week close to practice. Unfortunately, Remo Thörig talked more about theoretical approaches. I advise him to be more responsive to his participants.

We had a great beginners bar course at Remo where we learned a lot about the various components and preparation of cocktails and related drinks in a fun way. Due to the small number of participants, we were able to prepare 5 drinks per person ourselves. We also liked the fact that Remo attaches great importance to hygiene behind the bar. Clear recommendation for anyone who would like to surprise their next guests with a creative drink!

It was a great experience being taught the ins and outs of the Job of a Bartender by Remo Thörig. In only a week, one receives a thorough education and can practice the art of creating drinks with an extremely charismatic and competent teacher. I had a blast and can not recommend this school enough to anyone who is interested in the craft.

Remo organised for my team and I an amazing cocktail workshop. We were 18 people and each of us could prepare 4 different drinks (with or without alcohol, according to the taste). The bar is suitable for 18 people, maybe even more. The tips from Remo were interesting and entertaining, but also really useful, proving his experience. We all had fun at the cocktail workshop and prepared cocktails not only for ourselves, but also for each other.

Remo has enormous specialist knowledge and just as much experience, and conveys this very passionately and humorously. In addition, he dispels some myths and clichés and is therefore even more inspiring for his own creations. From classics to never before tasted cocktails, you can learn everything here. Highly recommended for 99% of all bartenders and those who want to become one.

Barfachschule Thorig offers an excellent Barkurs in Zurich Switzerland. Remo has excellent English which was great for me as an international student. Remo has a long bar with 8 full stations so I had lots of opportunity to practice my Cocktail making on my own bar station. I highly recommend Remo's Barkurs as he is a Swiss Champion in Bar tending. I learnt a lot and also enjoyed Remo's sense of humour.
