Vegetarian restaurant directly on the banks of the Rhine. Top cocktails, great service. And at the weekend there is a good atmosphere in the club for little money.

We were there last night and had a really fantastic meal. We weren't aware that all (?) dishes were vegetarian, which made us very happy. The waiter was very friendly and not intrusive, he also gave us insider tips about the food ;D we were thrilled. The location is really pretty too, I can imagine it being even better in the summer when you can sit outside. We will come back in any case. Be sure to order the Bao's! :D (also works as an appetizer to share)

Very nice place to feel good. Whether in summer to chill out with a view of the Rhine or in winter at the atmospheric bar for a delicious drink or in the restaurant for a very fine meal. Everyone very friendly and welcoming. Simply always worth a visit.

I had the pleasure of spending an evening in the restaurant followed by cocktails at the bar. The ambience is inviting and elegant. In addition, the acoustics are well balanced, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. The staff in the restaurant and at the bar were always warm and attentive. The multiple courses of the menu are great. Each dish is not only presented in a visually appealing way, but also tastes great and is of high quality. I'm already looking forward to the next visit!

The small but nice card is great! The “5 Bites” surprise menu was convincing and there was great wine too! You also have to try the bao buns :)

Great service, great menu selection and very friendly staff. Offers a great bar, restaurant and, on weekends, a club for dancing. The view is a dream, right on the Rhine. You have the opportunity to watch people strolling on the promenade on the terrace and there is usually great sound playing in the background. I've been there several times and have to say, I always enjoy coming back.

Unfortunately there are only a few vegan options, even though the entire menu is vegetarian. I expect that vegans will also get their money's worth from a new restaurant with young operators. But the service was friendly and quite prompt, the view and the furniture were nice.

We had a great evening here. The food was very good - creative and tasty - and the service was extremely friendly. Gladly again!

A great new cafe/restaurant/bar/bistro where you can have a great coffee drink. The location on the Rhine is beautiful, the terrace is in the shade and when we were there there was a light wind, super pleasant! This corner of the Rhine in particular is not that crowded. You have to order at the bar, but the staff still brought us water for the dog and were very friendly. We were there for about 1.5 hours and would love to come back

I celebrated my 60th birthday in an atmospheric ambience with 60 people of all ages with first-class service and the “kitchen to go” offer. Everyone was absolutely thrilled.

The Basso restaurant on the banks of the Rhine is a real insider tip for all lovers of vegetarian cuisine. The location is fantastic and offers a picturesque view of the river. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we felt completely comfortable. I was particularly impressed by the cart with tapas plates, including a delicious potato salad with truffles and a delicious burger. The selection of tapas was varied and the cheesecake and chocolate cake were simply incredibly good. The beautiful lamps created a pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a fantastic experience on the banks of the Rhine.

Nice, New place on the banks of the Rhine. Smart new crew, fair food offerings, mostly self service though. Value for money is moderate, at best, and location is quite far away from Basel town. Great views though and a good place to relax and enjoy a drink in the evening or after a swim in the Rhine.

The location is really nice. All vegetarian food. Unfortunately it was not good enough for the prices.

First, we waited 20min to be attended to by the waitress and eventually had to go and ask for service. Second, total daylight robbery when it comes to food. 21CHF for just a burger, which comes with barely any sauce and the veggie patty so dry it crunches. I'm really disappointed by this experience. So expensive for what you get. You can only profit from location for so long.

Very, very fine cocktails and the food is simply outstanding! Would only come back to eat the dip for the sweet potato fries again. I can only highly recommend the 5 Bites, very great surprises and totally worth it! And the service staff gets extra praise, really great people who work there!

Went here for a few drinks throughout the afternoon. The location is very stylish and modern. There is no service but you have to order at the restaurant bar. Sometimes you had to wait several minutes until someone came to the bar. The range of drinks is rather small. The snack offer is limited to a meze platter and nuts, which are explicitly stated not to be free (which we didn't expect). Service was ok, but we didn't really feel welcome.

We went to the Kitchen Club on Saturday. In the Kitchen Club, as a guest you have access to the kitchen and get the food yourself. Contact with the kitchen team and the other guests creates an interactive evening, with great conversations, great food and the right drinks. I can only warmly recommend it to everyone.

Entry costs 10chf and the society is upscale, bullying and arrogant. The free buffet is cold and tasteless, simply an imposition.
