Beach in Ascona

Horribly bad service at 4 p.m. Even though there were hardly any guests there, we had to ask the waiter for a card after 15 minutes. He brought 2 wine lists 5 minutes later. So we couldn't choose anything to eat with it. When he was too lazy to ask us what we would like, we left after another 15 minutes. Interesting that the owner apologized after my review. I had described the experience to him by email a week earlier. This wasn't of interest, I would have received the apology. This excuse is therefore not very credible.

Wonderful place to relax, great ambience, drinks and food not exactly cheap but otherwise really top.

The location & ambience are breathtaking, but the service is of the lowest standard. It can easily take 30-40 minutes from ordering to receiving the drinks, even though you are seated. Unfortunately, it's worth mentioning that I'm spending the entire summer in Ascona and it wasn't a one-time visit. We tried it again and again, also because of the ambience. Sometimes the worst service in all of Ascona. Price performance at the lowest level. Really a shame about this location.

Nice ambience, lousy service. Even though the bar was only moderately busy, the service was not impressive. I left after almost an hour without drinking anything. My companion's request for service was ignored. Was it because my companion spoke English? Frustrating experience

What was a natural, traditional beach for everyone has now become a loud, unfriendly money machine that has spread everywhere with all-weather loungers and that neither families with children, married couples or older people can afford. No trace of sustainability. It's a shame that the wonderful nature with old trees and reed banks worth protecting are being sold off so cheaply.

Great atmosphere, the food is good but I find it a little expensive for the quantity and quality. But otherwise it's a very nice place worth visiting

We have made a reservation for our wedding dinner on August 7th, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. We wanted to have an aperitif at 5:30 p.m. Unfortunately, we were denied this in the first place because we didn't reserve the table until 7 p.m. Of course, at this time more than half of the tables were empty. After a short, in-depth conversation with the person in charge, we were allowed to take a seat at our reserved table beforehand. We order a bottle of Moet, whiskey, Red Bull and Cola. We were restricted, after which we didn't see the service for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The service isn't interested in refilling the drink or ordering another bottle. At some point I complained again to the person in charge. From then on the service ran smoothly. The food was very good. The ambience is sensational. But if you want to look after guests at such a high level, a lot still has to change in terms of service. The price-performance ratio is zero here.

The location is really great and well done. Therefore the ambience is very nice... but the service leaves a lot to be desired... and the food is also not of the appropriate quality. We had to ask for the aperitif twice before it finally came to the table, but unfortunately without any side dishes... they came too late... I had bone marrow as a starter with almost charred toast... sorry, not possible and the whole thing at a horrendous price. The wine we selected wasn't in stock... the second choice was ok but way too warm. The main course was ok but not of top quality... the prices, on the other hand, were more than top... far too high for what ultimately ended up on the table. I simply CANNOT recommend it, you have to really read about the books, dear Breuer family...

Truly extraordinary beach club! Friendly staff both on the beach and in the restaurant/bar. Guarded kids area with inflatables suitable for younger children and a floating course on the lake for older ones. Well done!

Nice and original location, kind and courteous staff, poor quality of cocktails, shameful to say the least. Asked for two Mojitos, received two watered down drinks with no taste, asked to make them again, two drinks arrived with a little more alcohol but they had nothing of the Mojito. The bartenders' comments were absurd, it was a shame for them that we were sitting near the bar. I will definitely never go back again. In addition to this ridiculous price for what is offered.

Very nice beach located at the best location with real nice cocktails served

Beautiful location directly on Lake Maggiore. It's like a nice beach bar. But the service has a lot of room for improvement. The staff walked past waiting customers countless times without paying any attention to them. After an average waiting time of 45 minutes for a drink, the cashier service was available just 2 minutes later. Every time the billing was wrong🤔🤔. There is an urgent need for improvement here.

You can’t have it all. Either you are a restaurant or a pub. Seven Senses have the music as if you’re in Awakenings, while the prices of food (50 euros for pasta) act as if they were a 5 stars Michelin restaurant. We told them several times the music was too loud, they didn’t care. Most of the people were waiting near the shoreline as it was impossible to chat in the tables. On top of that, they brought a coffee and dessert that we didn’t order, and the wine was served at a terrible temperature (they ofc blame us as if we didn’t let it long enough in the ice bucket). It’s a trap, don’t come.

Currently the best place in Ascona with the absolute holiday feeling……Saint Tropez in Ticino!!!!

We had dinner there. The atmosphere and setting is beautiful and the food was good. I will still give it one star because of the music: we asked several times to lower the volume and we clearly saw the DJ being annoyed when the staff asked him to do so. Then he raised it again even when literally 3 tables were left. We complained again and no one did anything Completely ruined the meal and atmosphere of the night since no one could even talk to each other.

Very nice environment with a wonderful view. We were truly pampered from the moment we entered. Very nice to see the open kitchen. We enjoyed some fresh lobster linguine which also arrived quickly. An excellent offer of wines ranging from reds, rosés and whites. We tasted some white wine from the Langhe. I also appreciated the rhythmic music but with the volume subdued. Highly recommended is to start with a cocktail.

The service ranged from very great on the beach to pretty poor when it came to food. At Vino Rosato came red wine. Still water came at Auga con Gas. The fish of the day, which was supposed to be for one or two people, was only available for two people. My order then arrived after over an hour. She was forgotten, but once she was on the radar again, things happened very quickly. So the red wine was perfect for the nerves. The location is very nice.

The Seven Group has once again outdone itself! There has never been anything so cool in Ascona! You feel like you're at the sea all in one Beach club like you know it from St Tropez, Ibiza or Tulum! This great area with the sand facing the lake and the beautiful, chic loungers and cabanas, dreamily spread out in front of Lake Maggiore, you just have to enjoy! And first of all, the restaurant, which is absolutely amazing, is definitely worth visiting at lunchtime and chilling out on the loungers in between, before continuing in the evening with live music and the next delicacies from the exclusive Seven kitchen. The food, the wines, the ambience, the Italian flair and the great location by the lake with a romantic sunset. What more could you want? No visit to Ascona without the Seven establishments, which can also be found and tried out everywhere on the piazza! An absolute must!

Just great, very good food! Right on the lake but you feel like you're on a beach holiday at the sea.

We arrived with the idea of ​​having an aperitif and then deciding whether to have dinner there. Since we didn't book, they gave us a table at the back, but wanting only to have an aperitif we asked to have one on the sand, also at the back in front of the music box which, in my opinion, for aperitif time was too high: I advise the staff to ask customers if they are dining or just stopping for an aperitif and in the latter case to suggest the beach because the location is so beautiful that it conquers on its own. At the table the waiter comes after 12 minutes of us being seated, without a card so I guess you have to know for yourself what they offer. We then ask for the paper and the cleaning of the table, the paper arrived, we kept the table dirty. At minute 15 we manage to send the order, at minute 25 our drinks arrive... total expense approx. 30 CHF, not even an olive to accompany them. I understand you have just opened, but the welcome and organization cannot be improvised. It's not the negative reviews that take customers away (I think we understand each other), but the poor service. Sit down with the team, give yourself a reception model that includes customer options, and organize yourself by zones based on the level of saturation by time slot (I imagine that at 5pm customer requests are different from those at 7pm). You have an incredible structure, you will only make it work if you capitalize on it by combining it with a consistent service. Good job guys!

I went on Saturday evening for an aperitif and with the hope of eating after taking a bath. The head waiter looks at us strangely, we had with us clothes to change after the bath and my dog. He tells us that there is no room for dinner and that dogs are not allowed in (there were already two calm ones on the beach, one of which was giant and black). We return after the bath to the public area hoping that with the new clothing we would have been "accepted"... we sit down for the aperitif and we need two spritzes for 22.- without anything to munch on! We ask for a table and they tell us that there is no place because it would have filled up by 8pm. Disappointed above all because the card afforded well despite the prices which, however, given the location, have their reasons. We see some dishes going out towards the beach and we say that we would have happily eaten at the table too. We were told that they are only used for sunbeds which must be booked!! We leave at 8.30pm with ⅔ of the tables still free. In short: everything wonderful but little flexibility and zero welcoming! Sin!! I will gladly return because the place and the menu seem to deserve it! Force!!

Hui at the front, yuck at the back! At first impression you are "blinded" by the actually beautiful infrastructure...which becomes clear upon first contact with the employees. In order to have a special, wonderful holiday experience, we decided to rent a cabana (approx. 150CHF)... we thought... we should treat ourselves to something during the holidays... The cabana was nice... but that Service...as in the other 7Group locations (more and more noticed, NOT ALL!), there are incredibly unfriendly employees and especially female employees...stroppy, ignorant...they ignore you (in the truest sense of the word) as soon as Of course you were charged first...Right next to us, a family was jumped around with service (but probably not with friendliness). Not even ignored when walking past (well noticed 2m next to us). We were only able to order drinks three times, although the second one after about 3-4 hours (no look, no demand during this time) did not result in the refreshments we had hoped for. And on the third attempt we probably "disturbed" the employee when she was clearing away in the neighboring cababa... (also after about 3-4 hours). This is probably the reason why the beautiful infrastructure has plenty of free places to offer. Now I first have to google whether I misunderstood something about the word GASTronomy. But feel free to test it yourself.

I can't judge the food because we didn't stay but... Apart from the location which has enormous potential... There is a lot to improve in the service. The staff are friendly but clearly disorganised, it is clear that there is no proper management behind it. They give us a table that has not been cleaned despite multiple invitations from us to do so. 25 minutes from when we sat down to when the drink arrived... Too much... Furthermore, from a beach club I would have expected them to know how to make an "old fashioned"... Even there... A waiter tells me "We don't have cocktails on the menu but ask us and we'll make them" and the next "eh... I could do it but I don't know the bartender..." The negroni I got as an alternative was good. And not even a little something to nibble on with the aperitif... it doesn't exist! You don't make customers like that... Furthermore, a glass was broken at the bottom. I don't know if it was the evening but "Senses" and beach clubs provide relaxing music but yesterday evening thundering bass at high volume already during the aperitif... We didn't stay because we would have left with a headache and who knows how many hours after... Looking at the menu it's interesting, prices perhaps a little high, even for Ascona... We're also still in a beach club... If I also have to wait... No thanks. Guys you have a jewel in your hand... Wake up! You have just opened so I will definitely give you another chance because from the service of the Seven premises (in particular easy) I am used to a different standard. See you again in a few weeks 😊

Recently opened Lido on Lake Maggiore. Environment, spectacular locations, it feels like being on holiday on the Mediterranean. Tried it as an aperitif, quick, courteous and attentive service. I will be back to try dinner.

We sit down, 3 seconds later a waiter arrives without cards in his hand and says "please?!?", bring at least a menu right? The order is brought to us, coke 0 and seven spritz, my partner says the coke is for me and the girl laughs in his face and looks at me and says "great lady".... all this with the tray placed on the table . Okay, let's finish the meal, obviously we don't eat, we turn around looking for someone to pay who obviously doesn't arrive, we go to pay and it's 17chf.... Never again. Ho avuto l'occasione di fare un aperitivo con la mia famiglia.Servizio scarso non ci hanno nemmeno portato le bibite al tavolo.Vino carissimo ( 8.- per un bicchiere e per di piu in plastica).Bellissimo posto ma questo é tutto.La prossima volta volta vado al bagno pubblico dove i prezzi sono normali e se mi devo servite da solo fa niente.

Siamo stati una domenica con una decina di amici al branch che il ristorante propone ogni domenica, a parte il fatto che ci siamo ritrovati in un cantiere (palette con piastrelle pronte per essere posate, giardino completamente disfatto con erba alta, fatiscente e con una puzza di cloro), il pranzo non era neanche degno di una mensa scolastica, presentato stile aperitivo con i soci, piatti caldi pasta scotta, carne immangiabile, servizio discutibile. Il dessert che viene venduto come uno dei fiori all’occhiello del ristorante, sembravano più delle coppette prefabbricate con delle creme discutibili anche queste. Tutto sommato niente di che. Cercate poi di dare un’identità a questo posto, discoteca di notte, tentativo di ristorante di giorno.

Sono stato per un aperitivo di lavoro in questo posto che già conoscevo da tempo. Personale davvero gentile, camerieri educati e attenti. L’aperitivo è abbondante.Unica pecca, il locale mostra i segni del tempo. Pavimento rovinato, non molto pulito e i mobili da giardino all’interno rendono tutto poco elegante. Peccato, un tempo i dettagli erano più curati.

Cet endroit était il y a quelques années une adresse à faire. C'était "the place to be" avec des plats raffinés dans une ambiance cosy. C'était avant... La carte est devenue quelconque avec des plats très basiques et plus du tout raffinés. Je garderai cet endroit en tête pour le bar car l'intérieur est magnifique. Autant retenir le bar et son superbe décor plutôt que le restaurant...

Die Lounge war einst ein feines Restaurant mit kombinierter Bar. Das Essen ist zwar ok, steht aber definitiv nicht mehr im Vordergrund. Im Hauptraum stehen keine Tische mehr, da ab 20h ein DJ Salsa-Musik auflegt und drei Paare dazu tanzen. Eine Lounge ist das nicht mehr. Es ist auch keine Bar und kein Restaurant. So hat die Lounge keine Zukunft, leider.

Il posto è incantevole con ampi spazi. Abbiamo apprezzato l'aperitivo.La nota dolente è la cucina dove i piatti serviti sono pessimi, assolutamente improponibili. Ci meravigliano le altre recensioni positive, forse quella sera non c'era il cuoco e chi lo ha sostituito non era assolutamente all'altezza della situazione.La carta dei vini ha una scelta molto limitata e con vini che sono venduti ad un prezzo troppo alto.Il conto alla fine è risultato salato con un rapporto qualità/prezzo pessimo.Consigliamo il locale per l'aperitivo ma per cenare andate in un altro ristorante.

Abbiamo scelto il luogo perché ubicato in un posto davvero splendido, ma ahimè rispetto ad anni scorsi è decisamente decaduto! Abbiamo aspettato 45 minuti per farci poi servire una tagliata di manzo stracotta, una insalata caprese che mi ha fatto star male. Il menu è presentato su fogliacci peggio che ad una cucina operaia (ma i prezzi no!) con proposte davvero deludenti! Unica nota positiva il cameriere ea simpatico ;).. ma non basta

Nicht mehr geeignet für ein schönes Dinner. Vom Lido dröhnte ein lautes Konzert auf die Terrasse. Wir hatten reserviert, der Tisch war nicht parat. Der Service war nicht präsent und nach 20 Minuten haben wir das Lokal verlassen. Die ganze Terrasse ist schmutzig, das Mobiliar erneuerungswürdig und vom einstigen schönen Ambiente der Delta Lounge blieb nichts aber auch gar nichts mehr übrig. Wir gehen da nicht mehr hin.

Недалеко от пляжа Асконы(просто на его территории) типичный клубный ресторан.Оформлен красиво, стиль модерн.Выбор тапас,бургер,есть рыба.Огромная винная карта.Сервис очень приличный.Порции очень большие.Не берите больше двух типов тапас- иначе будет очень много.Вкусный вариант с тунцом, с треской.Домашнее тирамису Цены выше среднего.Все достойно.

Dopo l'esperienza negativa del cenone precedente, ho comunque deciso di ripetere l'esperienza dopo adeguate rasicurazioni da parte del gestore del locale. Devo dire che quest'anno è stata tutta un'altra cosa. Ottima accoglienza, personale molto cortese, vari stuzzichini e bollicine per iniziare, quindi un sontuoso buffet di antipasti, buoni i primi, forse un po' più anonimo il secondo servito al tavolo, di nuovo notevole il finale con una scelta di pasticceria decisamente buona. Carta dei vini abbastanza ristretta, ma vista la serata e la folta clientela da soddisfare nulla di grave. Sul fronte dell'intrattenimento post cena, direi un buon ambiente, per una clientela dai 30 in su, musica per i miei gusti personali troppo fissata sul latino, ma senz'altro ad altri sarà piaciuta; non sarebbe male variare di più. In conclusione la serata è valsa il prezzo, decisamente corretto rispetto a certe cifre da capogiro richieste da altri locali canton ticinesi "pseudo vip".

Uno dei locali che preferisco frequentare in Svizzera, dove c'è musica c'è allegria ma sopratutto la musica latino americana. The best!!

Sono tanti anni che frequento il Beach lounge. Si può dire che sono un'affezionata di questo locale.. Il venerdì sera è stato, per molto tempo, il ritrovo mio e dei miei amici per festeggiare con un aperitivo la fine della settimana lavorativa.Ho vissuto i vari cambi di gestione che si sono stati e mi sono sempre trovata bene. Ultimamente però mi dispiace dover constatare che la qualità, sia del servizio che degli aperitivi proposti, non sono più quelli di prima. Peccato perché i buoni clienti bisogna riconoscerli . Spero che si tratti solo di una fase..

Die Beach Lounge ist der perfekte Ort, um den Tag gemeinsam mit Einheimischen bei einem exotisch bis klassischen Drink ausklingen zu lassen. Die Cocktails sind toll gemixt und häufig gibts ab ca. 22.00 Uhr einen DJ, der bei elektronischen Beats für Stimmung sorgt.

Alles ist top. Das beste Essen, die besten Drinks, das beste Atmosphäre, bester Service, beste Musik. Schön, kühl Ort für abendlichen Drink und Abendessen gut aus voll Center.

Molto originale mangiare la Picanha. È a volontà e l'eccezionale Luciano con la sua simpatia ti fa sentire quasi come a casa. Sono molto attenti e il mangiare lo preparano sul momento, dunque a dipendenza del piatto c'è da aspettare un attimo.

Ich kann nur Kritik einer Aspekt von Ascona's Beach Lounge: den ständigen Abendessen statt jeden Samstag zwischen 6 Uhr und 8 Uhr. Jedes Getränk (von gewidmet und gifted Barkeeper) kostet 15 Franken (glaube ich) und man bekommt entschieden zu lecker Essen aus verschiedenen Buffets während des Bar. Schön Käse, Antipasti, sogar gekocht Essen wie Pasta oder gegrillt Ribs. Die Umgebung, direkt am See ist toll, die Atmosphäre entspannt, die Musik abwechslungsreich und das Volumen genau richtig. Es ist modern, aber nicht in Ihr Gesicht. Ein toller Ort um zu entspannen an einem Samstag am frühen Abend - und auf jeden Fall eine der besten Preis-Leistungs -Verhältnis-Angebot um.

Wir waren zu einem Apéro eingeladen. Ein einwandfreies, umfangreiches absolut Spitzenmässiges Angebot. Weine und Spumante eine gute klassische Tessiner Auswahl an Weine.

Ci avevano raccomandato di provare l'aperitivo domenicale : deludente . Il servizio poco concentrato sui clienti , il buffet povero e ripetitivo ( quattro pizzette e resti del brunch del mezzogiorno ) . Spero migliorino .

Die Gebäude wo die Beach Lounge erstellt wurde gehört zu den besseren Bars in der Umgebung von Ascona. Leider wurde das Ambiente im laufe der Zeit zerstört, besonders im Bar Bereich. Dort wo man früher gelassen sitzen konnte wurde es mit einer Lichtanlage im mittleren Raumbereich zerstört. Die Bedienung ist mittelmässig und man hat das Gefühl das man immer in einer Baustelle ist. Schade das das vormals gediegene und gute Ambiente mit unnötigen Inneneinrichtungen zerstört wurde. Ansonsten gehe ich immer wieder gerne hin.
