Bees & Birds Cafe in Basel

I had breakfast in this beautiful, lovingly furnished café in Basel's Neubadquartier. It was great: the owner was very friendly, cheerful, competent. The salmon (meaning seagull) breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented. I'd love to come back.

Great atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. We had the bird wedding breakfast which was really excellent and more than enough for 2 people. Looking forward to the next time!

Amazing place to enjoy delicious brunch, the owner is very warm and friendly, food is as tasty as it looks, cappuccino is nice as well, the whole place is decorated with flowers inside and out 🌷

Such great coffee. I always eat the vegan bowl here. Coffee is soso good!!! The boss manages almost everything alone and always has a kind word for you.

The owner is overwhelmed. She also clearly lacks hospitality. That's a shame because the coffee and cookies are very good.

We were looking for a place to have brunch. We found it at Bees & Birds. No extravagant overpriced dishes, just what you want for breakfast. There is something for everyone, for veggies/vegans and all-everything eaters. It was prepared with great care and served with warmth. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy. Just great! We would like to come again

We were there for brunch today and were unfortunately disappointed because the vegan breakfast contained non-vegan ingredients and I then had to struggle with a severe allergic reaction. In addition, there was neither a child's toy nor a piece of paper to draw with.

Today we got a very tasty, freshly prepared salmon salad again: a homemade salad dressing, lovingly sprinkled with a mixture of protein grains... and then the golden cutlery... just watching it makes your mouth water... for me still a great insider tip, in addition to a good cappucino, excellent cheesecake, heartwarming service and a loving ambience...that remains an oasis of well-being...

Excellent cafe close to Neubad. The owner is absolutely lovely. Both the coffee and the food were delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating provide lots of options. Highly recommend visiting this cafe for a coffee, lunch, or something sweet!

We really enjoyed our morning coffee with a super-fine croissant. A refreshing rhubarb spritzer accompanied our engaging conversation afterwards 🤗👩🏻‍🤝‍👩🏼 I am so excited about this restaurant that after my visit I immediately took a photo of it and invited my long-time friend there 😉🤩

A beautiful modern cafe. You can feel how much passion the owner puts into it. I chose the breakfast “The Bird Wedding”. My special requests were also no problem. I have rarely seen such a rich and beautifully decorated breakfast. Especially not in the Basel area! Keep it up 👍🏽

New location for coffee in Basel, close to Allschwil, perfect for a Sunday coffee. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with great pastry options and more. You can serve there or take to go. We enjoyed a cappuccino and homemade cheesecake

Lovingly furnished location, friendly service and great pastries!

I passed by this place for the first time few days before it opened. It immediately caught my attention. When I went back during my lunch break a few days later I was greeted with a smile as I walked in. The lady who runs the place was really kind. We had a nice chat and her coffee is one of the best I had in Switzerland. The place has a very warm and welcoming feel to it. It makes you want to sit down and study or have a goid chat with a friend over a coffee and cake. Definitely a place I will visit more often.
