Here you can enjoy a very strong espresso, read magazines and newspapers in peace and watch the passers-by.

Long hours (6am, 7am weekend), closing 11:00pm. Small place, centrally located, inside with low volume music, order at the bar, friendly staff, outside tables (smoking) and inside bar with a view of the street. We had breakfast with 2 coffees, 2 croissants, €17. Good coffee, fresh pastries. There are vegan options, sandwiches, pastries, pizzas, natural juices and other drinks (prices between €3-10 per plate). Nice view, quiet environment.

Place located at a tram stop, open very early. Excellent prices for Switzerland. Good coffee. It has indoor and outdoor seating.

The coffee is very good; But to me the staff seems rather unmotivated and too cool and distant. If you like it urban, this is the right place for you.

Best cafe and best baked goods in Zurich

The cafe has a charming atmosphere and a great view of the Bellevueplatz, where you can watch the trams and people passing by. The cafe has a steel structure that dates back to 1939 and is an architectural landmark of Zurich. I learned that is known for its homemade pizza, which is made with fresh dough, tomato sauce, grilled vegetables & mozzarella cheese. You can enjoy the pizza as a take away or to stay in the cafe. The cafe also offers breakfast, lunch and dinner options, such as croissants, sandwiches, salads, desserts and drinks. The staff are attentive and helpful, and the food is served quickly and hot👌 I especially enjoyed the view of the Bellevueplatz from the window. It was a relaxing and cozy place to have a meal.

Eat there or take away? The isch Dsüri - well-known, charming - in large and magnificent Herter architecture - BECAUSE THE BELCAFE IS ALSO AN ARCHITECTURAL "DELICID" - with a compass rose on the roundel ceiling... never seen the distance from Bellevue to Rome? Go and enjoy!

I got a margherita pizza for takeaway = 14CHF and 30cm. The service was very fast. The server was very nice. Delicious pizza ✅ would come again!

Got ripped off yesterday. My colleague too. I paid by card and “it didn’t work the first time”. The “second time already”. If your terminal doesn't work, you should NOT use it, but pay in CASH! Please tell your customers BEFORE that the terminal has technical problems, NOT AFTER! 10.80 was debited twice from my prepaid card. I'm currently trying to save for the summer holidays and not have to be charged twice for something that only costs 10.80 ONCE! I reported this to the takeaway yesterday and asked for change, they told me I had to wait a few minutes. You can put the excuse aside. When I pay with APPLE PAY and get a notification from SWISS BANKERS and WALLET, then I was CHARGED, not "Oops, something went wrong", but "TRANSACTION EXECUTED, MONEY GONE!" I generally had a good experience there, but what happened yesterday will NEVER happen AGAIN.

Best Take-Away Pizza in Zürich. Order the pizza at the outside counter, take it to the lake and enjoy it with the beautiful scenery.

Fine espresso like in Italy. I can only recommend the apricot croissant. Top location on Zurich’s Bellevue.

The pizza here tastes great and the staff is always friendly! I love drinking a coffee here and watching the people at Bellevue. Or just get a nice piece of pizza in the evening and sit by the lake.

I was horrified to discover today that the sandwiches are half the size they were a month ago and that their price has been reduced slightly. When I asked the saleswoman about it, she said they would be better off selling that way since they were cheaper now, she claimed. However, in proportion they are certainly 30% more expensive. Unfortunately, with this pricing policy you have probably lost the loyalty of your customers.

The pizza is okay and perfect for a quick hunger, but for years I really don't understand why the staff at the pizza station is often so aggressive and rude.

We stopped in here for a hot chocolate but it was not very good. Too sweet and out of a packet. The place is busy, people are in and out. It feels like a convenience store but with seating. Service was the best part of the experience, friendly staff.

I am very dissatisfied with the service last week. Two employees were rude and even rude. And that in the middle of Zurich. I never expected anything like that in this place. Seems like it's not the only case...Now I know where I'm not going.

They get credits for being the only place serving food late, but they sneakily add some francs to the bill and when asked about it, they get rude. In my case, the reply was there’s a surcharge for late-night (it was midnight) orders…. Aha. I doubt that’s a legal practice.

Be careful not to be lied to like we were, for a piece of pizza we had to pay twice, they told us that the money of 6.30 CHF is not in their bank account and therefore we have to pay again, I immediately opened my bank account and and show them that the money has been debited from my bank account. Then they told us that this valid word was automatically deposited back into my bank account after two days, and that was the problem with their ATM. We have paid a little, but the money has not yet been refunded. I advise people not to buy anything from them or only pay in cash.

The employee pizza seller behind the glass I don't understand how he can work there, very unfriendly. If he doesn't like it, he should look for a new job and let someone else take over. Located right in the middle of square, this place serves a wide range of panini, pizza, salad & Burgers. They have a lot of options in beverages and desserts as well. The staff was very friendly & customised vegetarian pizza for us on request. Over all an amazing experience.

Unfortunately changed from ILLY Cafe to Lavazza, which is bitter in the truest sense of the word. An espresso that is sour and bitter says a lot about quality and preparation. Unfortunately that was Belcafé, what a shame☹️

I just wanted to order pizza. The employee was very cheeky after the glass, made me walk away with his hands or something, totally confused, I don't know if he is poorly paid or has private problems, but something like that is not acceptable, especially in the center of Zurich, I buy no pizza there. In this coffee I particularly enjoyed the view through the large window so I could watch the people on the street. The staff is friendly, the prices are too high, especially for drinks in cans/tetra packs. There is a toilet in the neighboring building. Unfortunately no vegan snacks. Milk alternatives for coffee available.

RUDEST STAFF EVER. Woman was screaming at us for not deciding what to get fast enough for her (2mins?) Don't support this place. Is not fair or respectful to costumers. Spend your energy and money somewhere else.

The cafe's location is quite central. There is enough seating, the employees are very interested. We ordered a full pizza. The pizza we ordered was cold and quite hard. It's nice to have something to drink, but I can't really have a preference for food.

An absolutely great café with very friendly, courteous, attentive and charming service. The team is very professional. Here you get very good coffee in a very good atmosphere. Important for readers: the bar is very well lit. So you can drink your favorite coffee, maybe order something sweet because it tastes so delicious and heavenly and finally you can read what you want even in critical lighting conditions. For me, as a reader who always prefers to carry a book with me, Belcafé is THE café par excellence. And if you love Zurich, you'll go to Belcafé anyway. Because it is very centrally located at Bellevue. So you are where your heart takes you: to the most beautiful city in the world (for me).

Today I had an avocado toast, a choco brioche and an espresso. This time too everything was extremely delicious and the service was courteous and friendly as always. I always enjoy coming here to have a coffee and have something small to go with it , I can only recommend this perhaps somewhat inconspicuous place

We were served by an employee who has been working here for over 15 years... huge compliments to you. The welcome was very friendly, the service was top of Zurich, everything was great. We felt at home for over an hour with coffee, warm chocolate and croissants, thank you very much to you. You are a warm, friendly and very well-positioned person, please keep it up for another 15 years! ....don't forget, it's holiday time, tourist time, they don't forget so quickly! ....but it's a shame that not all employees are infected by this extremely courteous essence of welcoming warmth. I just wanted to pay for a piece of pizza, but the receipt showed 0.65 cents more deducted. When I asked, they said I paid a tip. Very unfriendly staff. Never again.

The coffee is excellent. The snacks, both sweet and salty, are freshly prepared and generally very good. The service is friendly and helpful. The music is often good, sometimes even very good. But I noticed that there is probably a constant change of personnel. The sound and volume changes accordingly. This may bother people like me. They then only give 4 stars. Others don't care about the sound. But whenever I'm in the Bellevue area, I take the opportunity to treat myself at Belcafé.

The best coffee in Zurich! About two months ago I bought a coffee at Belcafé by chance and since then I have adjusted my route to work via Bellevue because the coffee here is simply unbeatable. Without exception, the cappuccino is perfect with a small heart of milk foam. The service staff is also super friendly and very prompt, even in stressful situations. The longest wait I've experienced so far was just under 5 minutes. The baked goods also leave nothing to be desired! The pain au chocolat tastes like in Paris :)

The pizzeria at Bellevue is beautifully located and you can easily get on the next tram. This is very practical. The pizza is also outstanding and leaves you very full. The coffee is freshly prepared. The employees were very nice and friendly. I can also highly recommend the rolls.

Too good to go was not a great deal. 2 dry sandwiches, a cookie and a croissant with almond paste supposed to cost 33chf? Luckily we paid 11,- nevertheless it did not feel like a good value to us.

I have been visiting this cafe for over 20 years, have seen several changes in design and ownership, but unfortunately I have to say the quality of offerings and service has declined a lot in recent years. If there is not enough space left in front of the counter to form a waiting line, the service staff has to make an effort to keep things in order. If, as a guest, I have to repeatedly shout and point out that it's my turn, and the service staff gives me a dirty look, I feel insulted. Otherwise the coffee tastes the same as it did 20 years ago. The other products are not as diverse.

Friendly. Efficient. Because of the open-door philosophy, the interior is a bit cool.

The food is very good, I tried the piadina, the location is very central, the only negative note is the friendliness and kindness of the staff.

Espresso excellent. Newspapers are on display. Counter for service and counter with a view outside, and thanks to the excellent location you can see all sorts of things.

Very very very unfriendly, I'll never go there again.
