Mega cool place highly recommended, just relax and let everything sink in, the food was delicious, the service was very friendly and personable. I would be happy to come back again.

Very beautiful view and atmosphere, however, the food is very average and pricey for what they offer. Staff was not professional and it seems if you are bigger party they pay more attention than to smaller tables. It is very popular in the summer and we go here usually for lunch or early dinner but mainly because of its view. I hope the improve the service and food menu.

Overrated I think. We ate there on November 16th and yes, if the weather is nice it's definitely nice to sit by the lake and if the catch of the day is fresh fish then it's definitely delicious, but with us we only had fish crispy and fries or salad. Unfortunately there were no mussels. Well... They're just greasy "outdoor pool snacks" and they're pretty overpriced and overrated. If you already have whitefish, you don't have to just fry them... You could also cook something delicious with them...

Contrary to most of the good reviews here, we travelled to the restaurant at around 2pm for lunch only to find out that the restaurant is fully booked. I suppose you can still let us know to wait for seats to free up since the weekday noon crowd is probably not so busy but the owner/waiter just said it is all full and they could only let us use their toilet. This felt like some form of sarcasm and was a huge turn-off thus I am not recommending anyone to come here. We walked to Seerose after that and they were so much better!

The food was excellent. The staff wasn't very attentive. They left us sitting for awhile before we ordered and then we had to find our wait staff to pay to leave. It also was so dark that we couldn't even see our food once it arrived.

Great location for a larger group. We celebrated a birthday and all guests loved it. You are sharing the space (they also had a wedding that day, which we didn’t know) but the ambiance is so amazing, it makes up for it. Food was plenty and yummy.

Love this place for meal or even just drinks! The location is great and price is reasonable. We came here for quick drinks around 3pm on Saturday so reservation was not required in my opinion.

We sat outside on the meadow on a beautiful, warm summer evening. Great atmosphere, with a fire in the middle. Plus a fine Wienerschnitzel and rose. Top!

Great meal today with very nice service!

Even though I made a reservation, there was no reservation in my name, but we still got a table. When making a reservation you have to give your credit card number, if a guest didn't show up, I had to pay for it, even though it was pretty empty for Saturday evening... The food was ok, but too expensive. We paid Fr.50 for perch fillet with fries. We were not informed that the amount of french fries was enough for two people. Eating outside was uncomfortably cold. The ambience is great, but unfortunately the price performance is not right.

The chicken wings are dry and everything is very salty. Service is ok, there was a very nice lady, very good position by the lake.

The place is very beautiful. It has a direct view of the lake and it is quiet in the restaurant. I recommend the lunch period with the beautiful atmosphere. There are many chairs and a variety of seating. The restaurant has fish and some other dishes. They have fish dishes directly from the lake. The staff in charge of the restaurant are friendly and helpful. The dishes are excellent. I liked it very much. I recommend a visit.

The food is clearly overpriced, the “mixed” salad was carelessly prepared and was reminiscent of a side salad in the university cafeteria (ready-made salad?). Fish crisps were good, nothing more. But they come without an insert, which must be ordered separately for an additional charge. The service was quick, at least when it came to bringing the food, but otherwise not very attentive. It was only cleared away after you had paid and not for a good 20 minutes beforehand. The neighboring tables weren't cleared either. Usage instructions and greetings, none. No questions, etc. either. The only really positive thing is the beautiful location, which is probably the main reason for the ongoing success. Overall, it was a disappointing experience for us.

I will never go there again. because of their bad attitude towards foreign customers.

The employees are disrespectful, I have the feeling that service no longer wants to serve, the person responsible for the garden (chef de service) served us very poorly. We were 8 people and actually just wanted to drink coffee but they didn't even give us a table to sit down. We would have to bring the tables together ourselves to sit. The service employees have no interest in the customers at all. I'll never go there again and won't recommend it to anyone.

The main reason for the rating was the unkept site with moldy tents and the bathrooms. Even directly after cleaning the boys smelt like an old urinal and the mold on the shower walls and floor made showering very unpleasant.

I've been to Fischer's Fritz off and on for years, always with medium or larger groups. The food is great, the service is friendly and attentive. In my opinion, the ambience is simply great.

Please, why is there no drinks menu? You have to pull everything out of the service one by one. And at the end there is no receipt, which means the prices remain a secret until the end.

This is a popular place to go in summer so go early to find parking and get nice seats, if you cannot reserve (like us). We went at 6/6:30pm so no worries but it got really busy closer to 7/8m. You also have to really catch the wait staff's attention to get your order in. They speak English and with all location and amenities, it's pricey for what you get. We enjoyed what we ordered though especially the truffle fries and radlers. I don't recommend the fried maki though because it didn't taste delicious with too many greens and tomatoes. I think they should stick to salmon and rice plus seaweed and fry it. That would have been a winner. Delicious artisanal ice cream for dessert. There was a lot to see and it made for a very interesting family experience. We didn't even notice until we were leaving that the carousel was not an actual carousel but seating. How interesting. It's definitely a nice place for families with kids.

On April 22nd, 2023 we wanted to go to the open air in Zurich. Since we were unsure whether there was enough space at the campsite ⛺️, we called 4 times to reserve a spot. Our wish was a place with 2 TENTS and a POWER CONNECTION because I have a sleep apnea and can only sleep with one device. We were assured that there was no need to make a reservation and that ELECTRICAL CONNECTION would not be a problem. When we arrived there was no place with electricity. The “manager's” reasoning is that for safety reasons there is no power connection for tents. The “manager” was very unfriendly and didn’t want to tell me her name, nor did she want to tell me the name of the owner. Her behavior was very rude, arrogant and disrespectful! We then found another, very nice campsite ⛺️ with a power connection, where you don't know anything about the safety regulations for having a power connection in the tent. Unfortunately I have to give one star 🌟. If it were up to me 0 star 🌟. Never for ever

Great location ! Service was terrible, however, after waiting 2 hours for food, we complained and it wasn't even heard from. Completely overrated restaurant. The location is great, there is also enough parking space available. The food is poor for the price and for the second year in a row they added drinks to our bill that we never ordered.

We emailed in advance that we came with rooftop tent and got reply it's no reservation needed always spot. Arriving we get the message you need a reservation with rooftop tent.... Also English is difficult cause if they don't know what happens they switch to French or German.

Fischer's Fritz occupies the entire lawn. You can hardly get to the lake without having to order something. And this despite the fact that the meadow is supposed to be public for camping and used as a lawn for sunbathing. Apparently the checks are not carried out on the tradesmen and Mr. Fischer's Fritz can simply set up as many tables and chairs as he sees fit. Such a beautiful place is once again falling into disrepair for the rich, even though the kitchen definitely uses the cheapest oils for cooking. You can smell this from afar. It's a shame about the great location and the ambience. But the food was okay, the portions were small (especially in relation to the price) and the service was quite unmotivated and listless. Of course it's difficult to find good staff at the moment, but if I don't enjoy the job, another task might be better. The Caesar salad was really small. It would have been interesting to see what the little one would have looked like, as it has been confirmed several times that this is what the big one looks like. Unfortunately, it's no joy to come back.

The location of the restaurant is great and if you get a table near the water you can enjoy a great view. The restaurant benefits a lot from this, because in my opinion hardly anyone comes here voluntarily because of the rest: the cuisine is at a solid canteen level with a lot of fried food, but unreasonable prices. Table reservations are only partially possible and the rest are allocated according to unclear criteria. In particular, I noticed the Chef de Service as particularly unfriendly; in my opinion, he had no place in the guest atmosphere. For the diehards, there are various alternative Pèclard establishments nearby with similarly modest food quality, but at least in Kilchberg, much friendlier staff.

Everything was great, unfortunately you can't find the prices for beer and soft drinks on the very nice wooden menu... That's why one star is deducted. Otherwise everything was great.

This place at the shores of Lake Zurich, westcoast, is very popular among Zurich's In people, accordingly is the carpark! Might be a bit crowded when a wedding party dines close to a girls table and family with lots of kids and dogs having their birthday party! BUT you can have a swim in the lake, just 10 feet from your table away:-) the small marina attracts yachts and taxi boats. Service was incredibly efficient and charming all the time though the crowd was demanding. She got a good tip! Food excellent, BUT the kitchen forgot 3 maindishes of our 12 heads party, a pity because overall it is a great place to be and enjoy!

If it weren’t for the location, this place wouldn’t be as popular as it is. Staff is not welcoming and food is not price suitable.

Great food, good quality. Service needs improvement. He forgot something several times, but in a friendly manner. The food didn't come at the same time. After a short thunderstorm, the chairs were wet and we were given no alternative to sitting.

The food was great, as was the environment, but the prices were incredibly high. 15chf for a VIRGIN Mojito, which comes in a small glass with mostly ice, is definitely too expensive. The service was friendly but seemed a little reserved.

Sorry not sorry, but completely overrated and overpriced location. We had fish crispy and fries, which we kindly ate at the tables of the surf school due to the lack of space. We've definitely had better and cheaper meals. Conclusion: make a reservation in advance at peak times and don't have too high expectations of the food but of your own wardrobe.

The location is fantastic, but the price-performance ratio is not convincing at all. 45.- for fish crispy with fries is almost cheeky. The presentation of the food as well as the table decoration and the service are more on a pub or take away level. Therefore the utopian price is absolutely not justified.

Good day Yesterday (05.07.23) I had my 40th birthday meal, which I was really looking forward to! - and unfortunately was so disappointed. The food arrived almost at the same time as the drinks I ordered (in no time at all, but a real disappointment... The supposedly good fries from Fischer's were dry and were delivered almost as cold as the stick I ordered. Since the food was delivered so quickly, that's not the case It can be assumed that the fish crispies and fries had to wait in the kitchen for a while for the next guest... The reordering of the tartar sauce took so long that in addition to the already cold fries, the fish crisps also cooled down significantly... Oh, it just wasn't what was highly recommended to me... It's a shame - because the ambience is unique and the concept with Adrian is actually great! Marcel Bissegger

Crispy fish and fries were served cold. Unfortunately it's no longer the quality I used to know. The whole thing cost over 100 for 2 people and so I will probably enjoy my next crispy snacks in Stäfa. A pity

Very nice atmosphere and attentive service, even though everything was full. Long waiting times, but bearable with a drink on the wall by the lake. Food was great - it could be presented nicer and of higher quality, considering the very high prices.

The place is nice, good location by the lake. It took a full hour from ordering to serving the food, completely unacceptable. The service is friendly and nice, but overwhelmed and cannot compensate for the kitchen's problems with charm. The food is ok, but at best middle class, value for money is not right. The trout was bland and dry, the salads rather boring.

Fischers is that place where one goes to exhale stress and catch up with friends. It's family and children friendly, has a very casual atmosphere, the seating arrangements is designed to enable different parties sit at the same table. The servers in my opinion were responsive but the volume of people and sitting arrnagements doesn’t make their job easy. While the food was good, I found the ambience and location of more value.

Absolutely not recommended for families. The campsite is a party location for young people, which the operators do not prevent. Loud music etc until the early hours of the morning. The sanitary facilities are not only outdated, but also dirty and the showers in particular are moldy. For the prices they charge here, you would expect something different.

The only advantage is the view. The food is very average (and arrives cold) for an outrageously high price. The staff is overwhelmed and not organized, 30mn to take our order and then came back 15 mn later to check if she took well the order. Of course the service didn’t deserve any tip, as a result the waitress showed us her darkest face and didn’t even say goodbye. Needless to say that we won’t come back

Nice place, too bad for the bar: they are not able to make a good aperol spritz (way too much water in it) and, when asked if they could make a long island icetea, the very impolite arrogant guy literally threw the menu at me, telling me that’s the list of cocktails they make and to just chose from those. Then ignored me for another good while. Too bad, I would have even tipped him.

Service: one waitress was very lovely while one waitress (German) was extremely rude to the point that she screamed at us for a mistake made on from their service. There were additionally 5 different people coming to the table, but most of them seemed rather confused or not very motivated Food: good Atmosphere: fantastic location, but it is dodgy that all reserved tables remained reserved for the 2 hours we stayed. If it was prime time, understandable - but on a quiet afternoon post lunch time it wouldn’t hurt to give a better seating Suggestion to guests: lower your expectation of quality and service, take things with a pinch of humor and enjoy the view :-)

Location is simply great. Ambience great. Eat good. Service listless and uninvolved. Bottle of wine ordered, service brings bottle with glasses with mosquito in the glass. He dumped this into the meadow with the wine. After asking for a new bottle, he laughed and ran away. The second service person wasn't interested either. Really weird 🤪

I think politeness is very important. I can't complain about service guys. But the boss definitely needs to complete a course. As a boss, he also has to be exemplary. I was there for the first time. NEVER AGAIN. We were accused of being a group that was there last year and attacked employees. Many of us were there for the first time. The boss said we should go. If he claims something like that, he MUST prove the claim. I expect either proof or an apology. Bottom drawer. When we wanted to order, they didn't serve us and ignored us. Then we would have to go. For some reason he didn't want us there!!! Why? CHEF learn humanity and politeness first, you won't lose anything. Believe me 🙏

I wanted to make a reservation for 12 people by phone, the employee said that this would not be possible. If we get there early enough, we could apparently find space. Since there were so many people, we wanted to push the dining tables together, but they didn't allow that. We weren't greeted warmly at all, the chef slandered us and they didn't serve us, they almost sent us out. I will never go there again. I condemn the government for this xenophobia. I have never seen such racist staff. I will never go there again and do not recommend this restaurant.

We couldn't make a reservation because the restaurant was full when the weather was nice. We thought it was strange, but oh well... After a long wait we got a table. The table wasn't big enough for our group (14 women). After a while a table for two people became available next to our table. We politely asked if we could add the table. That's how it started. We were yelled at by the service that we hadn't made a reservation. The table was reserved and “boss” made that decision. The "boss" - a role model for his employees - was totally unpleasant and very unprofessional. He definitely needs to learn how to deal with people. He cheekily claimed that he remembered me. We would have been there with this group last year too. We would be problematic... If the table is small we can go. He said it so cheekily to my face. I've never been to this place. It was my first visit ever. In the end, our patience finally broke. We didn't want to let it spoil the evening. We paid for the drinks and left. Luckily we were in a great restaurant where we were very welcome and ate very well. Such treatment has never happened to me before. I can only advise everyone not to set foot in there.

The food has now gone bad. You used to get good Wienerschnitzel and Fischchnusperli there. It took some time for that. Today it's obviously all about the fast franc. The food arrives after 10 minutes, which makes it clear that it was not freshly prepared. The fish snacks taste accordingly. Dry, not crispy and smell almost strange. You can also forget the fries. A pity. We won't eat there again in the future, we'll just have a drink. The service, on the other hand, is attentive and the view is still great.

Very nice summer atmosphere, in the sun at a few meters from the lake. Place has a pretty long list of appetizers, salads and main courses, including meat and fish. I went for fried fish from the lake and a salad. Fish was very tasty, even if limited in quantity. Will return to taste something else, and live the atmosphere at sunset. Place, li located near the Zurich camping area, is spacious, with many tables. Service is pretty fast, but depending on the order. Prices, in line with Zurich… but had included the beauty of the lake.

I went to Fischer's Fritz for the first time with two friends on Wednesday. We received a very friendly and warm welcome from Marion. We were very satisfied with Marion's food and wine recommendation. The fish crispy with homemade tartar sauce were very tasty 👌🏻 The ambience is great, the service was very attentive and friendly, thank you 🙏🏻 We will come back in any case.

Excellent location near Lake Zurich with beautiful viewes of the lake and the other side. Very relaxing to just take a drink or to eat. There are enough options for anyone.

That was the most outrageous and worst restaurant visit I've ever had. The meat in the middle was served to me raw. Instead of apologizing or finding a compromise, the manager was super unfriendly and cheeky, shouted at me that he didn't care and I still had to pay. The food was catastrophic. The service is not trained and just as unfriendly. Price performance -10. Some drinks were only served after the meal. And of course the order was served incorrectly. I never write reviews but you better save it and go to a McDonalds.

Extremely bad service, completely overpriced. Location is great, but that alone isn't everything. Very disappointing. We came here several times, but now it's just more expensive and unfriendly / uncoordinated, the staff doesn't make any effort and is demotivated. In addition to eating in the restaurant, we often used the sun loungers, because for CHF 25 (!!) per person you get dirty towels and no service, which is a total disgrace.

I recently had a fantastic culinary experience at a restaurant on Lake Zurich and would like to share my enthusiasm. The hummus I tried there was the best I've ever tasted. The consistency was perfectly creamy and the taste was simply heavenly. I also tried the sweet potatoes with sauce and was impressed. The combination of the tender sweet potato and the delicious sauce was a real culinary delight. Another highlight was the sensational fries with truffles. The fries were crispy and the hint of truffle gave them an exceptional taste. In addition to the first-class food, the service was also excellent. The staff was friendly. The location of the restaurant on Lake Zurich was also beautiful and created a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. I would like to come back to experience more culinary delights. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

The staff is not just not friendly, but rather outrageously unfriendly. The gentleman who welcomed us is excluded from this, he was decent and helpful.
