Very friendly staff. Great food.

Best meal of our entire week vacation. Incredible chicken special and the spaetzle blew our minds. Do not leave zermatt without eating here.

We have become regulars here - we eat their young roasted chickens - that are particularly yummeeeeeeeee

A nice lunch, although not particularly noteworthy - if you are only spending one day near Sunnega we had places we preferred. I thought they were known for rotisserie chicken which was only on the kids menu? We got it anyway. Average service.

The barbecue chicken cooked in the garden was weaker than we expected. Goulash was our classic favorite. The imitation on bread was great. Our waiter with snow goggles was very friendly and the atmosphere was the most impressive I have ever seen in the region.

The drinks were taken away from our table so that we have to move very quickly because they "need the table for the next service" .... This is a No Go and a very sad level of service. Avoid ... Your place in hell is reserved you greedy man there...

Best roasted chicken on the mountain and don’t forget to book in advance. Expect it to be full for lunch during ski season. And you have to have the plum dessert!

Lovely. Great food, really nice spot. Easy to get to for pretty much every level of skier. You can even walk here if you want/need to. Even when it looks busy, there's usually a table free.

We discovered this place, that happens to be a ski in and out place, in this trip and we loved the quality of the food and the friendly service. Those of us who know Switzerland 🇨🇭 understand that it is not guaranteed to be served with a good disposición! 😉 but this place had great food 😋 and it was lovely all around! I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Amazing spot! Totally loved the vibe. But I'm sad that they didn't have a proper apres-ski party on the days that I went there. And when it snows, there's no DJ outside, just be aware of that. I came on my own for lunch and had to find a seat downstairs and met some very nice German people. The food is good here too!

Horrible food. Overpriced. Tourist trap!

The restaurant was unimpressive. I find it challenging to describe it as "delicious" since the majority of the dishes were bland and lacked flavor.

Very friendly staff, beautiful terrace with a view of the Matterhorn. You definitely have to visit.

Unfortunately, we unknowingly simply sat down at a free table and had already ordered drinks. Then another employee came and rudely asked us to move to another seat because we weren't seated. We wanted to stay seated and the employee left shaking his head. We were then ignored by the entire staff because of our food order until, after more than 10 minutes, a waitress, after asking several times, said she couldn't accept any orders from us. The employee then came to us and asked us to change seats and said we could sit as long as we wanted, but we wouldn't be served. Such an unfriendly and ignorant approach is simply an outrage. This could all have been communicated and clarified in a more hospitable manner! Absolutely disappointing! Unfortunately we can't say anything about food and drink!

Great music at the bar and great friendly staff...we felt at home straight away. Unfortunately there was no raclette as stated on the menu. The great view of the Matthorn was wonderful.

We wish we stayed here! This was one of the few spots of Switzerland we truly loved. Our daughter say thank you for the hats and we only hope that if we visit again, this is one of the few spots in Switzerland we will see again. 7 countries in 3 weeks by car, we saw a lot and stopped in many places. This was truly a place you NEED to see if your visiting Switzerland…that’s right. Not just if your visiting zermatt. If your on the other side of the country…get a car or train and go here. Just a “country mile” away (little hike) and your there…it’s worth it.

Great view of the Matterhorn, fast and good food

The Adler Hitta is a real jewel on the ski slopes in Findeln. It's a beautiful place to take a break from skiing. The terrace and lounge bar offer a breathtaking view of the mountain scenery including the Matterhorn and offer space for a delicious meal or a drink. The hosts Ugi and Therese are very friendly and provide attentive service. The food is delicious and freshly prepared. I had a wonderful stay and recommend the Adler Hitta to anyone traveling to Zermatt. Five stars and a big thank you to Ugi, Therese and their team for their excellent hospitality.

Good food, friendly service. The view of the Matterhorn is priceless. The highlight: the staircase from the toilet. When you come up the stairs, you look closely at the Matterhorn 😍

Excellent, fun, delicious experience right on the mountain. 4 stars only because we were unable to fit in at the restaurant so we had to sit at the bar area which had a more limited menu. The drinks were also quite expensive. Well worth the trip!

On the slopes near Findeln, a really nice restaurant, good atmosphere and of course, the view to match! Their “Chicken im Chörbli” is incredible and the bar which allows you to linger before or after lunch offers all kinds of drinks. We love!

Favorite restaurant in Zermatt and that’s a tough choice to make. Food, service, vibe were 100 A+++ !

I happened to go early because I was exhausted, and luckily I was able to dine without a reservation. The staff often came by and asked if the meal was okay. The food quality was also adequate. In fact, the portions were so large that I felt like the food was cheap. The reason I went out of my way to find it and write a review was because of the dessert! I ate a brownie... it was so delicious I even asked if they made it here... Please eat it. It’s the brownie of life.

This place was simply perfect. From the service, food, and the views were unbelievable. I will always remember that feeling of sitting outside, dining, enjoying the views and vibe. The entire time I felt incredibly lucky to be there! A must-do when in Zermatt. Reservations highly recommended. Ps Be sure to don the straw hat they offer!

Amazing views, atmosphere, scenery, food, staff. This was my favorite place in Zermatt. The DJ plays melodic house tech accompanied with an electric violinist. I can’t describe how perfect the whole vibe of this place is. If you’re in Zermatt, find this place and enjoy!!

Somewhat small portions but good

The most spectacular location in Zarmett for fun drinks and a great variety of food. Staff were so lovely and accommodated our large group of 9 with ease. An experience we will never forget. Thankyou

I was there last winter and it was amazing. The staff was very friendly and kind, very accommodating, the food was delicious and the drinks were very good. They were busy but this didn't stop our server from giving us some tips and answering all our questions. Everyone was very helpful and genuinely kind. I will for sure go back again this winter! MUST VISIT PLACE

This place most likely has the best atmosphere in Alps. Nice views, super comfortable lounge chairs, DJs laying out the best melodic tech/house tunes. Super nice bar staff. Be warned - you may easily forget that you came to ski and spend the rest of the day here.

Amazing food as well as views to die for. The restaurant faces the Matterhorn and has lots of outdoor seating. Although we didnt make a reservation, the restaurant kindly let us walk in. We had the baked whole chicken (their specialty) which was moist and full of flavour, lasagne and rosti which were full of cheese and tasty! It is one of the best meals on the mountain and you should take the effort to find it! Its not hard to get to since the run is pretty gentle to the place. Chez Vony is on the left and Addler Hitta is on the right. Dont miss it and make a reservation.

We have been to the Adler Hitta several times this week and have rarely felt so comfortable! Ugi is one of the best restaurateurs I have experienced to date and apparently also a very popular chef as we noticed!!! The food was great! You especially have to try the stews! Location and music are top. A lady at the bar was very unmotivated, which was perceived that way by several guests. She was also very rude to our group.

Lunch after strenuous skiing. Great welcome extensive menu, and good local wines. The bar DJ keeps the chill mood going. Definitely one of the best spots.

Absolutely love this place. Beautiful location, great food and drinks, really friendly staff (except the one mentioned below). Would recommend to anyone skiing in the area as easy to access via the Findeln blue run from Sunnegga. It's on the expensive side, but as to be expected I guess for this location. Minus one star for the one incredibly rude member of staff whose attitude was so poor and put a downer on our visit. We wanted food items from the 'bar' menu aswell as the 'restaurant' menu and one server told us this was fine and advised where to order our other meals (we were already seated in the restaurant). After we all sat down again waiting for food and enjoying our drinks, this member of staff came over and abrubtly told us that if we visit again we are not to sit in the restaurant and order items from the bar menu. It was done very unprofessionally and made us feel like we'd done something wrong! All the rest of the staff were wonderful though! P.s. Have the roti chicken and raclette (although sit in the bar area to avoid getting the telling off we had).
