Delicious food ! Will come back again if given a chance , the veil and lambs are good . If weekend better make reservation , their wine is good too.

Very nice location with Swiss flair and local dishes. Cheese fondue was delicious and the staff was very friendly. We'd love to come back.

We have been coming to the Walliserstube with our children for years and are always thrilled by the friendly hospitality. We cook with passion and creativity. The service is super friendly, prompt and attentive. Beef fillet, schnitzel and lobster spaghetti were all extremely tasty. I usually never order spaghetti in restaurants. But they were a force! Thank you for the great evening!

Fondue was yummy and the perfect amount of food for us. FYI they charge 12.5 CHF for every person who’s sharing the fondue. Fondue comes with bread, we added pickles and potatoes. Service was good. They did not rush us even though we didn’t have a reservation.

Outstanding atmosphere, with rustic decor and spotlights. The service is very friendly and polite. Food was outstanding, I had fish soup and lamb shoulder.

This is the best Swiss food I have ever eaten, especially the lobster pasta and lamb. I had it for dinner two days in a row. It tasted very good and my kidneys wouldn’t explode after eating it.

I would rate it 6 star if I can. Super great spaghetti with lobster, and decent lamb filet. I’ll definitely visit again next time.

200 m from the center of Zermatt we found traditional cuisine but also fusion dishes of local and Asian cuisine. The best in zermatt, we have been twice. Best dishes noodles in broth with lamb, fondue, lamb shoulder with truffle risotto. Cornalin Clavien wine.

Amazing place to eat with the family or anyone else. Every dish we ordered was delicious, especially the fondue and the pork cheek. The waiters and staff are also very kind and welcoming. A great experience and it is definitely worth a visit.

We ordered lobster pasta and beef, both were very delicious. The only thing worth noting is that everyone has to order a main course, and those who don't order a main course are charged 12.5 francs. This bothers us, but I think in a place like Zermatt it is understandable to have such a move

Generous portions of Wallisser Trockenfleisch and a flavorful Gulasch soup set the tone. The Truffle Fondue was a standout, becoming a new personal favorite. The Pork Cheeks were incredibly tender, a delightful surprise. Desserts like Dark Chocolate Mousse and fresh Panna Cotta rounded off a perfect meal. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Pros. Excellent food and service. Cons. Overpriced. And….They charge you an extra 12.50 CHF if you what to share your dish and an extra 12.50 CHF if you don’t order a main course. So we were two people and ordered two drinks, one appetizer, one meal and two desserts…and they added 25 francs to our meal which I found petty/uncalled for.

Best meal so far on our trip, good seafood and grilled meat. Truffle soup was excellent.

Super friendly service and amazing cheese fondue! We were glad that although we didn’t make a reservation we could have dinner here! Awesome ambiance, everything perfect and it is less expensive than prices practiced around the main street. Go to this restaurant if you want an authentic Swiss experience!

The fondue here is the best I had in Switzerland. Loved the herb fondue and the option to order steamed veggies with the fondue as opposed to just the typical bread and potatoes that you see at most other Swiss restaurants. That being said, the bread and potatoes here were also delicious! Highly recommend.

Food is good, but any one want to share the food and never order own main course have to pay CHF 12.50 per person , so people who want to share test the food , please take note!

Best tuna I’ve ever tried, take it with thai noodles! Potato soup is filled with truffle! Amazing! Even though the restaurant is great, and food there is amazing)) when they served a bread with butter, as you can see on the pictures, it is as if they don’t put as much attention to it) A little advice to the restaurant, if you have such a high standards for your food, please make sure the way you serve bread with butter is also on the same level :)

Today the four of us were in the Walliserstube for the first time. We were all completely thrilled. We will be happy to come back.

Highly recommended lobster noodles

The lobster tail pasta is so, so, so delicious. The truffle potato soup is also the best🥹 The radish in the mixed salad is the higher compatible version of the chicken radish, so it takes away the greasiness. ^^ Speaking of Americano with Ice Cube, it's instantly the best.

The food is good and we like it. But a bit pricy. They charge 9.9CHF for a bottle of water and 2CHF for a glass of warm water, which surprised me.

The lobster tail spaghetti was sooo delicious and yummy! I wish I can bring the sauce back home! The lamb shoulder was normal but the baked potato gratin was good! I emailed them to make a reservation but did not get a reply. We went around 7pm and waited until 7:30pm to get seated. Perhaps you can email them a few days in advance.

Brought my wife to this widely reviewed restaurant in Zermatt and it didn't fail. Got a Lobster Tail Spaghetti and Braise Lamb Shoulder. They look good and taste wonderful! The portions were generous! Completed the meal with a Chocolate Mousse as recommended which was really smooth and nice. Do come here early. The seats fills up very fast!

His pasta really has to be the best lobster pasta I have ever eaten in my life. The soup base is orange and has a thick shrimp paste flavor mixed with a light creamy flavor that complements each other. It is absolutely tops. The lobster is grilled just right and the urine is very generous. It’s clean and has no odor at all. Chinese people don’t lie to Chinese people. Go ahead! But the onion soup seemed a bit unsatisfactory. There was nothing wrong with the food, but it didn't boil long enough and the barley was not soft. The price is absolutely reasonable. The price is average in Switzerland. I will definitely come here again next time I come to Switzerland~

First and probably the only time I will visit Zermatt and this was the perfect dinner to remember. Cozy, authentic and the food was better than I was hoping. A must if you’re looking for a dinner to capstone your Zermatt trip.

Wow...everything...didn't expect the high level...

Food was superb! Especially the Asia-bowl dish. We picked the lamb fillet with glass noodles. Surprisingly delicious! If you feel like having some hot soup on a cold winter night, highly recommend it! The lobster tail spaghetti was also well done! The lobsters were cooked to perfection. Reservation is recommended as it’s a busy restaurant.

The lobster noodles are super thick and delicious ~ (it’s also super expensive) and the sauce is super delicious. No wonder the little boss is always asking about the sauce. The sauce is the soul of the whole dish! The lamb shoulder is also delicious. It’s my first time to eat black-faced lamb. I don’t think it has the smell of sheep but it’s very tender. After eating and drinking enough, I can walk up the mountain to watch the night view🌃

The food is delicious, but the waiter has a stinky face and a bad attitude. You can’t use Apple Pay to swipe your card. Remember to bring a physical card. Even the waiter doesn’t know it.

I heard that the lobster noodles in Zermatt are very famous and delicious, so we came here because of it, but 59 Swiss francs is the most expensive pasta I have ever eaten🍝A whole lobster🦞, very rich and delicious, lobster The sauce cooks the noodles very deliciously, ranking first in my ranking for deliciousness! It pairs well with Swiss white wine and seafood noodles!

Sometimes there are many people in the store and you may need to make a reservation or wait for a while. It is important to note that there are two types of lobster appetizers and pasta, which you may order. Wrong, the waiter will confirm the reminder in advance.

I ate the best fondue (with fresh truffles) of my life here. Like all restaurants in Zermatt, the bill is a little steep but for this one in particular, it's worth it. Very friendly welcome and quiet restaurant.

I went right after it opened, so I got in without a reservation. I chose this restaurant because it was right next to the hotel I was staying at and the lobster pasta looked delicious. I was prepared for it to be expensive since it's Switzerland, but at 59€ I think it was the most expensive pasta I've ever eaten. However, since two whole lobsters were used and it was very delicious, I thought that the price was worth it. The tuna tartare was also the most delicious I've ever eaten. It had a good acidity (lemon?) and salt, and the coriander accent was also nice. I've had bland tuna tartare several times at other restaurants in Europe, but that wasn't the case here. There was also an assortment of wakame (European wakame, a marinated seaweed often used as an accompaniment to sushi) and paprika, which was delicious when eaten together. There is also a kids menu, with items that kids will like, such as tomato pasta and nuggets and potatoes. Even my child, who usually eats little, enjoyed the pasta! I ate it with a slurp. I don't know much about wine, so I ordered a glass of white Swiss wine, which I really liked, as it was very easy to drink and had a nice aroma. I was very satisfied. I recommend it.

Fantastic food! So good that we went here 2 of the 3 nights we were in Zermatt. Kase and truffle fondue the first night were delicious! Steak and perch the second night. My steak was rare as requested with perfect sear and my wife enjoyed her perch! We were too full for dessert the first night, but chocolate mousse the second night was melt in your mouth!

If you are in Zermatt, come here for dinner! The food here is not cheap but it is definitely worth the price! We had surf n turf with 3 lobster, spagetti lobster and Schweinsbäggli (pig's cheek) with truffle rice and everything came quick together. It was so so tasty. The lobster was on point and not dry. Love it! Nice Service and Andreas was super friendly! He also offered us 3l bottles of redwine. Would come again.
