An amazing coursed dinner experience! We added the wine pairing as well! This was the best dinner experience we have ever had!

Extremely fine food, matching wines and courteous, very friendly service that takes its time. 6 course menu 190 chf at the upper limit, but lots of intermediate courses. When you have something to celebrate! Room without windows, nothing for a nice summer evening.

As frequent diners at fine dining establishments, our experience at the Michelin-starred 1910 Gourmet by Hausers was mixed. We selected the vegetarian menu with a full glass wine pairing, featuring well-presented dishes and a commendable showcase of local wines and produce. However, the restaurant's ambiance and décor, characterized by basic wooden tables, lacked the expected elegance of a high-end establishment. From a culinary perspective, the menu was less intricate than anticipated for experienced palates, though the service was notably excellent, including a thoughtful birthday treat. The cost, totaling CHF 537 with gratuity, felt steep relative to the overall dining experience. While certain aspects were impressive, the value proposition did not fully align with our expectations for a Michelin-starred venue.

Convenient location for Belvedere Hotel guests. Food and staff are very good. Atmosphere could use some extra attention.

What an amazing dining experience! The tasting menu was exceptional and we really enjoyed the pairing with the local wines. We had so much fun interacting with the staff - the chefs even came out with a special dessert. Definitely a 5 STAR experience in every way.

Exceptional dinner experience. The tasting menu was refreshing and filled with small, pleasant surprises. A lot of times I found dishes in Europe (even in fine dining restaurants sometimes) are salty and the seasoning or sauce cover the original taste of the food materials- but not here. All dishes were flavourful, well balanced and high quality. The services and atmosphere are thoughtful - at around the 3rd dish the restaurant opened up the blindings and let us enjoy the golden hour as the sun was a bit glaring before that.

Outstanding! This meal was pure artistry in taste, sight and delivery. We stayed at The Belvedere for my husband’s birthday weekend and booked dinner at 1910 for our last night. We were amazed by each bite, smell and plate delivered to us. Not only was the meal extraordinary but the people who work here show their wholehearted care and a pure desire to delight. We have enjoyed fine dining all over the world, and this meal was in the top three!!

The 5-course menu with wine accompaniment was great! The Swiss wines are excellent and we were able to try two new dishes as well! The broccoli pan with rhubarb menu was really great and also the stale duck! Experience to repeat

Very small, quiet and cozy place in the center of village with fine dining in its proper meaning. Food is exquisite, very innovative approach with explosion of flavors, yet everything is well balanced and super neat. They have very good selection of wines, tequilas and grappas and the staff is extremely welcoming and professional. The place is some combination of retro and modern which makes it very charming, plus all guests had sous-chef, head chef and pastry chef coming to their tables and chatting. I am a huge fan of fine dining but do mind when it becomes pure chemistry, that’s why i loved this place so much. It’s very much fine dining but done with a lot of heart while trying to make their guests feel like home. Bravo guys and thank you for a wonderful experience tonight!

This restaurant is a mandatory stop in Grindelwald! Every course is amazing and masterfully crafted, matched with an incredibly friendly and passionate staff team. An unmissable and unique culinary experience.

This place is so lovely. Wonderful people host and bring an extra warm and special dimension to your meal. We got lots of little tasty surprises throughout our meal and so many “bests” of the courses we tried. Without ruining any taster menu surprises of course 🤩

Traditional or vegetarian menu of your choice, with wine or beer accompaniment. Very good, very original, warm welcome and warm and intimate decor. A restaurant that deserves its little star. To be tested for anyone passing through Grindelwald!

Wonderful culinary journey with some great surprises

Food with ingredients only from Switzerland was very good. We enjoyed the menu with game. The option of a wine accompaniment for just 0.5 dl is very nice.

This dinner was incredible - every dish was so well presented, so tasty and so unique. Culinary highlight of Switzerland so far. Super friendly staff and an all round awesome experience. 10000% recommend.

Well, I've never written a review for a restaurant so quickly in my life. This 6-course menu is a down-to-earth yet creative jump into autumn with a healthy dose of “crazy”! I would have liked this business to gain a foothold in Grindelwald and to further enliven the place as a “friendly, down-to-earth fine-dining pub 😜”. Anyone who has the opportunity to dine there until the end of October; MAKES IT! Don’t be put off by the “windowless basement bar” in the venerable Belvedere. Friendly hosts, fantastic cuisine and a great price-performance ratio speak for themselves. Cool!

Had the set menu for my whole group as with that’s the only option at the restaurant (and there was only one other table for the weekend night we were there). Place-wise, it was in the basement of the hotel with no windows and very warm for this time in the summer. Food was good, wine recommendation was good as well……BUT My group and I were appalled when we discovered for the fish dish, we were served half the portion size as compared to what our neighbouring European diners got and they ordered the same set menu! They each had a full cross-sectional fillet while each person in my party only got half! Btw, we are Asian and we don’t understand why we were treated differently when obviously we were definitely the bigger spenders for the night (since there were only 2 tables occupied in the whole restaurant). We highlighted our displeasure, albeit light-heartedly, to our server and obviously no good explanation was given. Anyway, food and wine were good for Grindelwald standards but if you don’t mind being discriminated against, you can give this place a try. Given what my group went through, we won’t be back.

We went to 1910 Gourmet by Hausers with friends and it was a perfect evening! The food, the wine pairing and the service were excellent! It's fascinating how much attention to detail every single course is created and implemented. We will be back definitely!

this restaurant has not received as many comments as it deserves, it should get more comments and if you are staying at this hotel, you should go if you like to try different tastes. the food was really delicious. I said whichever one I tried was my favourite, and each dish I ate was better than the previous one, but herb sorbet with blueberry sauce, maize soup were different and flavors that I couldn't try elsewhere. Ps: The menu changes according to the season.

This is undoubtedly the most creative, beautiful, and delicious meal I have ever had. It was more than a meal…it was an experience. We are on our honeymoon, and 1910 made it incredibly special: Run, don’t walk, to 1910.

Amazing food that’s never what you expect… in the best way possible. The six course vegetarian set menu is very innovative and pairs well with the 5 courses of juices or wine they have available. A must-try for anyone that wants to experience the best of what Grindelwald has to offer.

Süßes kleines Café für schnelle Snacks und Getränke in Grindelwald, ein lustiges Erlebnis und sehr angenehm.

Nach einem längeren Sightseeing-Tag entschieden wir uns für ein Bier und Pizza klang großartig und das war genau der richtige Ort. Der Service war großartig, das Essen war wirklich gut, das Bier war kalt und die Landschaft war spektakulär.

Grindelwald significa literalmente la ciudad del glaciar. Es un pintoresco camino de la ciudad de Interlaken, con una vista lejana de las montañas nevadas. Cafe Grindelwald tiene la misma vista cuando sus asientos al aire libre. El menú ofrecía una variedad limitada, pero todo lo que pedimos estaba una hamburguesa precioso Koskenkorva vegetariano con un sabor. El camarero era muy amable.

Wenn Sie nach Grindelwald fahren, muss man halt und bekommt einen Snack und ein Getränk. Wir reisten mit dem Zug von unserem Hotel in Interlaken. Der Zug am Toten endet in Grindelwald. Dies ist eine wunderschöne Stadt und nettes Café.
