Really nice place to go, for one or more drinks, the drinks will be diverse and some are even brewed here ! Just come, and enjoy the nice terrasse, or do a chess game :)

So, they formally close at midnight, and call the last round at 23:10...because they clean the taps at 23:15. This is adding offence to presumption, as beers are at the very expensive side of Zurich standards.

Fine, always changing craft beers. Most of it is home-brewed, so it's hardly local. Cozy atmosphere, always nice employees. Cheers.

Stopped by this neighborhood bar and brewery in Zurich and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere is comfortably cozy, ideal for a relaxed evening. For anyone with an appreciation for craft beer, this spot in Zurich is definitely worth a visit. It's a sincere, unpretentious place that focuses on what matters: good beer and a welcoming environment.

Our team event in the BIERlab was a blast! Pierre and Felix were wonderful hosts and impressed with their expertise, humor and charm. An exciting excursion into the (very different) world of beer tastes. 👍🍻

Cozy beer pub. Everything is brewed on site, definitely not the standard lager which is more or less the same everywhere anyway. Fresh and slightly different beer with very friendly and informative service is available here.

The tasting with Marianne was super good. She was so warm, super open and very knowledgeable! She really listened to us and our questions. The accompanying food was very appropriate and fascinated us. We had a great evening and will definitely come back - either for a tasting or just to drink a delicious beer 😊

We took part in a beer tasting in the Bierlab. It was awesome. Marianne told us so much about brewing beer, ingredients, flavors, history etc etc, she was extremely competent. It was a pleasure and very entertaining to listen to her and I gained a lot of new insights. Btw there were also some beers to taste. So we didn’t leave the tasting thirsty. Thank you again, it was super cool!!

Funky beer stop with a killer logo and live music! Neat place to grab a drink after work. Has some good styles, nice swag and decent bar food - make sure to stop by and check it out!!

Beer was warm. The place is cool and service great but we got s flight and the all 4 beers were almost room temperature.

Had not planned for Public Holiday. So options limited. Thankfully BierLab was open and fairly quiet. Great choice of beers, tasty snacks (I had the pizzetta). Helpful staff, what more do you need?

✨ Happy BIERlab review ✨ Last evening in Zurich, at least for the past week, so my husband and I decide to end on a high note with this place recommended to us by a colleague of his. The environment is super relaxed, the girls and boys behind the counter are very kind (and young!), and the beers are VERY GOOD. We immediately order a Bock for me and an APA for him which fly out quickly, even too fast. So, in order not to abandon our table early and still enjoy our stay, we do a second round: for me another Bock (great love) and for him an excellent cider. Among the photos you can glimpse the other beers available with their relative strengths - those with a low tolerance to alcohol pay particular attention, they are not joking here :)) The bathroom is also beautiful, and for a photographer like me the details of every corner make the difference. Really pleasant experience, certainly not the last of the evenings we will spend here 🍻

8-10 styles available with a great vibe and cozy interior. A bit pricey but something different when you are tired of drinking the horrific Hurlimann lager all over town.

Great place with very good beer! Prices medium to high. Reservation in the evening is recommended as it is very popular and there are not many seats.

Spent the evening there and had lot of fun. Great beer selection, around 8-10 beers on taps and some cans. I loved the IPAs that were on tap, especially the sour one! Small pizzas and bretzels for a bite. Loved the atmosphere, and the staff were super friendly and let me taste beers before I choose. Overall great experience.

Heaven for beer geeks. Brew pub with 8 self-made beers on tap, plus a few in cans. Friendly staff and the occasional pirate of the Caribbean behind the bar. I did a brew day and had a great time. I'm be back to see what's on tap.

Awesome craft beer. Not just a bar, but an actual brewery. The beers are quite experimental and hence there are always new flavors. IPA lovers do ask for their DIPA!

Great place ! I love to come back every two weeks as the craft beers are never the same. On the weekend, i enjoy the live music and DJ. Last weekend they even had a food truck with good meat and also vegetarian options. Great place to have fun but also test unique beers with a real taste. Those who normally Belgian beers or pale Ale like me will definitely love it too. For the IPA I cannot judge as I don't like bitter taste but my friends told me it was excellent!

The beer is excellent and the varieties change regularly. The ambience is great inside and outside. You immediately feel comfortable. The staff is very friendly and competent. They are happy to provide information and can recommend for every taste.

The beer was so nice, that I did not have any hangover. Expensive, as any other craft beer in Zurich.

We had booked a beer degu and received 2 hours of super exciting hours, packed with interesting facts about the creation of beer and, above all, the development of aromas in beer, as well as great samples to underline what was explained! We all underestimated the diversity of beer. Nevertheless, we always had time at the table, alone and in a group! Competent, personable, entertaining and enjoyable

We had booked the approximately three-hour beer tasting including food pairing. Very exciting and recommended. The tasting was carried out competently and as hobby brewers we were also able to examine the inner workings of the brewery. Really likeable.

Great little brewery in a local district. A little pricey, but that everything in Zurich feels that way.

Extremely good bar and brewery. The brewing process is explained excellently and we tried over 8 different varieties. The main difference is between “lager” and “ale”. Lager is more bitter and ale is more mild.

This bar/microbrewery is welcoming and has well kept and well brewed draft craft beers. The staff are knowledgable and will happily give you a recommendation, or provide you with a flight to try several. The beers are varied across the styles, and all of them are tasty. If you come from somewhere with a highly developed craft beer scene, you may find the flavour profiles a bit conservative in some cases, but they are all solid and well rounded beverages. I certainly enjoyed them all. The only thing to point out for visitors to the city is that the prices are astronomical - which is entirely fair for the area and the product, but be aware of this before visiting to prevent surprises !

Probably the best brewpub in Zürich, certainly the most adventurous. Always a stout, sour and normally a gose on tap alongside the more regular pale ale and IPA fare. If you have an inquisitive pallet BIERlab is the place.

There no other place you wanna go in Zurich to have a great craft beer. Uncompromised and skillfully brewed truly local beers. Familiar warm and cozy atmosphere.

It's a place where the barman at night is a brewer during the day. The beers are modern experimental so if you like hoppy or sour beers your at home. There are few food choices like pizza and Brezel. It's cozy. Prepare to be thrown out at closing time.

Perfect place on Sundays to chill and taste great beer you don't get elsewhere. Price is fair too.

Exactly what I was looking for. A creative brewery with a laid back atmosphere and knowable staff.

We spent there a very pleasant and relaxed Saturday afternoon sitting outside and tasting different beers. The staff were very nice, offered us blankets when it got chilly. The flight with 4 or 8 tasters of different beers is pretty good. It seems that the beer selection changes every few weeks which keeps it interesting.

A very cozy place near the center. Large selection of craft beer, both draft and bottled. Seven types of beer are brewed there; the brewery can be seen behind a glass partition. Friendly bartenders, they don't really know their beer. Everything is very simple and friendly. Crafting without stress!

Good, changing selection of local and special beers. Also great for tasting. Prices range from okay to high depending on the beer. Quite comfortable, despite the construction site on the building.

Go drink beer here. They always have a great selection/variety with personable bartenders and a fun atmosphere. We have enjoyed takeaway beer during these weird times but it's no less delicious. So happy to have this gem right in the neighborhood!

Probably the best brewpub in the city and a must if you are in Zurich and like beer. The brewpub offers an exceptional and cozy atmosphere, the beers are unique, brewed with a lot of passion and definitely a new, unforgettable taste experience. We were able to spend a day at the brewhouse with one of the master brewers and experience how a beer is made; I can only recommend this to anyone who is a little interested in beer.

This is my favorite beer pub. There are 8 different types of beer on tap at all times, and you can also order canned or bottled beer. The shop has a nice atmosphere, with friendly staff and comfortable chairs. Food options include meat and vegan hot dogs. Both flavors are delicious.

The pub is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, not the party district. Customers and management act like irresponsible teenagers disturbing the locals late at night. Take it someplace else.
