The attentive service and creative dishes complete the experience. First time in Fribourg and only had a few hours to spend, so was glad to include a meal at Bindella.

It was a Saturday when my wife and I decided to go on a romantic outing. After some research on the web, we came across Bindella, with only good comments, which promised a great evening. We arrived there around 8 p.m. to a full, noisy restaurant with waiters running everywhere. We were placed at the exit of the kitchen, we asked to change but it was not possible. It took us 2 hours to each receive a salad and a pasta dish. Without going into details, the food was good but nothing more considering the price. Don't ask me to be understanding, if I want such an atmosphere there are enough popular restaurants. What I criticize is the difference in treatment of customers. I understand that you have to take care of the regulars but... A table near the window arrived 25 minutes after us and were served directly. The staff made sure they were comfortable, apologized for the delay and all this under the noses of the other customers. I find this disrespectful and not classy at all. I am disappointed and will not return.

Top notch restaurant serving the real deal Italian food… Went for lunch just before Christmas. Started with carpaccio of beef with black truffle shavings and a side salad of ruccula and shavings of parmesan. Perfect temperature and enough shavings of truffles to make most people happy. My partner had the bruchetta with the sweetest of small tomatoes and perfect toasted bread. Second round was Tagliolini con code d’astice (fine pasta with lobster). 1 and ½ lobster tail served in it’s shell and pasta coated in the most delicious, rich and yet balanced lobster suce I have tasted in a very long time. Absolute one of the high-lights for me this year in Fribourg. My partner had a portion of truffle risotto which was creamy, had a bit of a bite to it and an intese perfume of the black truffle shavings. The restaurant is very clean and well organized. Service is spot on, being very friendly and efficient. Will come back without a doubt.
