MISUNDERSTANDING: We went to this restaurant expecting to eat delicious Greek food. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT: there was only Asian food! Dishes without originality...apparently Cretan Ideas no longer exists. Didn't understand this sudden and unexplained map change.

Not understood ! I loved the Greek restaurant but this is Asian food...! Oddities!!! The decor is still Greek though! Food not bad but for me not useful to the city... nothing new and not transcendent... I loved this Greek which cheered me up... when will we return hehe!

Failed. We had to go eat. Closed at the last minute. We had reservations.

Very delicious food and nice service

We recently dined at this restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience did not live up to our expectations. Despite the fact that the restaurant was only at a third of its capacity, we had to wait an unusually long time, which proved difficult, especially with tired children. The quality of the food, while decent, did not meet our expectations, and we would give it a 6/10. Additionally, we were disappointed with the service. The waitresses were not particularly pleasant, which contributed to making our experience less pleasant. Hoping that these constructive comments can contribute to future improvement of the customer experience.

We came to discover this place thanks to a Realdeals voucher received for Christmas. We were not disappointed, and we will definitely come back to eat another time! The dishes were excellent, we made some great discoveries, and the waitress, although all alone and a little overwhelmed, was very nice. I followed his recommendation for dessert, and I did, it was delicious! I can only recommend :-)

Nice place with very friendly service, but there is one major problem: the food quality is unstable. At best it can be okay, but at worst it can be really bad...so it's not a place I would recommend to my friends. However, given that the service staff are pleasant, I would still rate it 3 out of 5. A smile can make up for a Moussaka with a strange taste and odd consistency.

Good food but seeing that on the site it's open on Saturday from 11 a.m., traveling by train from Lausanne to ultimately see that it's only open from 6 p.m., it's a bit of a shame, but the food remains exceptional 👌

Very good restaurant from the main course to the desserts everything is good and the portions are very generous without being too generous, the baklavas are the best I have tasted in my entire life. The waiters are helpful and very kind, to apologize for their slight delay the cooks gave us starters. Really great, nothing to complain about! It's a change from Italian, Japanese, Turkish and Chinese restaurants which are certainly good but too common here in Fribourg. While a Cretan restaurant is original!

The place doesn't look like much but frankly the food is very good. The moussaka reminded me of my vacation on the peak.

Coming from Greece, I can tell you that moussaka is even better than the ones you can find in restaurants in Athens! The service was impeccable, the red greek wine (Agiorgitiko) was a great surprise (quality -price top!). We had 2 small mezzes: apaki (porc marinated- sooooo good) and halloumi (wasn't to my taste) and they brought grilled bread with it, exactly like in Greek taverns.. This was an amazing surprise! We also had gyros plate and moussaka. Both were sooooo good, well cooked, and with so much flavour. It was a great experience all together... Just be sure to reserve in advance a table if you go for dinner. It happened twice that we went and the kitchen was so full with orders that we couldn't be served..

I went with a group to this restaurant. In any case, it took 15 minutes for us to be asked if we wanted something to drink even though there weren't many people there. The service afterwards also took time even though we had all had “quick meals without cooking in the oven”. The gyros was good but nothing more. The Coke and Orangina drinks were out of gas. Fortunately they have been replaced. I wasn't convinced. I wouldn't come back.

Rare restaurant where cooked vegetables are really highlighted (slow cooking, spices, etc.). The Greek coffee and cold brew are to die for!

They have a large choice of Greek appetisers, all absolutely delicious. It's best to choose a couple and thereby compose your meal. You'll love it! Friendly service, reasonable prices.

Very disappointed with the welcome from the owner who 1) skips our reservation 2) is reluctant to let us use our gourmet passport even though we announced it at the time of booking (made to himself Thursday morning for Friday but who, as already said, apparently missing) and 3) cannot understand how a sick baby could prevent someone from coming at the last minute (something announced to the waitress upon arrival) Not even a hello from the owner and very aggressive remarks. Customers with him for ten years, we will not go back...

Always a great pleasure to eat there and never disappointed!

Too bad, very disappointed to have received a Dorade still frozen inside with the result of ending up with an uncooked fish. The lunch service is deplorable, not being able to come and collect the plates and bring the bill is a lot of time that you will need to be able to leave the restaurant, the boss does not take your needs into account and prefers to go to sit on your terrace

I definitely recommend this address! Excellent food and quality staff! Little extra, Ouzo is served in the traditional way! A feast for the eyes and taste buds!

Authentic, a real culinary gem, the flavors take us directly to Crete. We were even able to attend a traditional dance (sirtaki) of the restaurateur in duet with his son!

Un posto molto carino su una delle strade centrali di Friburgo. Offrono due tipi di pasto uno con delle specie di tapas greche piatti piccoli a dei prezzi molto contenuti. Il secondo sono dei piatti quelli tipici greci dalla Moussacha. A ad altre cose meno conosciute. Ci siamo trovati bene se dovessi però tornare rifaremo l’esperienza solamente tutta di tapas greche. Posso abbastanza grande molto tavoli ben distanziati si sta molto bene. Per fargli migliorare il servizio gli consiglierei di portare il pane prima di portare o insieme agli antipasti e forse ci metterei un maggiore ordine nel prendere le command e portare poi le cose c’è sembrato che fosse un po’ in crisi da poco personale.

Very much liked it, especially since Greek/Cretan restaurants are rare in French-speaking Switzerland. The food was very good and the service impeccable. I look forward to going back there.

Nous voulions manger italien (fermé), et avons continué notre chemin sur Pérolles, pour nous retrouver devant le restaurant . un petit coup d'œil à la carte, une recherche de place, terrasse pleine. Deux places libres à l'intérieur, et l'accueil chaleureux d'une charmante dame pour nous placer. La carte mérite la découverte, elle présente plusieurs sortes de Mezzés, des plats à réserver, et des spécialités dès 4 personne. Nous avons pris une assiette de Gyros, et une Moussaka, ainsi que du vin Grec. Deux excellents plats et bien garnis à un prix très abordable pour toutes les bourses. A recommander.

Cela avait l'air très bon mais je n'ai pas pu trop goûter mon plat... En effet, j'ai attendu plus de 45 minutes mon plat - ce qui est juste inacceptable, surtout à la pause de midi - et j'ai finalement reçu des filets de rouget encore complètement crus...

Ayant vécu 30 ans en Grèce, j'ai retrouvé une cuisine authentique, excellente et un accueil très chaleureux. Très bonne adresse.

Nice place, was shown to our table rather quickly. My sis is a vegetarian and also enjoyed her meals here, plenty of several vegetarian options also. If you want yummy food that will not break the bank, this place is ideal for a special dinner without the big bill at the end. Servers were definitely keen to help us with our menu options. Superb service and ambiance, would highly recommend the food and good for kids also.

Excellent place, where you can find Chilean, Mexican and Peruvian specialties. A real treat for connoisseurs of these delicious menus.

Pour ma 3ème visite, je m'y suis rendue avec le passeport gourmand. C'était déjà une bonne adresse avant mais quel travail accomplit en plus! Une jolie déco avec ambiance feutrée, 2 serveuses adorables et à l'écoute, des plats délicieux et des prix défiants toute concurrence! Merveilleuse soirée!

L'accueil très sympathique de restaurant crétois typique est agréable. La patron parlant grec avec des clients, l'Ouzo dans les verres et les Gyros sur la table vous donneront une impression d'être en mer Egée. La carte est bien diversifiée et les amateurs de vins grecs seront également satisfaits. Les prix sont corrects et un tarif étudiant très compétitif est prévu certains soirs. Une bonne adresse...

C'est grâce au passeport gourmand que nous avons décidé de tester ce restaurant. Très sincèrement nous ne reviendrons sûrement pas et les raisons sont les suivantes: Malgré une salle à moitié vide, le service c'est avéré lent et peu sympathique qui plus est au moment de l'addition on nous annonce que les mezes et desserts ne font pas parti de l'offre passport gourmand.... (ce qui n'était pas noté dans le guide). Après de longue discussions avec les serveuses nous avons trouvé une solution pe dant que le patron, qui était assis 2 mètres plus loin, se contentait de siroter son café. Concernant la nourriture, rien d'exceptionnel ni en positif ni en négatif, une cuisine grec ok.

The mezzes are very good, we had the cream cheese sauce with paprika, which is spicy and very good, very fresh. The halloumi is also very good, it's grilled. The mezzes come with toasted white bread (it’s a shame, why not pita bread?) The moussaka had a lot of flavor, it looked very fresh, great! The gyros is also very delicious.

Every time I go there it’s a real pleasure. The mezze are delicious, the staff is nice and the prices are fair. To advice!

Leider ist dieses Restaurant keinen zweiten Besuch wert. Die Zusammenstellung vom Gyrosteller war leider sehr bescheiden (keine frischen Zutaten). Die Bedienung hat uns zudem leider kaum Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt (ein einziges Getränk innerhalb 1.5 Stunden).

Pour la 2ème fois, nous avons été extrêmement déçu par la service: Lent, inefficace, très inexpérimenté, peu aimable, pas attentif...En revanche la nourriture était excellente.Un plate qui prend en théorie 15 minutes à être préparé (cela est écrit dans le menu) prend en réalité 30 minutes à être servi.Il ne faut pas être pressé.

Excellente cuisine, ambiance sympa et détendue. Ma famille et moi avons super bien mangé et passé un excellent moment

Excellent restaurant grec, les gyros sont incroyables, la moussaka est divine. Les mézés sont excellents et ils servent du samos pour ne rien gâcher. Le seul reproche pourrait être le service un peu lent quand ils ont beaucoup de monde. Mais on le leur pardonne volontiers quand le plat arrive.

Excellent Greek restaurant, the gyros are incredible, the moussaka is divine. The mézés are excellent and they serve samos so as not to spoil anything. The only complaint might be the service is a little slow when they have a lot of people. But we happily forgive them when the dish arrives.

What a great discovery this “Cretan ideas” restaurant. Thinking of having entered a brasserie whose sign reads “au pied de porc”. I haven't lost anything in the change, on the contrary. Flavorful Greek cuisine, great choice of mezze, friendly service and more than fair prices. I recommend.

C’est très bon et les prix sont très corrects. Disons que tu peux te faire plaisir, te lâcher un peu en goûtant divers plats, boire du bon vin, le tout sans te ruiner! L’accueil est chaleureux, tu t’y sens bien. Les mezzés sont goûtus, les assiettes sont copieuses.. Bref, continue comme ça patron, et nous on reviendra!

Petite carte mais de très bons meze permettent d’agrémenter agréablement le repas. Steak de thon parfaitement cuit et agréablement assaisonné. Caille aux câpres excellente. Service sympathique et efficace. Me réjouis d’y retourner à quatre pour essayer la formule « convivialité » .
