Excellent food, great service. Our kids loved the pizza, my burger was very tasty and so was my husband's steak. Definitely recommend it.

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening. It was very crowded, we got the last available table. The service man was still very friendly and pleasant. Even though he and his colleague at the buffet had a lot of work. The pizza was very fine and had a crispy edge. The hamburger was very large and the meat was great. The atmosphere was pleasant.

We walked into town from the nearby Aare Gorge and were hungry. Odd time of day between lunch and dinner so not much was open. We found Biro. Very quiet atmosphere. Our server was very nice. We had the pork schnitzel and the cordon bleu. It was okay; husband said the schnitzel was dry and the cordon bleu seemed a bit bland. The potato leek soup was very good though. I thought it to be a bit expensive for what we got.

We came from Lucerne to Meiringen and were hungry so we sat down in the pizzeria and waited for a whole 20 minutes until someone took the order. It was an afternoon so there were only 5 older people drinking coffee in the restaurant where we finally got the food and the plates were cold And the pizza was also questionable as to whether it was fresh at all. I don't think so. It was also very dry. The price was in line with city prices, so you could actually expect warm food. There were also certain substances floating around in the cola. It's a shame to spend so much money when you think about it 90 fr for 4 pizzas and 4 drinks and it didn't even taste good so really not ok in my opinion

We've had better pizza for less money. It looked great, but the ingredients were cheap. The tomato sauce tasted like tomato paste from a tube, the ham was loveless diced ham, and the seasoning also tasted like a ready-made seasoning. The pizza crust was the only tasty thing, looked like it came from a wood-fired oven, but the pizza was too dry in the middle and was missing some olive oil. It was impossible to cut the pizza on the tables outside because they were broken and wobbly. It's a shame, it should have been a nice evening.

I saw on the menu that it had a caprese salad and it cost 3x as much as the other starters. I thought he was something special. Very big disappointment, it was small, about 1 tomato and a ball of mozzarella. Caprese is a very simple salad and paying 18fr for it is cheeky. Bread was only brought upon request.

Further to the venues response: the other waiter confirmed there had been an error in their ordering system which was why our order was delayed. Also there were no other children in the restaurant so the venue is lying on two counts. Food when it arrived was fine. Seriously, this venue trying to defend the indefensible should tell you everything you need to know about this venue. AVOID. Waited over an hour for two pizzas and kids pasta. Restaurant was 25% full. Manager was rude and fobbed us off even though she knew we had two small kids. Avoid.

Der Burger ist durchaus gut, die Pizza Biro leider nur durchschnittlich.Die folgenden Punkte waren aber leider enttäuschend:- Obwohl das Restaurant nur Hotelgäste zu bewirten hatte, deren Anzahl und Ankunftszeit bekannt war, entstanden extrem lange Wartezeiten. Wir haben 1.5h auf unser Essen warten müssen. - Ich habe meinen Burger "gut durch" bestellt, da ich schwanger bin. Als dieser dann (nach eben 1.5h) auf dem Tisch stand, war er innen roh! Dies darf in einem Restaurant nicht passieren, da rohes Fleisch in der Schwangerschaft sehr gefährlich sein kann! - Da man die Bedienung nur ca. alle 20 Minuten vorbeihuschen sah, war es nicht möglich, noch Ketchup, Wasser oder (den bereits bestellten) Kinderteller zu bestellen. Auch wurden bei keinem Tisch die leerenTeller abgeräumt, die Bedienung ist jeweils mit leeren Händen in die Küche zurückgekehrt - Obwohl es nur ca. 15 Gerichte auf der Karte gab, konnte das Servicepersonal nicht genau sagen, was auf der Spezialitätenpizza drauf istAus oben genannten Gründen waren diverse Kunden (inkl. wir) zunehmend unzufrieden.
