Absolutely great! Good portions, the food is great and the service is very authentic, friendly and courteous. I'm thrilled and will come again, also for business lunch. We had, among other things, fritto misto, pasta (carbonara, tomatoes), pulpo, tiramisu... it was all great! Thank you for the great evening.

Went there for a business lunch today. Nice atmosphere and friendly welcome at the bar. Unfortunately the seating was a bit cramped. We were quite close together and close to the wall. That was a bit of a shame. As a starter there was a mixed salad. It was fresh, the balsamic vinegar was great. For the main course, entrecôte with polenta and vegetables. The taste of this was very good, medium cooking level (wasn't asked for, but most likely because there were around 20 of us and we had pre-ordered), good quality, polenta was fried crispy, vegetables were well cooked and everything was pleasantly seasoned. The presentation was ok. The pannacotta for dessert tasted very good. There wasn't enough vanilla coming through and the cream was a little too stiff. The fruit mirror was fantastic. For many, the main course was a little too small for a 3-course meal. It's a shame no refills of the side dishes were offered.

For my main course, I had the roasted black cod with braised fennel and saffron beurre blanc. The cod was cooked to perfection, and the fennel and saffron beurre blanc were a delicious accompaniment. The flavors were delicate and well-balanced, and the dish was beautifully presented. For dessert, I had the chocolate lava cake with raspberry sorbet. The lava cake was rich and decadent, with a molten center that oozed out when I cut into it. The raspberry sorbet was the perfect way to cleanse the palate. Overall, I had an exceptional dining experience at Bocuci. The food was exquisite, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was elegant and inviting. A very high-end, Michelin-recommended restaurant in Zurich, Switzerland. The dishes include carrot soup with bread, two pieces of beef with sauces, side dishes, and tiramisu. Vegetarians and people who don't eat beef have separate vegetables and fish specially prepared for them.

Train station atmosphere without music, delayed service, no one takes your plates from the table. The food is good. Maybe I had too high expectations for this price.

Ok Italian Very nice service, very attentive with water and wine. Their prosecco was really a delight, I should have taken the label! Canapés of salmon and vitello tonnato were both cut very thick and suffered a bit in the heat. Arancini were nice but lacking filling. Beef fillet too well done, mine medium my neighbor's well done. Not sure what explains the variance. Should have served the potatoes straight on the plate as, as an additional side, some got them immediately, some when almost finished. Roasted cauliflower a great veg option! After Sicily 10 months ago, the cannolo was just not it, super dry. Ice cream lovely though.

Once again we were able to spend a wonderful evening at Bocuci. Hospitality is very important here and you rediscover the variety of wine and food with every visit. See you next time!

A well polished Italian eatery in the heart of the city

Good atmosphere, friendly staff and good selection. Interesting and very fine dishes on offer. Original desserts are even prepared at the table. Highly recommended. Very easy to reach, right next to the tram stop.

Totally friendly and super tasty.

Unfortunately, we cannot confirm the very good reviews. The ambience is nice, but the service is extremely slow. Almost 45 minutes passed before we had anything to drink. The food can't keep up with the very high prices either. The tartare for the starter was the lamest I've ever had and I certainly wouldn't order the entrecote a second time. So if you charge prices like those in the Konenhalle, you also have to be able to deliver quality - that wasn't the case with us.

Had an event at Bocuci this week. Very positively surprised! The antipasti were SUPER (super delicious dried tomatoes > from Apulia; and delicious ham!). The pasta dish (with salsiccia and truffles) was excellent... Friendly service with drive! You feel the “will” to achieve something! Thanks; we'd love to come back!

Overall, it was a decent experience with good, but not great, food. My artichoke starter had a lovely mix of flavours however my main, truffle spaghetti with sausage, was disappointingly bland. It lacked the umami I expected, especially with such easy ingredients such as sausage and truffle. My dessert, the fedora, was not at all to my liking. It was extremely dry and I could not finish (the server was not interested as to why I left nearly the whole thing…) Service was overall fast and professional. I did have high expectations and I can’t say that I would return.

If you want to treat yourself, the BOCUCI restaurant is the right place for you. You can expect excellent food in a cozy atmosphere! Top address. Thank you that you exist!

In our opinion, they are not appropriate for the dishes on offer. Solid cuisine without surprises. While one of our waiters provided excellent service and clearly contributed to making us feel comfortable that evening, the other stood out for his disgusting way of staring visibly into my female companion's cleavage or stalking her when she went to the toilet. I generally find such behavior repulsive and disrespectful - it is completely out of place in a restaurant because it ruined our evening there.

In the evening the four of us visited the Bocuci restaurant. Very good food, fine wines, very nice service. Any time!

I like the interior decor, very warm and cozy for the holiday season. The food is from outstanding to ordinary depending on the dish you choose. The artichoke appetizer is a disappointment, onsen egg is outstanding, truffle spaghetti and beef filet are excellent and sea bass is just ordinary. The menu is not big but they change it every 6 weeks. Maybe you will find something extraordinary.

This is very one of the worthiest Italian places in Zurich. Cacio e peppe was really amazing, however they changed the menu now so I don’t know if this dish is still in place. Also their tiramisu deserves a separate place in the stomach - a must try!

Food is good. But for the price point, nothing exceptional. A la carte orders at least are extremely slow. More than 1 hour for the mains to come. No explanation/follow-up/apology from the wait staff. Manager claims to have seen the issue, but also didn't do anything about it nor apologize. Regulars or Italian speakers seem to get a perfectly fine service on the other hand Atmosphere: some nice touches, but generally noisy due to the choice of setup and furniture

Brilliant food with excellent value for money...

Italian excellence in Zurich is at BOCUCI. Very high professionalism, very high quality food, high profile wines and a lot of refinement. A restaurant worthy of being Italian in Switzerland. Salvatore and Monika welcomed us with incredible simplicity. We will return to our home soon, because Bocuci feels like home. A thousand thanks.

Excellent food and atmosphere. It’s a bit costly but you are expected in Zurich. Staffs are nice and the dishes are soo authentic. Tiramisu for two is made in front you, which give us lots of delight. Nice dinner for two.

Long waiting times and poorly insulated hall (volume level very high). The food was very well prepared, but we went home hungry despite several courses. This shouldn't happen, especially at prices like these.

We've picked the place because it is next to our hotel and the ratings are pretty good. We have tried our luck - without a reservation on a Saturday evening the restaurant was already full, but they have managed to seat us at a bar table - this was already very positive. We had great starters (carpaccio, caprese), both came with a twist, and fritto misto, plus fish soup, both were very good. We were already very full, when it turned out that the pastry chef is our countrymen, he came out to greet us and suggested that we try his apple sponge with ice cream. It was amazing... It crowned our already very good day in Zurich. We love it when you can find passion how things are done at a restaurant, and they have passion here.

I can only recommend this restaurant. The food was excellent...the service was attentive and competent...the wine list was very extensive...all in all it wasn't exactly cheap...but if you want to eat well in Zurich you have to be prepared to pay these prices...please continue like that 👌

A worthwhile trip to the university district: The food was very tasty (Menu Mare: mushroom soup and branzino; Menu Pasta: salad and truffle ravioli); the service was very nice, very quick and very attentive: "The wine you have chosen is just too warm, we recommend you instead..." - and opened the bottle that was not on the menu as open wine. This is the high school of hosting! The only downside to the visit: the loft-like, tastefully furnished restaurant is very loud. But of course I'll still come back!

First up, as promised by the waiter... best negroni. Pulpo excellent and the lamb to die for. Faultless service and great food, what could you ask for.

Both the starters and the main courses are a pure experience. The tartare and the beef fillet main course are highly recommended. Expect a unique dining experience in a pleasant “casual” atmosphere with friendly, attentive staff throughout the restaurant. Reserve early!
