They didn't break the movie in the middle. Recommend.

The Houdini is a small, pretty cinema We, my grandson and I felt comfortable. It was really comfortable. Good films are shown, also for children.

It's a beautiful place, partner of Riff Raff. The concept is very cool. However, I must say the halls are minuscule and cramped with poor air conditioning. I definitely didn't feel comfortable with the temperature and the air had a stench. I was in room 2 or 3. For the price, I found value for money to be definitely on the low end, I don't recommend this.

Simply great cinemas, pleasant lounges. Almost like home. Arthouse cinemas always bring out great films. Go and swap the home atmosphere for a change with a cozy cinema, even with drinks to take away.

Celebrated our children's birthday yesterday! A complete success… Super nice staff and a top location. We had our reserved and cordoned off area! It was beautifully decorated and we were allowed to bring cake and food for a small plate fee. Film was great too… Many thanks to the Houdini team

My favourite cinema in Zurich! And they have also sweet popcorn 🍿 They're always super friendly and the range of drink options is amazing. Love that you can take the drinks with you in the cinema. This is how cinemas should be! Make sure to get one of their fancy cinema cards.

This cinema fits my favorite features for watching a film on the big screen: Cozy small venue. Comfortable seats. A full bar with IPA beer and cocktails and snacks. The unique element of this movie theater is every May, they showcase the Japanese film festival. I enjoy it because the organizers select well thought and meaningful films. Overall, great it is a great venue clean nice and nice ambiance. The restrooms are upstairs, so I'm not sure if it wheelchair or stroller accessible.

Beautiful cinema that belongs to the Arthouse group with several screens and a bar. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I saw Houria and "The Beauty and The Bloodshed" here. Both films are worth seeing, but Houria is very impressive and unforgettable.

If you like things small and delicate, Houdini is the right choice. There are no blockbusters to see, but rather top-selected studio films or documentaries.

Small, pleasant cinema. Staff very friendly. However, it really bothered me that 30 minutes of advertising/opening credits were broadcast before the children's film (The Snail with the Humpback Whale) and the actual film was only 25 minutes long! The children were also annoyed and extremely impatient. Going to the cinema was rather frustrating for all of us. The actual film was sweetly made.

We love going to Houdini - even in the bar. Popcorn is super delicious. The espresso too. The cinema is very child-friendly. Thank you very much ☺️

It's a fine cinema place with a rich selection of alternative and independent movies from all around the world. They also have a nice selection of children's movies. At the bar they serve a large variety of tea sorts and drinks + sandwiches and cakes. The staff is very friendly. I recommend this place for cinephiles.

I absolutely love the vibe and I love the atmosphere. You walk in, get greeted by the cute little bar right at the entrance where you can buy your popcorn, your drink and whatever else people need to watch a movie comfortably. The service is great too, everyone seems to love their job, which is crazy nowadays. The individual rooms are also really nice and cozy: there's about 7 or so rows of seats, the seats are the size of an actual human being (also comfortable) and all the guests always seem to be really interested in the movie and not in making a scene or just unnecessary noise. Just an overall great cinema and also my personal favorite.

Good cinema experience. In Hall 1 which was small but cosy. Seats were comfortable, there was a holder for the drinks. Prices are ok! around 20chf for a ticket. Drinks a little expensive but normal for a cinema!
