Dog unfriendly place (not all tea-rooms are). Spots outside + bol for dog (outside) +tasty soup and sandwiches. - had to ask twice to warm up a sandwich (it wasn’t a panini so they said it doesn’t usually get warmed up - I wanted my sandwich with mozzarella warm) - asked me if I wanted a glass (of course I want a glass if I’m eating there!) - brought a Bol of soup 🥣 half full. If the soup is small, then adapt the bol so it doesn’t look like you’re cheating the client! Overall ok but not great. Photo of doggie enjoying a taste of soup

Lack of professionalism from a rude saleswoman. I found a big fly in my sandwich last week. After asking for a refund, the saleswoman was allowed to tell me that there was nothing to prove that I was not responsible. I now understand better the bad reputation of this place. Scandalous!!!!

Apart from the sandwiches which are nothing exceptional, the products are very good but the window does not tempt you. Salespeople not very friendly.

They do very good dark bread, cereal bread. And they do very Swiss pain au chocolat.. With cahier. Now the croissant are not really good. Not one would call a croissant a la française. Service is really good. Which give the 4th star.

The service is taken care of by charming ladies. Good choice of pastries of all kinds, possible to have a small menu at lunchtime. The place is bright and quiet. Well located along the cantonal road, several free parking spaces available. To my knowledge it is the only place of this kind (neat tea room) on the Etraz road, between Rolle and the peri-urban area of ​​Gland.

The last comment surprises me a lot as a regular at the Fayet bakery for 10 years now. The boss and all her employees are adorable and certainly don't scare away the children, quite the contrary. Perhaps the attitude of some children is not appropriate in a tea room. In any case, those around me and I have always been positively surprised by all aspects of this family bakery. Very good and refined food; very good value for money and warm and pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend it, the detour is worth it! ;)
