Excellent beers brewed in house, their Silbernes IPA on draft is exceptional and the rest on tap really great. They have bar snacks and allow customers to order in local takeaways. Great customer service and relaxed friendly vibes.

I can't believe what I experienced at this place. You get the feeling of home, of arriving, of coming home! Friendly staff, understanding bartenders and the atmosphere is simply homely and pleasant. The selection of drinks is enormous and varied. The decor of the restaurant is very inviting and modern. There are boxes attached to the walls with games inside. In this way, even a perhaps boring evening can come to a sociable, spontaneous, fun, build-up end. Highly, highly recommended. The restaurant also accepts the percentage book, although the money spent is no longer as large.

Nice little bar with home-brewed beers on a quiet side street. Very personable, communicative and friendly staff. Inside it feels very homely and cozy. You can currently also watch European Championship games outside. Different types of beer at a good price-performance ratio. Well worth a look!!

2 stars for the friendliness of the barmaid, unfortunately no points for the beer. We tried red, amber and Scottish dark beer...we couldn't finish drinking amber...I can't understand all the stars...I think it's from a circle of friends, the red beer was very flat and almost no taste; Amber was spicy (why would it be) but no wow effect... we tried it, thank you, good luck...

My favorite microbrewery in Basel. Most of their beers are more on the bitter side, but that's exactly what I love. The bar is run by nice and lovely people, great spot for a drink or two with friends in easy going Kleinbasel. Don't forget to check out their weekly special beers, it's amazing what they create!

Wonderful, friendly little hole-in-the-wall microbrewery with a great variety of local, regional, and other beers.

BrauBudeBasel, or BBB, is a small brewery located in northern Basel. It is not a brewpub and does not serve food, but they produce a great variety of craft beers and is worth a visit. The brewery is located near a public transportation tram stop, so is easy to get without driving. The 4-story building has lights and an umbrella out front, and over the entrance are lights and their name in large black letters. Just inside the front window is a small space for live music, which is popular on Friday nights. The front room has a few tables and further back is the bar room. The compact space has just a few tables and no chairs at the bar. The floor is wooden, the walls are concrete, and the ceiling is plain white. You can walk up to the bar for service and to pay for your beer. Behind the bar is a tap tower with just 2 taps for their flagship beers, usually the Rotes (a pale brown ale) and Blaues (an herbal multigrain ale). In front of the tower is a row of 10 different bottles representing their full offering. It is an impressive range of styles, and the beer is well crafted. I tried their Ivanka Belgian Strong Golden Ale (8.5%) and enjoyed its heavy complexity. The staff is approachable and knowledgeable about their beer. My only regret is that they do not offer a sampler flight of more of their beers. Overall, it is an enjoyable little brewery.
