Burger King in Bern

After dinner on March 21, 2024, especially the King Wings, several family members vomited several times. That's true the last visit to this one Load!

Bern Burger King It's a shame that this is done because of delivery instead of a staff where only ordering for delivery, she did both in front of the checkout 10 minutes. Waited to order for the promotion, then waited another 10-15 minutes. For my menu, I think it's a shame that they're saving on staff. I didn't get my food and I didn't get my money back either.

They are disrespectful. I had stomach pain and diarrhea after eating. My stomach hasn't felt good since I ate it. Don't eat there. The fries are soft and cold. The chilies are simply stored somewhere. The cheese is not tasty at all.

Sometimes people don't help each other. Long wait in the early afternoon and trash full to the brim (2:45 p.m.)

A Burger King where you get your food really quickly.

Employees who have been working there for a long time have lost interest in customers. Hospitality and politeness looks different! The food is sometimes like this sometimes... The newer MA's are polite.

I ordered on Justeat, the order didn't arrive after 1.5 hours and I got the message that the delivery had been made. I wish you bon appetit (the delivery never arrived) then I called Burgerking and the man on the phone (the boss) was very cheeky yes, the delivery person called twice, they didn't pick up the phone, it's their own fault, really cheeky!! Then I wanted to explain to him that no one had called me! and no one rang the bell, yes that's your problem, look with Justeat, I no, I was at home the whole time, no one rang the bell and hung up the phone! 2 minutes later the phone rings from a woman who speaks Italian. Yes, I'm sorry, but the delivery person couldn't find her name. I don't know what to do either. I'm not a manager and I don't care. I left 50.- behind. 15 minutes later I got a call from the supplier because my name couldn't be read correctly at the bottom of the bell. I explained to him it wasn't the first time I've ordered on Justeat and I've never had any problems with Burgerking so far and now they say My husband can't read my name, the man gave the phone to his colleague (Indian, Sri Lanka) very friendly, yes, we saw the photo of the supplier and found your name, we're sorry, it's our mistake! The order then arrived and he politely apologized! But the boss of Burgerking at Genfergasse 4 in Bern should be fired. I have never seen such a cheeky person!

We ordered the food home and liked half of it. The Burgerking employees said they had nothing to do with it and hung up.

It's on the left side of Bern Station, and it feels scary. Rather than spending 50,000 won on a tasteless restaurant, let's get it here for 30,000 won. There are also Swiss selections, but the basics are Waffles haha.

Service was super friendly and nice. The food was lukewarm and soggy. What bothered me about the atmosphere was that every few minutes someone was begging me for money. Unfortunately this deleted it for me.

I ate in this restaurant on May 4th, 2023 (today). I paid with the card twice, my menu and that of my colleague. Money was withdrawn but no receipt came out of the ATM. I turned to the staff and explained my request, but somehow no one understood it. Instead, the woman at the counter started arguing with me without really addressing me as a customer. She said the money would be transferred to my account today. The funniest thing about it was that an employee of UBS Bank, who also wanted to have lunch at Burger King, had the same problem as me. He told me that I probably wouldn't get the money. He explained to Burger King employees that it was unlikely he would get the money back as a customer. In any case, I will go to Burger King again tomorrow if I haven't received my money transferred and contact the manager of the branch directly. Even if I would get my money, the employees are clearly underqualified. In addition to internal training to maintain customer contact, I would also immediately recommend a language school - because their German knowledge is well below the level required by the customer. Nobody pays me for the 1 hour lunch break I lost to discuss with the employees. McDonalds is 100 times better than Burger King, never more Burger King in the city of Bern.

Located just outside Bern railway station. Food test is superb. Must try whopper and Chiken wings. Dinning alone seat out available. Table service not available. Overall good place. Service could be faster and do you to crowd you fell little congested. Overall good.

We have been here a few times here with family. They never manage to get the order delivered in full, always something missing. You need to check each item you ordered is in the tray. When you complain about it, the staff doesn't seem to care at all. Today they forgot a burger, fries and onion rings to put into our order tray. I won't come here again.

I want to thank the guy at the cash register who served me really well, in spite of my level of confusion at 3 am. I first asked him a Hauptspeise but that didn’t make sense. He then understood I wanted the kindermenu but I was too old for it. And then it was clear to him that I just wanted a spicy burger with jalapeños. He found the right burger for me in spite of my ignorance to the actual name. That was delicious. I thank the cows for the sacrifice for making my muscles recovering right after all my workouts. Excellent experience and excellent staff

Bern is a so-called bilingual city... the employee at the checkout couldn't help me use a coupon because he only spoke German.

Nothing was wrong, we couldn't scan our vouchers and the gentleman (manager) refused to help us. Rude service and staff.

It is unfortunate to note that the experience I had at the Burger King in question was rather disappointing due to the behavior of the staff. The welcome was cold, even rude, and the service leaves something to be desired. The staff seemed disinterested and reluctant to help customers. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant left something to be desired, which added to the negative aspect of the experience. Tables were not properly cleaned, and there was visible trash in several areas of the restaurant. As for the quality of the food, it was not up to Burger King's usual standards. The food seemed rushed and the presentation was sloppy. This had a negative impact on the enjoyment of the meal. In summary, my experience at this Burger King was tarnished by unprofessional staff, an unclean environment and food quality below the chain's usual expectations. It is a shame to see an establishment of this reputation not respect the standards of service and quality that customers have the right to expect.

The best Burger King I know in Switzerland! Particularly noteworthy is the friendly staff, especially the managers. It is also good that the StuCard offers a student discount of a good 15% on all menus!! Really great! - Especially during off-peak times, you rarely have to wait longer and are served quickly. The food has always been impeccable and typical of Burger King (of course there is a debate about this, but if you like Burger King you won't be disappointed here). What is particularly interesting about the branch and downright atypical is the experience on the 2nd floor: ceilings with stucco decorations and old-established Bernese manor house architecture! Very special and great! For that reason alone, this branch deserves international recognition!

Unfriendly service, bad service, a shame 😪

Today I ordered 2 extra long chilli cheese burgers, 12 onion rings, a large fries and 2x 12 chilli cheese nuggets to go. The order was ready quickly, but when I got home I noticed that the chilli cheese nuggets were missing! So I spent 20.- on nothing' Same today!!! Had the order number 908. It took forever (and I had to ask, whereupon the employee was very unfriendly and said that my order had been ready for a long time even though I kept looking at the screen) Now I've paid too much again!! Instead of loaded fries I got normal fries! So now I have paid 15.- more than I received.

I'm disappointed in the staff. I was there about a week ago and one person choked and couldn't breathe and food got stuck in his throat. Luckily I still had some knowledge of the nursing internship. I had to grab him from behind and luckily it went well and he spit it out. Afterwards an employee came and wiped the table. I asked him if he had brought what had happened and he said no. Although his wife screamed loudly and everyone heard it. Employees please pay more attention

Rudest security ever - mind blowing, never seen in Switzerland.

Very quick and polite service, (mara). The burger and fries were still hot and were good. The restaurant looks dated and could use a renovation. The beggars and rose sellers are extremely annoying and disruptive when eating outside.

Typical Burger King, but a very small dining area inside. There are several places to sit and enjoy your meal immediately outside though. You can order through a kiosk or at the counter, but where you stand to wait is a small area. As for the food, it isn't exceptional, it's about the same as you would get in the US. As for the sodas, they don't come from a master mix of different drinks so you don't get an odd tasting drink, a Coke tastes like a Coke. There is one noticeable difference though, they do not hand you a drink that has overflowed and run down the side without wiping it off first. You rarely get that in the US. If you are hungry for a burger, this place hits the spot.

I placed an order for pickup.I ordered a The Original Double with additional patty and cheese. Instead I got the normal original with 1 patty. 2 patties and the additional cheese were missing. I'm disappointed. There were hardly any customers in the restaurant. You better make sure that the extras you ordered are on there too!!

The managing director works in an unhygienic and unfriendly manner and passes this on to his employees. Absolutely not recommended.

Unfortunately only 3 stars. There are several reasons for this, on the one hand I got food poisoning because of this Burger King, and on weekends there are usually very unpleasant characters that make it impossible to enjoy this place. If you even need security to keep a place intact, that's very questionable.

This was the nicest Burger King store I've seen so far. Very large store and quiet even though it is in the city. The staff are all very friendly and always smiling, no matter how busy it is. We asked for unsalted fries, but the whole fries area was cleaned and we were given really fresh fries and with a smile. We only ate vegetarian dishes (Veggie Long Chicken, Veggie Nuggets and Veggie Whopper) everything was fresh and delicious. There is a star deduction for the toilets, which were unfortunately very dirty, both in the women's toilet and in the men's toilet.

Old guy was so rude. He was calling out my number of order (number was not shown on the screen) in german, and I dont understand german. So when he show number on monitor, I came on pult to pickup delivery. Then, he started to yell at me, for not getting there when he was calling out number. I tried to explain to him, that I only understand english, but he kept to yell. Then some young girl came, and she apologized on his behalf. So rude and unprofessional. Never going to visit this place again!

Everything was ok, people were nice and all, but I ordered mcchicken and probably got free pills on the burger as compensation, so that's a plus point!

Not possible to add a photo since it is forbidden to take photos of the MENU inside... the staff's phobia really goes beyond limits. Terrible welcome, miserable atmosphere... fortunately the food complies with the label.

The food is good, but the wait time to get your food is so long. They have very few people who are actually working at the counter to take in orders and also hand out the food, therefore causing the waiting time to be too long.

Unfortunately there is no table service. It was also quite dirty and there was an unpleasant smell in the air. The food was ok so far. But the burger could have been warmer.

Delivered wrong again:-( I ordered 2 Menu The Whiskey Burgers: one with chili cheese loaded fries (paid 1 franc more for that) and other BK King Fries. I got both normal fries... last time I ordered 3 garlic sauce and also not delivered or replaced... I think I wouldn't risk a 3 time with BK anymore.....

During the day, it's quite calm and very clean. Portions served are quite generous. At night, things are a little bit less pleasant. Food quality is as expected for the fast food chain.

The man, who gave me my to-go order, didn't put any paper napkins with it and on my "merci" all of a sudden said "you have your own bag" instead of even asking if I need one. Burgers are ok, but I won't get back here cause of the service.
