Amazing delicious pizzas with so much creativity and flavor. The owner's passion and love for his work is so much visible in the food quality, packaging, the explanation, conversation and the entire customer experience. Plenty of vegetarian options, which is a plus!

The owner is super friendly and is willing to take the time to explain all his pizzas. You can tell he does it with passion and pleasure. The pizzas are damn tasty and you can taste the quality. Everything is thought through down to the last detail, such as the packaging where the pizzas are inside. Above all, the price-performance ratio is right!

I don't think I've ever learned so much about pizza in such a short time as I did in 10 minutes. Each piece has its own story and tasted outstanding. Thanks, I'll be back :)

A visit is always recommended, and the owner's friendly manner is an absolute highlight! The absolute SYMPATICO!!! For a relaxed detour, I recommend the “ELISABURG” bar next door. Here you can not only enjoy a delicious Butegar pizza, but also experience the cozy atmosphere with a glass of beer or a refreshing non-alcoholic drink. The bar team is extremely attentive and contributes to an overall pleasant stay. A perfect place to enjoy the evening!

Rather peculiar and delicious pizza. Upbeat and highly motivated owner. I am told I'm slightly picky, and indeed, I never have pizza outside of Italy. But I found the shop's appearance somehow inviting and I decided to enter despite my usual hesitation regarding pizza. I can't say anything other than that the pizza produced here is pure bliss.

Edit: after leaving the review I was stalked and contacted by someone from the company on linkedin (?!) with a long message that said with my review I am “promoting bad labor and obesity”. I leave you to decide if this is a good customer service from a company or not. Its a pizza al taglio… normally costs 2-3€ in italy and in Lugano at Staglio 5.-… the prices are ridiculous even for zürich ahahah skip it!

You can notice the high quality of the ingredients, the craftsmanship behind the dough and the passion for pizza al taglio. Cracking crust and extremely airy, light dough. There are classic as well as modern versions that offer everyone something special. Boss was cool without attitude and everything went smoothly. If you don't feel like Neapolitan pizza, this is the place for you!

The pizza tastes very good, special and interesting flavors. Also classics like Margherita and Piccante available. Only take-away and priced in the upper segment. To get full I have to eat 3 pieces, which can easily cost over CHF 30.-

The best pizza in all of Zurich!!! I usually like to eat pizza in Switzerland 1-2 times a year. Unfortunately, they are usually not as good as in Italy. Completely different with Butegar. I've become a real fan here and usually come once or twice a week. I have never eaten pizza dough like this before in my life. It's simply amazing and doesn't feel heavy on the stomach. The toppings on the pizzas are perfectly coordinated. A culinary delight... I hope you stay with me with your little shop for a long time.

Small shop with very unique pizza varieties. The owner explained the whole process (he asked if it was ok, if I had time and wanted to know) as well as the source of the ingredients. Everything is carefully curated. The cherry on top: the packaging. So elegant and perfectly fitting 🍕🎩 You can eat there, on the small tables from Elisaburg right on the corner ;)

Late night pizza call - @butegar_pizza has the most amazing “pizza al taglio” and if you haven’t tried it yet, I highly reccomend it. They have a small shop behind Wiedikon station and deliver through @ubereats as well. Personal favorite: margherita with rucola & gorgonzola with apples 😻🍕

The owner of this pizzeria is very accommodating and has good ideas for new creations (some perfect, some good and then 1-2 that I don't like) so there's definitely something for everyone. Since you can't eat in Butegar, you can even devour the pizza in the Elisaburg, with a cocktail from the Moon menu 😍😍

Discovered it by chance while passing by and immediately picked up a Taglio pizza. You can choose between two different sizes and in addition to the classics, there are also very special variants. The takeaway packaging is super classy and the interior of Butegar is a feast for the eyes and the pizzas are a feast for the palate.

Highly recommend this place! The pizza is fantastic, there is so much love in the detail and you can tell how much passion the owner has for this place and his product. I’ll 100% be back 🙏🏼
