Superb crepes, a warm welcome and authentic rustic chic style, Carole’s homely cabane is perfect for warming up after a snowy walk or cross-country ski in Cergnement. The views of the scenery around this gorgeous little eatery are breathtaking. Once inside the cocooning cabane you can enjoy reading by the wood burner in comfy sofas; there’s a communal knitting basket and guests are invited to add a few rows to the projects in progress. The owner, Carole, was a shepherdess in a former life and she continues to support the sheep industry by selling ethically sourced wool so, if a visit to CrêpeCidre inspires you to (re)start knitting, you can buy a ball of wool here too. If you like simple, honest, rustic coziness, this place is for you. Check the opening times before you go as they change according to the seasons.

Idyllic place, excellent and authentic crêpes. The owner is Breton. The cider is very good, but it costs a lot per bottle (there is no discount between the cup and the bottle. If imported, it can be included. But ask for the egg.
