Café du Jura in Genève

Best fondue in Geneva Great value for money. Very welcoming manager.

Concerning the cuisine, the fondues are very good, on the other hand I had the entrecôte for 40.- with a morel sauce and it was not very good especially for the price. The meat had a lot of sinew in it and the sauce tasted like water and there weren't many morels. Clearly, I was disappointed and that's why I only have the fondue from them. Regarding the boss, I don't like him at all. He imposes things on his customers and he is not very friendly. I prefer the times when he's not there. The waitresses are adorable and more respectful than him. I once saw the boss speak badly to a waitress and I was shocked. If I go there once in a while, it's for the fondues, the friendliness of the waitresses and the atmosphere created by a team of French-speaking and English-speaking customers. They are really great. Nice coffee and the only thing that spoils it is the grumpy, unfriendly and bad-tempered boss. He should stay at home or in an office and not interact with customers.

The restaurant is a typical local small restaurant. The customers are all locals. The waitress is smiling and welcoming. I don't speak French but she is very patient in assisting me with ordering. I ordered Perch fillets, the fish was fresh, the portion was generous, and the price was reasonable for the local area. It’s worth giving it a try if you come to Geneva for sightseeing!

Small, nice, unpretentious café where you eat excellent morel crusts. And these are served generously, it should be noted because this is rarely the case! The quality of the steak was perfect, without nerves. We assume that the rest of the small card is of the same outfit. Fondue and raclette in all seasons extra.

Chefs Table, inspired by El Bulli, Adrian Ferra, very interesting and very recommendable, a unique concept very much worth a visit.

This bar really doesn’t look like much but it’s really a little gem. The staff is super friendly, we welcome you without any hassle. The big plus? Friday and Saturday evenings are karaoke evening!!! The beer is cheap and the atmosphere is always great!
