Went there for the first time with my husband. Quality food but basic, the service is (a bit too much) casual and the place is extremely noisy as it is a big room, hangar style. Also the price for drinks is average but food is pricey. A trendy place but overall ok.

Delicious coffee, plenty of drink options, great cozy interior design, good wifi, friendly staff. The hours are great too, it's open every day until 6pm. Only minor negative is the price of the food, it's a bit much for the size of the portions - but at least it's tasty!

This spot consistently offers vegan choices, and their Turkish-inspired dishes, like Börek, add fantastic flavors. Their diverse coffee selection is delightful, making it one of the top coffee spots in Nyon. I suggest it as a great weekday lunch spot!

Charming café with an always jovial atmosphere. The varied selection of coffees and teas, as well as dairy options, make each visit deliciously unique. The terrace is particularly pleasant in summer, a place where you like to relax and enjoy delicious drinks!

Breakfast on the go! Great atmosphere! Very good avocado and egg toast, dark chocolate and poppy seed breads among others. Pour into a glass cup, I love it! Product from the region. And the most important for me! Dog accepted!

For several years I have occasionally been drinking tea in this trendy café in Nyon. Having not lived in the region for a long time, it is nevertheless the place of reference that I go to when my route passes through Nyon. For the following reasons: -The place is pleasant: nice decor, brightness, cozy and airy atmosphere at the same time. -The staff is smiling, pleasant and caring, we are always entitled to a smile from the boss when he meets us and although all the reasons are there for their notoriety to lower the quality, this is not the case. -The most appreciable thing for me is the size of the cups of tea and the quality offered. The teas from T fine tea are excellent and Ex Machina takes care to respect the temperature and infusion time to offer a tasting worthy of the price paid. Awesome. -should we talk about carrot cakes...? A delight!!!!!!!!!!!! So thank you very much and we look forward to coming back.

Very nice place to have a coffee

Arriving at 12:15 p.m. to eat, waiting in line for 30 minutes to get to the end and nothing left to eat except tiny and overpriced toast. Too bad because it's a nice place. But given the prices, I think they can plan more to eat at the risk of making losses. I left, there was still a queue of around twenty people. No one tells them that there is nothing left to eat for lunch...

What a great spot to get some work done: good wifi, plugs, and amicable service. The local is spacious and not noisy at all while I was there.

Updated - Aug 2023. This was a fantastic discovery for lunch. Lovely terrace and spacious and cool salon. Since we discovered we come every time we are in the area. Probably the best veggie sandwich I’ve ever had with roasted fries and salad, a delicious avo toast and a chocolate fondant cake. Proper barista Coffee with oat milk was top and the ginger juice sweet and refreshing. The almond citron cake is my favorite ever. And doesn’t have flour. They have vegan and gluten free muffins and cakes and lunch options!

Having a coffee on the outdoor terrace and admiring the Swiss architecture is priceless. I loved this place

Very pretty, quiet place with parasol and delicious homemade lemonade. I didn't taste their cuisine but the chocolate desserts looked appetizing. Very friendly waitress but don't expect to be served on the terrace, you have to get up to the counter to be served, which is a shame.

Excellent vegan meals. The latte with oat milk is also superb. The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is pleasant, the WiFi is reliable and an outdoor terrace is also available.

Pleasant place to have a coffee with friends, the Chai tea latte is just excellent with the possibility of changing the milk with a vegetable milk option.

For the moment, these are the best cheesecakes I have tasted in the region. The coffees there are also excellent. Switzerland is sorely lacking in more places like this. Top!

I couldn't have come across this place better. The prices are perfectly adequate for a student budget and the atmosphere encourages productivity. Café Ex Machina is a must-visit place for lovers of quality coffee and food. With a nice, cozy atmosphere, a wide variety of delicious drinks and food, and excellent customer service, I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a place to chat over good coffee or work on professional projects. Best coffee in town run by the nicest guy and his family. Prices are a bit high but everything is homemade, fresh and delicious. Great healthy lunches. Many of the ingredients sourced locally and coffee beans roasted at the back of the shop.

We discovered this café by chance this Sunday in Nyon. Very nice decoration and look. We tested Chemex-style coffee and it was a pleasant surprise! The only downside was that they forgot to give us a glass to drink coffee together and the pastries were good without being exceptional.

I’ve been in cafe ex machina several times now. Their coffee is delicious with a very good selection of desserts and assortments. I really love the atmosphere here its like a hidden gem. The place is cosy and the staff are really friendly. Highly recommended!

Cool place, generously furnished and yet cozy... the chosen materials and colors probably play a role here, as does the unconventional room layout. There are delicious, special little things at the café in the morning. This seems to appeal to a wide audience.

Superb place. Four stars because the coffee is delicious but you need to work better on the filter extraction level (I ordered a V60). The decoration is really tasteful and if you want to enjoy the sun there are also tables outside. Perfect to start the day!

Fantastic bakery set not far from the Chateau de Nyon. The environment and mabiancea are fantastic with great decor. I do find the prices to be a little steep honestly for what it is but it's a minor for what is great, juicy pâtisserie to offer and friendly, attentive staff. Look forward to my return 😊
