Good morning, I was looking forward to returning to Valsainte and we were very disappointed. Our friends having booked with the gourmet passport...we really felt the difference in treatment...we were served after all the people who arrived after us...the portions had a homeopathic air...after ordering wine and drinks we asked for a carafe of water which was refused by the young waiter who did not hesitate to tell us that we had the privilege of having the gourmet passport (so apparently not entitled to a carafe). They should not forget that they have the privilege of having customers...despite the unpleasant comments. It's a real shame because I had better memories of this restaurant during my previous visit.

Out of 3 portions of fries, we weren't able to find a crispy fry. The beef tartare was really chopped too fine, giving the impression of mashed meat which was not very pleasant. The Mediterranean burger filled with hummus is surprising when it is not announced on the menu. My opinion is that you should favor brasserie dishes, it's a safe bet and you won't be disappointed!

We normally visit the restaurant, but with lockdown in place, our only option was to take away. As a result, our selections under "say a little more about it" are a bit strange. It normally has sit down service and full bar, but now it doesn't.Our order was for rognons (kidneys) with rosti and boudin (blood sausage) with elbow pasta and apple sauce. They were both absolutely delicious and copious enough for another full meal the following day!
