With tea at the price of 4fr 50 and with chipped cups. in my glass of coke the glass was not rinsed. hygiene needs to be reviewed

The waiters are very friendly, and the food is good quality, the price is a little excessive, but for a very touristy place I think that's normal

Very cute place by the banks of Lake Geneva in vevey. They have an amazing view form the cafe. They have a cute little library attached to it. The staff are warm and helpful. We stopped by to have some nice coffee. Quite close to the Charlie Chaplin statue in Vevey. It was a nice and sunny day when we arrived at vevey and bumped into this place. They have an outdoor seating with heaters so it was extremely pleasant and cozy even sitting outside. I think this has one of the best views in vevey by the lake overlooking the mountains on the other side of the lake.

Totally beautiful location right on the lake. Colorful wallpaper, cozy but chairs uncomfortable. Pleasant design atmosphere, but very loud (music and babble of voices) and poor acoustics. Brunch: too expensive for what is on offer. (27 Fr.) Fried egg: crispy and fine. Potatoes: a little soft. Sauce: good Orange juice: unfortunately not fresh. Coffee (latte): ok. Bread: nothing special. Service: nice

We like this coffee but we were a little disappointed with the brunch! Arsene's basket 16.- it's totally excessive: a croissant, 3 mini slices of bread and a dry toast not even toasted.. a mini butter and too little jam frankly it's not worth it.. As for the dishes, the egg Benedict was good but the quantities are really small! In short for the price we expect a lot better.. Continuation of the comment and response: So in this case it would have been nice if one of your servers offered us a second basket and some jam… 🤔

Efficient service. Calm atmosphere for working between peak hours. And direct access to the municipal library. The cuisine is always surprising, fresh, made with seasonal and quality products. In the photo, roasted cauliflower, garlic pesto, fried chickpeas, salad and roasted red beetroot, it was by far the best dish I ate in Vevey in 2023.

Very very nice. We went there with our two-year-old granddaughter in the evening with a picnic for her, no problem!

The restaurant is located by the lake with beautiful views. Connected to the library, the lunch set is delicious, and the service staff was also very enthusiastic to help us translate the menu and introduce the meals.

2 times I have come in 3 weeks and impossible to use the Wi-Fi indoors where the 3G connection does not work. No help from the waiters and waitresses, it's my responsibility, not theirs... quite disappointing reactions for such a nice place.

For the price it's alright....went for weekend brunch. Had the eggs benedict, was still hungry. I did get extra bread, but still hungry. I guess on the lake for the price it's acceptable.

We like... being inside to watch the rain fall on the lake outside (at a time not so long ago when it was still raining). The cuisine is imaginative. Definitely worth a try.

Table booked 3 days before, it wasn't there when we arrived! Terrible service

We booked a table on the terrace 3 days in advance. After driving half an hour, when we arrived there, the waiter said there was no table. Most importantly, she behaved like she did not care at all. Congrats.

Extremely disappointed, this is the first time I have had to leave a restaurant because the manager was so rude and unpleasant. An organization which clearly leaves something to be desired because of course there was a wifi problem but instead of correcting the situation it preferred to tell us that if we were not happy we could just leave because in any case it had enough customers given the location of the restaurant. I am shocked by such behavior. What is certain is that I will never come back.

A big disappointment, I do not recommend this cafe, we arrived at 12:30 p.m., finally placed our order at 1:15 p.m. the first bread and croissant basket served at 1:30 p.m. and the rest of the order was never served to us we waited for the burger and pancakes. After asking 3 times to the waitress who answered us it will happen, and 15 minutes later a person arrived to tell us there was a wifi problem, your order was not recorded. We got a little angry because the staff is under stress and to top it off, she tells us if you don't want to understand it's your problem, this person lacks the know-how and the ability to be. Of the 4 people unfortunately 2 people ate nothing And we decided at 2:30 p.m. to leave because we didn't have our entire meal and expressed that we wouldn't come back, the manager simply told us it doesn't matter, there are enough people coming to our café. Thank you for offering us the drinks, but an excuse would have been welcome. A word to the wise.

I'm normally a fan of this place, but since my last visit I was very disappointed! A 4 hours for two. When I ask for a little cold milk to accompany my black tea (teapot) I received it with a 50 cent ticket! Never seen this!!!

An incredible artisanal chocolate

I went here to take coffee and read, cause the view is spectacular! The location is probably one of the best in vevey. The coffee is good, but not the best. But it's a very pleasant place and because of the very good service and super polite ways of the attendant with mustache, I'll come back to eat and bring friends. The decoration is really impressive and the whole combo makes it worth paying a visit and coming again. So, the whole combo of apparently happy and polite staff, the decoration and location makes it a great place!

Best restaurant in Vevey! Homemade, fresh, local, everything we like

This is a very pleasant eatery placed facing the lake with the Vevey community library as its neighbor. There is a good choice of vegetarian dishes and a rich brunch menu. The wine and drinks list is extensive and well chosen offering many local products. They feature several evening cultural events per month. The decoration is simple, catering to a young clientele and staff is friendly and efficient. Highly recommended for the not so formal client.

Absolutely avoid. After more than an hour of waiting, and after explaining to them that we had a plane to catch and that we were waiting with a 4 year old child, we were told that our order had not been issued. So we left…

Very good brunch with a good variety of choices. Added to this is the view of the lake when the weather is nice.

A very good address ! Hot chocolate with very original arranged rum, normal financial as well as gluten-free, excellent. Not to mention the view as well as the warmth of the employees.

An address that I loved but what a waste to have covered the terrace with a wooden structure which takes away all the sun from this place where it was so good to drink a coffee on sunny days in this idyllic setting. As the sun no longer penetrates, we had to put in a mushroom to heat the covered space! From the inside the view of the lake is partly hidden☹️.

Food, service and atmosphere were good, close to perfect. I give 3 stars only because, given the quantity and size of pancakes I got, I didn't feel that was reflected in the cost, but then again... If I'm paying 16 CHF for 3 (7 cm diameter) pancakes, I rather have a 3 nice big pancakes (preferably not burned, like the one hidden in the bottom). I mean, praise to the local ingredients consideration, but I was expecting (maybe wrongly) bigger sized, or at least 6 (of the similar size) pancakes to find it a fair deal for the price. By the way, I feel honored to incite such curiosity on my other reviews, but unfortunately you're missing the context. Referring to the McDonald's example, I gave a 5 star to the specific location which has over-expectations pleasant and nice table service, the workers are top notch, and with the food, I know what I'll get, so no surprise there, in the end I'm taking the decision to go inside and get a big coffee, which isn't too shabby, for 4 CHF 🤷‍♂️ it's all about managing expectations Thank you for giving me the opportunity to contextualize my review. I accept the fact that quantity and ingredient sourcing is your business decision, and I salute you for your bravery. Artisan chocolate is really good

I witnessed a scene with the waiter with a gray ponytail, small beard aged 40-50 who insults and yells at his colleague. His arrogant, unprofessional attitude and annoyed look struck me on multiple occasions. Too bad because the staff is very friendly apart from this individual. Honestly, fire this server. He would be better off doing a job in an office alone and miles away from customers. Provided he has the skills.

Continuation and end of my comment from yesterday Sunday October 23: Dear Sir, I thank you for responding but nevertheless I would like to correct certain things that are not really fair. - I am in no way hiding behind a “cowardly Google review” my name is clearly readable, I do not use a nickname. - We were never asked what we wanted to consume. - In the past, I have done the service and I know how to do a closing but tidying up does not prevent us from receiving the customer at the so-called posted closing time. - And finally you talk about coop etc.. but Sir, these businesses close at the posted time, if they close at 6:30 p.m., we have the right to go there until 6:30 p.m., we are not refused Access 45 minutes in advance. That said, this will be my last reaction, wishing you an excellent week.

The food is great and the place is cosy and is very inviting. The major downside are the waitresses that seem to loath every minute of their time spent in the establishment. Not a single Hello, Goodbye, thanks or whatnot. Took the brunch combos and they were pretty good (they say it comes with spinnache in cream sauce but it's in salad not cooked form) but was missing a little salt. When we asked for the bill we had to wait 20min for the waitress to bring it to us then leave straight away without letting us pay for another 15min (I just left the cash on the table as I was fed up waiting longer to pay than to eat).

A mix of good humor with very friendly employees who always have a smile, with a good brunch in a magnificent setting, leads to a successful weekend morning.

Warm welcome, beautiful landscape facing Lake Geneva, terrace and indoor room. Large selection of drinks and light meals. I had a hot chocolate with homemade spices, the best I've ever had. And the servers guide you well.
