Haughty welcome! I can understand that the kitchen can close on a Saturday at 2:30 p.m. but there is a way of saying things and considering people. I came with foreign friends to show them around and we came across such people in such a beautiful place, I was really ashamed. Fortunately there was a nugget a little further up in the village.

Super terrace overlooking the lake, tartare will be very good and beautiful.

The service was very bad! The first time I came, the service was good. This time it was very bad and the toilets were dirty. I asked for a large bottle of water but she served two small bottles of water without asking! The waiter gave the order to the customer who arrived later than us. and after 15 minutes of waiting we came down and asked where the wine was. The waiter then took our wine and headed to the wrong table again! All they care about is making more money with a bigger table. The table next to us quickly put bread on the table and we waited a long time, no wine, no bread. Extremely poor service, shouting at customers when they ask for it. We waited about ten minutes and no one brought a dessert order. The food was very good but the service was really bad.

The perch fillet offered at 50CHF/person is clearly too expensive for the portion offered. We selected the address on Google for its good value for money, which we did not find at the Rendez-Vous. Thanks to the youth team for the quick service. The 2 Ambassadors of Alsatian Gastronomy passed on Sunday May 28, 2023. I follow up on your response, and inform you that the “Pleasure to see you again” will not be shared because the tourist tax was considered indecent for us. Next time, if your menu offers the dish for 42CHF, don’t offer 50€ for the small portion… Rest assured, we are fervent defenders of the short circuit and fresh products, so we are aware of the reasonable costs that this entails.

A very good restaurant, well placed on the shores of Lake Geneva, with a pretty, very rustic decoration. A very good local menu, well-cooked dishes and very helpful staff.

Super good lake perch fillets...crispy fries...small lion's tooth salad with soft-boiled egg. ....nice frame

All the food here is excellent. Really! The service is always good. The prices are very appropriate for the region, and especially for the quality of the food/service. Would recommend to anyone who appreciates good local food and wine, fished from the lake and grown in the vineyards.

Very nice discovery. We took advantage of the proximity of Lake Geneva to taste fish from the lake. A subtly seasoned féra tartare as a starter, then just excellent fillets of perch meunière. I look forward to returning there in the summer to enjoy the terrace.

Amazing garden and cheese/meat boards.

Small restaurant that doesn't look like much when you enter, but the welcome is wonderful. Small terrace accessible by a small staircase, not necessarily practical, but once there, what a view! The menu with lake products, therefore fresh. Well presented, it is simple and effective for a quiet lunch, depending on the number of people and discussions at the tables or it can quickly become noisy. But the view helps us forget that.

Perfect kitchen! The trout tartare is a marvel! Restaurant renowned for trout from our lake. Very fair prices given the quality on our plates! Service by charming and smiling young ladies. Exceptional view of the lake. We forget the cantonal road just below. Small terrace upstairs so don't forget to book! Take a little wool just in case. Parking spaces along the lake road. Pretty village of St Saphorin to visit up high.

Not a nice experience. No food and service is not welcome

The setting is beautiful although the staff were hesitant to let us go upstairs even though all the tables were free. The beer was good, BUT charging 5.80chf to pour 50cl of Denner citrus in front of us at 25ctm for 1.5L is literally a scam. And responding “well it’s Switzerland” when the absurdity of the thing is pointed out is in no way a valid reason.

Perfect for eating fish from Lake Geneva, friendly service in an idyllic setting! Adequate budget to plan on the other hand.

Disappointed with our visit!! We celebrated a birthday, the cuisine is ok... it's not the most economical so fortunately too. For 8 people we got out for 600.- (aperitifs, main courses, desserts, drinks, bottles of wine, digestive several rounds...) everything was charged down to the slightest extra!! Too bad at the commercial and loyalty level, we simply won't come back to you again. For the service, the staff is very friendly, despite some shortcomings, which could have been secondary but which are therefore added. We notice a lack of possible decision-making by the staff unfortunately, so it seems that the problem comes from the boss. Kind regards, best regards.

Very nice location with lake view, and good dishes. We had tartare de fera, filet de perch, vegetarian bowl, and citron tartlette. Very positive experience. We suggest to book a table in the terrace.

We reserved a table for 7 people and asked to be on the terraces. When we arrived, the staff placed us at the side of the road in the alley adjacent to the restaurant. And later we noticed that there is usually no table in the place where we were placed. Very long service between dishes and excessive prices for some. Disappointed with the reception of the restaurant.

After a 4 hour drive from Zurich I was looking forward to a nice meal. However I was met with a cold reception. Merely asking for a menu disturbed the staff. An annoyed and exasperated expression in the server's tone made me feel unwelcomed, especially as a tourist.

Cold welcome, and not very warm.. a feeling of being disturbed, 2 free tables on the terrace but according to the staff, it is full. However, the apple pie, the coffee and the setting are superb... unfortunately the harsh welcome leads us to believe that the Café du raisin has become... dry 🤷🏻‍♂️

An excellent lunch on the small terrace tasted great. The service was also very friendly. Three days later I repeated the trip to Lake Geneva. This time all the seats on the terrace were already reserved. The spot under an advertising-free parasol in the pretty alley was also inviting. Everything was fine again! The narrow staircase to the terrace is unique. A table reservation is recommended.

Path no. 113 leads exactly in front of the restaurant. The lunch was good but the service was discreet. I would recommend more attention to the customer's needs regarding food allergies. Price in the norm for the region. If you come by train the time interval is approximately 30 minutes.

Nous avions prévu une balade en moto avec un tour complet du lac leman, et pour manger nous avons choisi ce petit restaurant, conseillé par un collègue.Rien à redire, accueil sympathique, cuisine délicieuse et gourmande.Nous conseillons très fortement.Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

This restaurant will awaken your senses. First, it will make you salivate with anticipation. In fact, we waited more than an hour to be served! Fortunately, it was delicious (especially the lake fish with white butter sauce). In addition, your eyes will be able to enjoy an extraordinary view of the lake but your ears will suffer from the noise of the cars given the positioning of the terrace (close to the road). In the end, we were a little hungry because we didn't take the risk of having desserts (which were really tempting) for fear of waiting another 1 hour.

Giovedì scorso siamo stati a cena in questo simpatico ristorante situato proprio sul lago con vista panoramica dalla terrazza. Propone una cucina soprattutto di pesce di lago, ma anche alcuni piatti di carne. Dopo aver scelto il vino, un ottimo Saint-Saphorin (Chasselas) "Les Bourraches" 2019, Cave Mayor di vevey (VD), e aver degustato un'insalata mista come entrée, abbiamo assaportato i piatti principali, un pesce persico al burro con patate al vapore e verdure e un filetto di luccio con salsa di gamberetti e patate fritte (patate fresche e non surgelate!), entrambi ottimi. Infine i dolci, una pera in camicia con crumble e gelato alla vaniglia e un sorbetto all'arancia rossa e mela verde, anch'essi molto buoni. Un'acqua e due caffè completano una bella cena, conto ahimè molto caro, sui 162 CHF in due, ma purtroppo rientra nella media svizzera. Servizio cortese, bellissima vista panoramica e ottimo cibo, ci riteniamo comunque molto soddisfatti e consigliamo sicuramente il locale.

Avons passé une soirée merveilleuse sur la terrasse le soir du 24 juillet dernier. Les plats ont étés excellents. Le service a été impeccable et le personnel d'une gentillesse hors norme. Soirée exceptionnelle. Je recommande vivement.

Für uns nicht Französisch sprechende oder zu lesen fähige ein Segen der Deutschsprechende Kellner aber auch die Kellnerin mit perfektem Englisch haben uns sehr geholfen. Lage am See sehr schön bis auf die Hauptstraße und die Bahn. Die Egli hab ich dort schon vor 7 Jahren genossen. Qualität immer noch super sowie die Preise für Österreichische Verhältnisse hoch. 1Glas Wein 2*Egli mit den dünnen Pommes und 1 Salat, dann noch Nachspeise für 1Person und 2 Café 130€. Ist hier aber normal, dafür keine Mallorca Touristen gerne wiederAH Ja unbedingt Reservieren

Idyllischer Ort mit schöner Weitsicht, freundliche Bedienung, Ort auch zum chillen

Alors que je réservais la semaine dernière pour hier, le serveur s'était trompé de semaine. Heureusement, j'ai rappelé. Téléphoné hier matin pour une table sur la terrasse. A notre arrivée, table extérieure mais...dans la rue, donc retour au restaurant. Planchette du raisin: très correcte avec bon pain frais, donc beaucoup de miettes. Nous mangerons tout le repas avec celles-ci. Filets de perche corrects, sans plus. La disposition des filet laissait à désirer. Salade verte très grossière, donc difficile à manger avec la fourchette. Bref, il manque cruellement de soins depuis l'arrivée du COVID. Très , très déçue...Dominique

Das verwinkelte Gebäude enthält viele verschiedene Sitzplätze, sei es auf der kleinen Zufahrtsstrasse nach St. Saphorin, im Parterre oder 1. Stock und auf der einmalig schönen Terrasse mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht auf den Genfersee. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, vor allem die Filet de Perche sind einsame Spitze. Der Wein aus der unmittelbaren Gegend schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Die Bedienung ist freundlich und die Preise angemessen. Es hat einige Parkplätze vor dem Restaurant. Eine Reservation wird empfohlen.

Petit resto local qui ne cible pas la masse touristique. Les poissons sont du lac fraîchement pêché !! La gérante et ses serveurs sont à vos bons soins et de bon conseils concernant leur cuisine. Le brochet est délicieux.

Vous arrivez à pied après une balade jonchant un paysage sinueux que sont les vignes. Vous descendez la pente, mais à bout de souffle, il faut la remonter. Un havre de paix se cache très à côté du lac, malgré un flanc au côté de la route. Bouffée d'air en fin de journée avec un couché de soleil qui s'éteint entre lac et montagne, une planche de viande séchée et tomme du terroir assortie d'un saint-saphorin blanc, d'un Dézaley ou d'un calamin. Autrement, une belle assiette de poisson. Je ne vend pas. Je contemple. Bien aux prochains.

Lovely small restaurant. Friendly service and atmosphere. You will often find fresh lake fish (a treat nowadays). The wine list is very decent too. It also has a garden and a roof terrace.

Juste en bordure de la route un petit bistrot fort sympathique et accueillant. S'il y a encore de la place monter sur la minuscule terrasse et admirez la vue sur le lac en prenant l'apéro avant de vous délecter du filets de perche accompagné de pommes allumettes. Un plaisir à partager

Absolutely beautiful definitely seek this place out! Myself and my husband were driving around lake Geneva for the day and pulled into this tiny little place. There are a handful of lovely houses and cafe du raisin at the front overlooking the lake. We decided to try here before returning to Geneva! Surprisingly they had a Buddha bowl which was completely vegan and one of the best Buddha bowls I've ever tasted! The service was lovely and such a beautiful setting I didn't want to leave!!

Ein armer Kerl versuchte, alles in den Griff zu bekommen, er raste und schwitzte ständig, während unten eine Frau ohne allzu große Anstrengung einfach nur da zu sein schien. Die obere Terrasse ist schön, aber man muss die Treppe hinter der Tür und der Bar nehmen, also waren wir uns ein paar Minuten nicht sicher, ob wir dorthin dürfen oder nicht. Vielleicht war es nur ein falscher Zeitpunkt, aber es dauert ungefähr 15 Minuten, um zwei Gläser Wein zu bekommen. Der Wein selbst war nicht schlecht, aber nicht außergewöhnlich imo.

Wir nahmen den Zug von Vevey nach Chexbres, gingen an einem schönen sonnigen Tag durch die Weinberge nach Rivaz und weiter nach Saint Saphorin, wo wir zufällig das Cafe du Raisin entdeckten. Wir hatten das Glück, einen Platz zu bekommen und würden Ihnen empfehlen, im Voraus zu reservieren.Was für eine schöne Entdeckung, ein schönes Landrestaurant mit Terrasse, Seeblick, eine gute Mittagskarte und mit gutem lokalen Essen und Weinen mit einer freundlichen Begrüßung und freundlichem Service.Wir würden wiederkommen und wir werden es unseren Freunden empfehlen.

Be sure to sit on the terrace upstairs. It's well shaded and the view is incredible. The French fries that accompanied each meal were delicious and the beef was my favorite.

Depuis l'apéritif sur la terrasse avec vue sur le lac Léman jusqu'à la fin du repas dans une salle originalement décorée, tout s'est très bien passé. Le service est fait avec humour et compétence, et les mets sont délicieux.

Un joyaux découvert par hasard au terme d'une magnifique ballade de cully à St Saphorain. Nous y sommes retournés pour dîner. Accueil fabuleux famial. Une carte réduite cela dit succulente. Des mets délicieux notamment la côte de bœuf digne d'un restaurant étoile. L'une des meilleures que j'ai dégusté.

Jolie terrasse, vue sublime malgré la proximité de la route. Service sympathique et agréable, rapide également. Les filets de perche étaient excellents, avec ou sans échalottes. Amandine aux abricots excellente pour le dessert.
