Caffé Handelshof in Zürich

The Caffé Handelshof is a real gem in the city! I am always impressed by the atmosphere and the quality of the food and drinks. The ambience is inviting and cozy, with a charming touch of nostalgia. The furnishings are tasteful and give the café a unique character. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, especially the owner Zoja Halili. She always has a smile on her face and cares about everyone and everything. The selection of food and drinks is large and varied. I can only warmly recommend the Caffé Handelshof. It's the perfect place for a cozy morning coffee, a relaxed lunch or a delicious snack in between ;-)

The cappuccino was good, there was also a glass of water with it. The service was ok. The chocolate cake was very tasty. The location is good. Also has outdoor seating.

The staff were nice but a bit incompetent. We waited for half an eternity for our food: a frozen lasagne for a whopping 18.50, and a couple of slices of toast with almost nothing in it (cheap sliced ​​cheese). The lasagna contained a hair and clothes lint. In the end, the incorrect amount was charged and not corrected upon request. Kind regards and see you next time.

We liked this cafe a lot! Very friendly waiters, fast service, tasty food and coffee. Cappuccino was aromatic, without bitterness, jasmine tea was real and fragrant. Piadine with melted cheese and ham paires great with coffee. Yes, it is expensive, like everything in Zurich, but it is a money well spent.

Nicely furnished inside, not really pleasant outside next to a busy street. Staff correct - friendly. Prices are absolutely okay for Zurich and by no means too high.

My family and I spent several mornings there. We had a great time wonderful service everybody was so friendly it was unbelievable. We struck up many conversations and I will return and I would recommend this to others. Totally splendid environment and food. Many thanks that we found this!

Nice cafe, pretty fine espresso, served with a glass of water, that's good. The ambience is pleasant. A glass of Coca Cola is only available in the size of 5 DL. Near Globus, so pretty centrally located.

The café has a really nice & clean appearance. The service was very nice. Unfortunately, we didn't feel the price-performance ratio was adequate as the desserts are quite small for a higher price. Nevertheless, the lemon cake & the cinnamon roll, as well as the cappuccino and black tea were delicious.

We were in Zurich today and came to this café unplanned. We drank a latte macchiato and ate very delicious cakes😋. Very friendly and attentive service👌

The "Breakfast 1" was a big disappointment. Very small rolls and croissants. Mini glass of orange juice and modest Birchermüesli. All in all, not a satisfactory breakfast. 🙁 Coffee was tasteful.

Overall a nice restaurant and friendly service. However, the portions were really small for the price. I definitely can't recommend it for breakfast.

I would prefer not to do a review, otherwise this cafe will be completely overcrowded in the near future. But everything in the cafe was simply outstanding. Service top, Food very nicely prepared, tasted great. Everything was right!! We will be back. Finally a very good cafe without the crowded tourist rush.

Nice owner and a fairly clean facility. However, I found it very disappointing that the portion was very small for the price and that the service was very slow. We ordered piadinas and a nut salad with egg. Both dishes were simple. Salad was a normal portion, piadinas were two pieces. Unfortunately it took about 25-30 minutes to get this. Somehow incomprehensible.

The owner is so friendly and really takes care of her customers and the place. It’s been around for 16 years. Food and coffee is perfect and definitely recommend for breakfast!

Location, the music and the design are great (3 stars for that). Unfortunately the service is not good, you have to wait long time for your order and the breakfast is disappointing.. :( won't come again. So sad, because the atmosphere was very pleasant.
