When I was in Locarno for work, I found the restaurant on the internet and went there for dinner that evening. The food was so good and the staff so friendly that we went there three more evenings. Good selection of dishes and fresh, fine products. Recommended!

I went there for the first time tonight, good pizza, but disorganized, rude, uncivilized and disrespectful staff towards customers. We came here because it advertised gluten free pizza, prices here are reasonable, but let down by service. We visited during the film festival and they were rushed off their feet. And while I feel bad, slow service should not be an issue as they should know by now how busy it could be. We had 2 hours 20 minutes before our film when we arrived, but service was so slow we missed the first 20 minutes of the film and had to stand to watch it as all seats had gone.

We came to test the gluten free pizza. The dough was OK but I was very disappointed that both the mushrooms and asparagus came from a can. In addition, there were only 2 asparagus stalks on the pizza and that for 21 CHF plus 2.50 CHF for the gluten-free option. Unfortunately it doesn't fit at all. The service was also totally overwhelmed, delivered the wrong food and drinks to us and the neighboring tables several times and was totally hectic. Nobody spoke German or English there. Everything is only in Italian. Nice atmosphere in the garden with stone tables and private parking space. But unfortunately I can't recommend it.

It's really simple and quite reasonable price wise. My lamb chops were perfectly cooked (pink) however (I didn't expect that) so I was pleasantly surprised. Goes to show how a mostly pizza and pasta place can actually serve up good meat. I loved the hot oil which I think was onions infused in chili oil.

Upstairs in Locarno is a nice hidden restaurant, where you can eat delicious food for a normal price. Also suitable for taking children along. There is a small playground with a swing. Service is friendly and fast!
