Good Pizza and Schneider Weizen.

I am on the terrace of PIZZERIA Campione. It's a great Italian restaurant in Gwatt near Thun in the canton of BERN. I'm very happy with the drink and, above all, the quiet location with a nice section of the terrace. The prices here are very reasonable and there is also a large selection of all dishes. I will definitely come back to this restaurant because I feel comfortable here and I admire the nice staff.

The location is easy to reach but there is no special view. Anyone who comes here comes for food. The pizzas are generally very good! The portions are generally generous. Only the salad is almost too much of a good thing (small green salad = dinner plate full to the brim). Prices are normally high and service is sufficient.

It looks like a restaurant but the food is wonderful. They have a real wood fired oven for pizzas.

Despite the restaurant being very busy, we were served quickly and friendly. We have already met the pizzaiolo, Toni, several times as a very well-positioned, likeable and, above all, excellent pizza baker. We'd love to come back.

An unmotivated, unfriendly waiter. Lighting a candle on the table was already too much for him. Let alone ask how it tastes. The pizza was very good, but an hour wait is far too long. So we were there for the first and last time.

5 stars: Food (especially the pizzas) and the two "Italian" service men who have been working in the company for years. 1 star: The boss who probably no longer thinks it is necessary to be a good “hostess”. Complete ignorance in the service, neither a “did it taste good” nor a smile or any other hospitality. In addition, your two employees were left in the dark (the restaurant was full) but the fine lady didn't think it was necessary to turn on the turbo and help out a little! The last time we were there, and only the boss was on site, we had to wait 20 minutes for a drink (despite the empty restaurant). When we then wanted a second drink, we were completely ignored and then went for more than one Hour. We also waited 20 minutes for the bill.

No hello, no thank you, no goodbye. Disastrous service & the restaurant wasn't full. Incomprehensible to me. If at least the food was good...

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Firstly, I waited for an excruciatingly long 1 hour and 30 minutes for my food to arrive. The service was incredibly slow. Secondly, the staff was unfriendly towards us, seemingly judging us based on our looks. It was an uncomfortable atmosphere. To top it off, they forgot what I ordered, which was incredibly frustrating. I won't be returning to this place anytime soon.

The food was very tasty, but the portions could be a little larger (apart from the pizzas, which are big enough) Maybe a defective cooling system, which has already been repaired, but beer wasn't cold that day. The beer glass simulated the cold well, but unfortunately the beer was more like room temperature. All in all I was very satisfied.

In my opinion one of the best restaurants in Thun. Above all, it has enough parking spaces and is very accessible.

Rooms very simple. Very loud from the street and pizzaria noise levels. This means that the room price is also very high considering the noise.

We were 3 adults and a toddler (14 months), we were some of the first guests that day, we ordered the menu twice and a risotto once and a salad. A 20 minute wait for the salad was still ok. What happened after that didn't happen anymore. Tables came and people ordered and paid and left. Meanwhile, we waited for our main course after asking several times and threatening to leave the restaurant otherwise, our food finally arrived after almost 2 hours. The risotto was only lukewarm, the menu was quite small and the meat was tough. I had to skip dessert because we still had a follow-up appointment. We thought 2 hours would be enough, especially with a small child, but no, my wife still wanted to eat the dessert so we had to split up. The waitress politely apologized because a cook was unavailable. Which, as described, was not credible since various tables had received their food for a long time. The drinks and salad were not charged. This restaurant is not recommended for families with small children. We won't come back either.

The Ristorante is on the main street and offers plenty of free parking spaces. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The Ristorante offers something for everyone. I had a pizza and I have to say it was good. The base is thin, airy and crispy and the taste is a feast for the palate. Price/performance top.

A good week ago a reservation was made for 13 people in the Rössli for today, February 4th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.! The order arrived and was received just in time! Since the menu card is visible on the Internet, I knew that I would order the long-awaited "Suurä Mockä"! Already with the starter there was a mess (lack of knowledge of German)! My salad was forgotten and had to be reordered. Another person was forgotten during the main course and this course also had to be reordered! My Suurä Mockä was a braised beef with the same sauce from my table neighbor...more than half of it was inedible (toe...gay...fatty)...I wouldn't order it again. It's a shame...that was the specialty of the house years ago. Because the promised coffee (vehler main course) wasn't even offered! What a shame...this was once a renowned restaurant!

I came to this restaurant because I went there years ago with my family and it was a very good restaurant. I went back with my husband and the welcome from the waiters and a small woman with dark hair were really rude and didn't have a smile on their faces. Don't order the pasta which was pre-cooked. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Close to the Swiss Alps and the beautiful Lake Thun, excellent pizza and very kind staff. We will be back

We made a reservation in the afternoon with the door still closed because we might want to take our dog with us. No problem, a great table was reserved for us. Very friendly staff. Pizzaiolo works very cleanly, drinks arrive at the table very quickly, starters and main courses are large and fine. Very reasonably priced. Only recommended. Very easy to reach from the campsite in just a few minutes. Gladly again.

My wife's risotto was cold and absolutely tasteless...my beef fillet was lukewarm and about 50 grams of it was laced with tendons. No salt, pepper or kreuterbutter. Risotto was also lukewarm and tasteless and no parmesan was served. Salad was delicious.

We were greeted somewhat stressed by the waitress and escorted to the place. Afterwards the service was friendly. Shortly afterwards we were able to order and the drink and salad came very quickly. Pizza and pasta were very good and a large quantity. We had the table right next to the pizza oven, it was exciting to watch but unfortunately it was rather loud due to the open workspace. Conversations at the table were hardly possible. In general, something needs to be done about the ambience. Dried plants on the windowsill and cobwebs on dim spotlights.

Friendly team. Enjoy your meal. The terrace is a bit tight as there are a lot of tables. Tables in the middle are not so comfortable because staff and guests walk on both sides. It's also a shame that there are no olives, but the pizzas are really big and delicious.

I just think if you don't enjoy your job, do something else... the service is simply bad, unmotivated, no hello, no laughter... both, a woman with glasses and unkempt hair and an older man with gray hair, glasses... how can You work like that, it was simply a no go meal was OK, arugula wilted on Vittellon Tonnato... can you really still afford it as a restaurant as it looks, unfortunately yes

When the two of us entered the restaurant on Thursday evening at around 8:15 p.m., we were directed to a table in a somewhat unfriendly manner. We sat there... The waitresses walked past us numerous times without even giving us a look or a greeting, let alone taking our order. On the contrary, they preferred to clear other tables and rearrange them. After waiting for a quarter of an hour, we had enough and left the restaurant (hungry, angry and incomprehensible) - FOREVER!

Very friendly staff, our attention was drawn to a small menu, but it had a much larger selection than some other places. The food was cooked, prepared, refined with a lot of love and offered at a reasonable price. Portions large and desserts too. Here the guest is really pampered. We'd love to go there again!

A nice place with wood-fired pizza. Was here 6 years ago. I was very satisfied at the time and therefore chose it again. Unfortunately I was unlucky this time. My Milanese schnitzel was almost entirely egg shell, and there wasn't much of Pameggiano to be noticed. It was also quite dark down below. The waitress had applied a bit too much perfume for my taste, because every time she came by a cloud of it drifted across the table.

We ate well and inexpensively. Pizza with salmon had plenty of toppings, although the Rössli pizza looked sparse in comparison, but still very tasty. The daughter's margarita was also very good. The son's children's plate of fish fingers and fries were good and the portion would have been enough for me too. Dessert selection is also good and they are delicious.

Ordered various dishes (pizzas and pasta) and they all tasted very neutral. There was a lack of passion when preparing the dishes, so that ready-made products would perform a lot better in the taste comparison. Staff not very motivated. I wouldn't recommend this place!

The pizzas were for nothing. The bottom of them couldn't be cut through and the ingredients slipped off the pieces. And it wasn't even that tasty. I've had much better delivery pizzas. The service was unprofessional and unfriendly. And it wasn't comfortable in the lounge room we were sitting in either, just boring and cool. I won't go there again...

I ordered veal pancakes in a fine lemon sauce...it was on the menu - and I got the cookies in a brown sauce with 3 lemon wedges on top ⁉️🤔 I was disappointed ‼🙄The cookies but tender and fine. The risotto was too salty and grainy and could have been cooked longer. What bothered me the most was the noise ‼‼🤨 We were placed at the back of the Sääli, which was also well occupied, and it echoed terribly loudly. Next to it is the table clearing station that the employees slammed into the pass with such a noise that it startled you every time ‼ Impossibly uncomfortable, very unfortunate.

We were there for the time being and were very disappointed with the Peperoni pizza. This pizza used to be much thinner and tasted better...

Hotel rooms are of low standard, located on a busy street without isolation windows. Breakfast not possible. Pizza is fine, value for money in the restaurant is good, service is okay.

We were treated extremely rudely by the waitress, whereupon we asked for the bill after the starter and left the restaurant because we wouldn't accept anything like that. We then went to the Ristorante Pizzeria il Peperoncino 2, which was about 30 meters away, and continued eating there and everything was perfect. From the food to the friendly service. I was in the Pizzeria Campione (Rössli) for the first and certainly for the last time!

I completely agree with Patrick below!!! You don't feel welcome at all. He+She (owner?) very unwelcoming, unfriendly...Pizza wasn't bad, but have eaten much better. No, Patrick, it wasn't a bad day, just no passion!!! The Italian heart bleeds when it comes to hospitality when the pizza is not made with love!!! Please do a benchmark, there are colleagues in the business who do it much, much better...or get Mr. Daniel Bumann, then things will go up again!!!
