Chillounge in Thun

I really appreciate that I can get a mere fried egg for little money.

Price-performance for the desserts is not okay (small dessert, big price). Thanks for the nice service.

It's called Chilllounge but it doesn't have any lounges to chill out.

Nice small but crowded restaurant due to its position on the riverside. Food was good, nothing special, personel was nice, but due to so many customers it took quite some time to order.

We've eaten there a few times and have always been satisfied. Went there for about 7 months during the summer and now twice again in January 2024. Unfortunately the service has become very poor. Every time we visited, the order was delivered incorrectly and was understood and we always had to go to the cellar to order more drinks. The staff's language skills in Swiss German or Standard German are insufficient and, in my opinion, unacceptable.

Opening hours until 00:00, unfortunately they were kicked out at 11:30 p.m.

Service from a young gentleman was great, but the service from the lady with short blonde hair with the bob haircut and bangs was unfriendly and did not accept the criticism about the drink that was available and discussed it. Disrespectful and kinetic behavior!

Warm ambience, friendly and quick service and a delicious cheeseburger. Again and again.

Favorite bar! I recommend eating the summer special with friends and family! Chicken potato 😍 never be without it again! In winter I'm always sad when the chicken potato isn't available. Dear Chillounge team I love the chicken potato like I love my mother! Please never take this off the menu!

In my opinion, a low-level waitress who insults her regular customers on their birthday. Simply cheap! Reply to your answer 1. Tell the whole story. e.g. that there were 9 of us and we drank outside until 00:00. 2. That your employee offered the free drink without asking anyone. 3. That you said to your employee: "We don't need people like that, they just want to drink for free" even though we frequented your bar 3-5 times a week. Of course we wanted to continue drinking, but the way you welcomed us, the desire was gone. My reaction corresponded to your level (I agree with you). But I was forced to go down to your low level, otherwise you wouldn't have understood me that I didn't need your free drinks. Long story short... After reading all your reviews and realizing that insults, rudeness and insolence are your weaknesses, I'm no longer surprised. I can trust you with anything. In any case, I don't recommend anyone to go to this bar.

Pure Caribbean feeling in Thun. However, in the chillo lounge there is also an exquisite selection of fine local beers. Plus one of the excellent castles (surprisingly, the vegiburger on offer is a clear and extremely good favorite. Added to this is the friendly service: thoroughly recommended.

I went to this restaurant to have a burger. The burger was okay, but nothing special. Unfortunately the fries were too salty and not that tasty. Another small problem was that not everyone at the table got their food at the same time. The staff was nice, but sometimes they seemed a bit stressed. Overall, my visit here wasn't particularly impressive.

To the somewhat "steadier" waiter who acts as if he were the boss. Cheeky, inappropriate language and tone of voice, as well as arrogant behavior. Very weak, at a bar/restaurant that discriminates against people with a mask dispensation!!! Please work on yourself before you cause suffering to others in the form of discrimination.

Great time. Consistently good. We go there every year when we are on vacation in Switzerland. Great seating outside as well.

The reception is very friendly. We had reserved and asked to be placed on the 1st floor. From there you have a great view over Mühliplatz. The chairs are very comfortable. We were served by several super friendly women who looked after us all evening without being intrusive. Great job. I had the pulled chicken burger for dinner, which unfortunately wasn't great. Several pieces of the chicken were still ice cold and the sauce was only smeared on part of the burger and soaked the bread before I could take the first bite, but the fries were okay.

Fast, friendly and uncomplicated service. The food has been TOP for years and has a large selection. If the side dish or burger changes, everything is done, very customer-oriented. The waiting time was very short, even though it was full. The toilets and the whole store are very clean. Keep it up

The food was very tasty, great garlic sauce and fries, unfortunately the service was a bit intrusive and unfriendly. At first she came to ask for 5 minutes, then she didn't come back at all. If you wanted to order something else, she was a bit annoyed, which was a shame because the food and the atmosphere were very tasty

On Saturday evening I went into town with my colleagues and sat down at Chillounge. We ordered shots. Then the serving girl came with the shaker and made us aware that the lid could fall and we had to be careful not to empty it. Shortly afterwards I pick up the shaker and whoosh I have emptied everything because the lid fell off. Now the serving girl came and told us there were no 2 shakers only if we paid. I asked the boss to describe the situation. She was anything but friendly. Very unsympathetic treated us like trash and said we had to pay for the shaker ourselves and we didn't even have a sip of the shot. She ruined us all evening. I've never experienced anything like this. I was in a restaurant myself and this happened to a lot of people and it goes without saying that they didn't pay for the drink and emptied it. I've never experienced anything like this, I'm horrified and just sad.

Mühleplatz in Thun is always great

Nice restaurant with a lot of drink and food choices. Their breakfast menu looks interesting as well. I had a veggie burger and while it was delicious, it tasted a bit bland, could've been served with a bit more sauce and some onions or other interesting topping. The fries were very good ! Unfortunately no interesting vegan options.

Chillounge has a cool waterfront terrace in the lively Thun district. There is good service, our waitress came back to our table several times to see if everything was okay Beyond these two positive elements, the prices are really prohibitive. It's Switzerland, ok, but compared to the quality of the dishes served it's really problematic... The frozen fries (5 CHF!) are not very well cooked, the nuggets are just disgusting (I much prefer the nuggets Maître Coq from Lidl, much cheaper. The nachos were not bad. I ordered a 33cl bottle of coke, I had a glass without seeing the bottle and the taste corresponds to a plastic bottle opened, according to my estimates, between 3 and 5 days before consumption. In short, not great. I won't be back unless I break my leg nearby, really can't move around, and have a dire need to drink a cocktail (they're not bad).

Stopped in for a coffee and chilled out on the terrace. Only doing nothing is nicer...

Burger meat tasted like it was frozen right before my order and lacked flavor but the fries were great. My partner ordered the Poké bowl with Salmon and really enjoyed it. Beer was cold and sometimes that’s all that matters!

Today I was unfortunately very disappointed: the poke bowl was tasty, but the portion was so small that I had to buy a sandwich afterwards to fill myself up. The service didn't really respond to my feedback. A pity

First you wait 40 minutes without any conditions, then when a waitress flashes by you politely ask if you can order. Whereupon the chef suddenly appears and reprimands you in front of all the guests. You have time for things like that. How about a little communication? When you enter, point out that it will take longer due to a lack of staff?! Friendliness is different and the behavior was anything but chill. Chill Lounge? No, Stress Lounge!!

Short stop for a coffee.... sat on the terrace, are well prepared for the unvaccinated and the cold, lambskins (don't worry, they're synthetic -> only mention it because of animal welfare) on the chairs and blankets to wrap up in. Service quick and very friendly. PP in Thun is best in the parking garage, especially since the chillo lounge is in the pedestrian zone or Mühleplatz.
