Nothing to say about the dishes. In this restaurant I tried (and recommend): spaghetti with clams, fried fish, pizzas and risottos. What I would like to praise, however, is the service. I was there for a good pizza like in other restaurants, where they make the difference is with the service, courteous staff even though the restaurant was very busy they dedicated time to everyone with nice jokes and courtesy making them feel like not just a number but an important person . For me this is what makes the difference. COMPLIMENTS

Nice and expensive place! haha but we have to expect it given the area! We went with friends and tried the fondue chinoise, I must say that it is a very varied dish due to the various sauces and combinations that can be made, therefore promoted! You can reorder dishes such as rice and meat at will and there is the possibility of choosing, at the time of booking, the type of meat you will eat. With wine and water we paid 60 euros each, but we ate a lot. Very friendly staff and attentive to requests. I recommend it to you.

Solid, warm, great location. Nothing fancy, just hearty food. I had pizza calzone and tiramisu. The staff is efficient, professional and friendly.

Very friendly service, quick and perfectly focused on the customer. The dishes were all of very good quality. I especially loved the Tartare di Tonno and the Osso Bucco which is served with a wonderful Safran-Cheese Risotto Milanese. A must try is the San Gottardo lager beer with its rich malt taste and a built-in constant urge to have more. The humorous servants even understand when you order "Aqua Minerale giallo" Give it a try! Highly recommended.

Tourist restaurant with very good food and very dedicated service. We spontaneously ate there with 14 people, everything was excellent.

The food was very bad. Over-salted, hard noodles, undercooked mussels and the price is way too high for such a mill. Service was good and super friendly but the kitchen was very very very bad.

Bruscetta is CHF 17.- what a disgrace and was bang average.

Historic restaurant, good and plentiful dishes and honest prices, it is very pleasant to dine on the terrace.

Friendly and nice service, but the food was not good: very salty Vongole, risotto without any taste and surprisingly no fresh Parmesan (they offer grano padano in a mini plastic bag).

A warranty. I go there with my family at least twice a month and each time I confirm that it is the best restaurant for variety and quality-price. Extensive menu and well-made dishes. Very friendly and quick service. Until next time!

Friendly, attentive and fast service. They let us enter the dining room with a dog. Delicious food, wide and varied menu. I recommend 100%!

Mediocre wines. Soup served with packets of salty parmigiana. Saltimbocha was reasonably good, but risotto side was very poor. Good service helped make it a three star experience overall.

We didn't book, we arrived with my boyfriend to eat at 7:30 p.m. there was room. We had a lasagna, it wasn't the best, it lacked béchamel and it should be more generous because it's expensive for what was on the plate. I had penne with vodka, it was good but after a while I couldn't taste the taste anymore because it was too strong. We didn't wait too long between courses. We wanted a dessert but seeing the faces of those who ordered desserts we said to ourselves a coffee would be enough. In terms of hygiene, you see the cook eating from the leftover dishes, it’s great 🙌🏼. We paid with a salad as a starter to share between two plus two dishes and two coffees as well as a cold tea and a syrup we got for 72.-.

Very good restaurant, the waiters are friendly and the terrace is really good (spaced out and quiet). The green salad is more generous earlier, just the sauce which seems industrial. The lasagna is good but a larger portion would be welcome.

The food was really tasty and I can highly recommend the Cordon Bleu and the Penne Alessandro. The service was also very friendly and offered us a table straight away. The price-performance ratio is definitely worth it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

On Sunday at noon I went with my wife to eat a pizza at the Cantinone restaurant, where as usual we go about twice a month. The pizza is good and we have nothing to complain about. On the other hand, regarding the service (young waiter with glasses), when we asked him to serve it on a hot plate, cut into slices (the knives have a thin handle and it is difficult to slice the pizza), he replied that he would have done it but that in his opinion it was a contradiction. Since we didn't go there to receive lessons on how to eat pizza and therefore this observation shocked us a lot and ruined our lunch, we will never go back.

Considering the average prices of a normal restaurant in Lugano, we decide to take 2 very simple pizzas (17.50chf per pizza) asking the gentleman in charge to add the parmesan (in any case included in that pizza) at the end of cooking. When it comes time to pay, however, we find the item "flaked parmesan" that none of us had asked for. At the house, after carefully examining that our pizzas actually included parmesan and that no one had asked for flakes, they deducted the extra item in only one of the two pizzas... okay, let's leave it at that... pizza 🍕 anyway good, oven-baked wood-fired and friendly waiter.

We wanted to dine inside an rest our bicycles at the window so that we can see them...the staff from the restaurant just gesticulated that we're not allowed to and they did not seem to need customers (although the restaurant was nearly empty). At least the food was nice when I was there in summer..

Very nice pizza and priced fairly well. The waiter we had was very friendly and attentive.

Great restaurant with a good selection, fine food and top service. Despite the house being full, the food was on the table very quickly. The team of waiters is very well coordinated and works quickly and highly efficiently. The portion of cordon bleu was so large that I couldn't eat it all. The waiter offered to pack the rest to take away.

It's very pleasant to sit here under umbrellas and trees, even at higher temperatures. Service very friendly and quick. Quite a large menu. We found the pasta with porcini mushrooms and bacon in tomato sauce to have little defined taste. This was perhaps also because there were hardly any porcini mushrooms to be found. Portions quite large. Wine list very good. Also open wines.

I would give a 3.5, if possible, as the portion was plenty, food was decent and came fairly quickly. However, the bread basket at the start came with no butter/olive oil/vinegar, my penne alessandro was served with grated cheese packets and at the end, the waiter asked if I wanted to tip (which is not required in Switzerland).

Very good experience! We were also welcomed with our dog, the staff was friendly and fulfilled every wish. A unique meal! And a liter glass of beer, great!

Food is very overpriced for what it is - if I pay 40 CHF for a viennese with French fries I expect a certain standard. Not to mention that all the bread/pizza/focaccia tasted like it was just defrosted and the quality of the prosciutto crudo used on the pizza was very debatable. For a 100 chf dinner for 2 people I expected more, migros pizza is better and cheaper, just saying. Plenty of other restaurants to go to, sorry!

Mu family and i had a lovely meal here with great service and an excellent menu. The terrace is spacious and very nice, food came very fast and we like it so much that we visited them next day also. Truly recommended!
