It was good, specially the poulet garu(pls correct the spelling ) was really nice.

A great stay from A to Z, as always with the Segmüller family. The service is competent, friendly and attentive. The cuisine is creative, tasteful and visually excellent. In short: we would love to come back!!

We wanted to have a drink outside. We were ready to take the drinks from inside to outside and back inside. We were told that an aperitif was organized and that it was impossible even though others were served inside….. TO AVOID!

Very large restaurant, casual-chick vibe, suitable for big groups. Good food, albeit not extraordinary. Copious. A bit dark inside, but that seems fashionable. The bar is known to make good cocktails but we have not tried them

Their bruch offerings are delicious, and visually satisfying. Furthermore, nice decoration, atmosphere and service.

Schnitzel breading is somehow wrong. Doesn't stick to the meat and is very salty. Service excellent.

What a beautiful evening. After we had a wonderful red wine at lunchtime, of course not knowing the name, we were helped with detective instinct and we found it. Perfect. The menu was wonderful and a delight from starters to dessert.

This Friday evening, November 24th. I, my sister and a good colleague went to eat in your beautiful, harmonious restaurant once again and were pampered in every way. Great experience. We went to Sunday lunch brunch. The service is quality, the place is very beautiful (despite some work beyond their control). Everything is very beautiful, we ate really well with exquisite dishes. A superb experience that we will surely repeat. I recommend it with your eyes closed. The only disappointment was that the juices cost €30 even though they were self-service (which we learned later) Too bad it's not open all year round, I recommend

We really enjoyed the aperitif from our business Christmas dinner at Carlton. It was a perfect start. The bar is very chic, the aperitifs were great and the service was very friendly and attentive.

We booked for October 7th, 2023, the receptionist was as friendly as grains of sand in the Sahara, it was dripping next to us and my husband's napkin was missing, but she replaced it without saying an apology, that's a no go Then the afternoon tea is just very poor, toast bread is not fresh... No quarter, for 2 people and a whopping CHF 98, only 2 scones? the only thing that was actually tasty I recommend the Carlton team to enjoy an Aftenoon Tea at Baur Au Lac, it costs CHF 30 more per person but it's worth it, service impeccable and delicious, rich afternoon tea We will never sit at the Carlton again, too chaotic due to lack of staff, tea was served without tea leaves, only hot water was poured with a timer? We weren't asked if we wanted anything else or how it tasted... We got 2 additional scones for free although we only asked for the price, a nice gesture

I treated myself to a delicious hummus in the Carlton Bar today. Tip, great! In the 70s, it was a smoky bar for ring and currency dealers (from 3 p.m., 4 p.m.) and customer advisors and cashiers (from 5 p.m.).

Great service, food and beverages are great too. The atmosphere is classy and relaxed. I have visited the place around 2 pm. I will re visit the place again at night as well.

We had an online booking with confirmation from the hotel for high tea, but once there they told us it was not valid and we had to go away. It never happened before in any other place anywhere ... if this is their level of service and organisation….

I celebrated my birthday with 20 people at Carlton with brunch. The food and service were just perfect and the Carlton team was very accommodating and organized. I look forward to next time and thank you for everything!

Saturday lunchtime for brunch/lunch: Ambiance is great. Service lukewarm. Had to ask several times (wine order, cutlery that was missing). Kyr Royal was more syrup than Kyr. Only when you ask do you get a new, correct one! receive. Service wasn't really motivated! It's a shame that the Carlton doesn't seem to feel the need to offer good service for this price! I'm disappointed and would have expected more.

A quick visit to the Carlton restaurant... Again after years. Very pleasant... Gladly again...

Very dignified ambience in the style of a library/lounge. The food was very good both visually and in terms of enjoyment, the service was ok - unfortunately a few Fopas (wine served from the neighboring table, or completely forgotten to refill it, plates were brought and the decorations collapsed) that evening. But basically friendly.

Afternoon tea at Carlton - an experience for the senses! Every Thu-Sat 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Super friendly staff, elegant and cozy atmosphere, delicious appetizers (see photo) and there were also scones with jam and double cream - simply heavenly! I tried the “Berner Roses” fruit tea and can highly recommend it.

We were just there and waited forever for food. Overpriced and not good quality. We asked for salt and came a salt shaker without salt. Nobody said goodbye to us or picked up the jacket.

I met a friend for an aperitif. Very fine and chic restaurant/bar. We ordered a few snacks in the middle for dinner and cocktails. Everything was delicious, food as well as cocktails. Service was also very nice, attentive and professional. 5 stars 10 points Thanks

Great Monday Bouteille evening on August 8th, 2022 with the best weather, excellent service and the finest food, which was also a visual feast for the eyes. Conclusion: Consistency at a high level and would be happy to come again at any time!

Nice bar in the middle of Zurich. Today we had tea over ice. Really great idea for the summer

Total disappointment. After last year's great service at the mother day brunch we decided to repeat the experience. That was nothing like last year the least to say: Mediocre reception. The food was again nice but the service was a disaster: we were not explained what the setup was nor what will be served when. We had to waive and wait for over 20-30 minutes till we got some attention or food served. Waiters past by in such a hurry that you didn't get time to ask them anything. All in all, one felt like being a nuisance not a customer. We had decided to leave before even getting the full desert as we were tiered chasing and waiting for food we had ordered! Additionally, a child was charged the price of an adult menu which includes an alcohol drink (which you'd expect the waiter would ask if the adults on the table would like to have). Extremely poor service....! We've been promoting this place in our circles for years; now the message is stay away unless you'd like to experience the worst of the Swiss service. P.S. we actually made a reservation weeks ahead.

Wasn't too impressed with the afternoon tea. They're not great at catering for vegetarians and vegans. Basically, whatever they brought to us was a selection of small bites - no proper sandwiches or cakes, also a piece of bread with guacamole instead of scones. Perhaps meat/dairy menu is better, but if you're a vegetarian/vegan, and know how a proper English afternoon tea should look like, get yourself an (accidentally) vegan scone mix from Coop, make your own scones, and save money.

We went to Carlton for afternoon tea. The online reservation worked very well, the reception was extremely friendly. The atmosphere is nice, the service is courteous and the tea menu is extensive. We didn't like the food as much, some of the sandwiches were dry and all had the same taste thanks to the horseradish/mustard spread. The mushroom spread on diced smoked bread took some getting used to. The scones were good, but the consistency of the clotted cream wasn't firm enough, so it melted a bit when served. The presentation was also interesting, especially since the cake stand was packed and didn't look very appealing to the eye. Unfortunately, the afternoon tea didn't convince us. We paid CHF 200 for 4 people.

Monday boteille is a great idea if you want to bring your own wines. The food is good, the vitello tonnato or the Wiener Schnitzel are clearly the best in this area. Prices good and service very nice!

We where for a drink and we had a lunch alsow 🤗 the staff is super cool and the service is very fast. The drinks where super and the food alsow.

The food is looking good on the plates but in the mouth I wouldn’t say that I am really a fan. I liked the service and the desert and also the effort that they put for the food to look good, but seems to my girlfriend and myself that it was too salty. It’s an experience, try it maybe you will like it.

I loved the atmosphere of this place: very cozy with a cool art deco vibe. We started the dinner with a drink from the bar, which was excellent. I had the five course tasting menu and it was delicious: the plates were small and tasty. The picture shows the entrecôte with foie gras and small very delicate rolls of potatoes.

We sent an email to the restaurant to book dinner with a birthday cake, " they said we do a celebration cakes and that's ok " and they advertise that on their Instagram. my husband gave them a phone call just to make sure and the lady confirmed she will prepare a cake for us. On the day after dinner we asked for the cake and that was what we have received, a slice of brownies. 🙄 I was so disappointed and when i asked the waiter he said we didn't get any cake orders and that what we usually serve for birthdays . He gave us free dessert but that wasn't what we asked for!!!!!!

So many reasons to choose Carlton as your destination. It’s definitely one of my favorites. It has a fine dining restaurant, a Tessiner Restaurant and a Cocktail Bar, Highly recommend 🥂…….. ….I forgot about the Wine Cellar 🍷 Just ask for the wine menu 👌

Location and setting is great but food menu is very limited, expensive, and not well prepared (my Rösti was black burned on the bottom and around). On top of it, the waiter argued that is normal. Disappointed.

Nice, central location. Good coffee. Poor service. Took very long to order. Brought the wrong order. Had to pay at counter, as the waiter did not show up anymore.

-My opinion about this restaurant- First the good: -Wiener Schnitzel baked perfectly, nice waves, great taste -French fries taste great -Extraordinarily beautiful atmosphere (inside) Now the not so good: -Soup for the starter was ice cold, although this was not noted anywhere (it was called “soup” not “gazpacho” or something like that.) -The music was extremely loud and quite disturbing in my opinion. -Portions are not huge, but not too small either. However, I would have liked something more. Another short suggestion about the schnitzel: I would use slightly less fine breadcrumbs. The schnitzel was great, but the breadcrumbs were too fine for an original Viennese schnitzel. Otherwise TOP!

Nice terrace off Bahnhofstrasse. Menu during main hours nice, during off hours ok. One of the best Ceasars salads in town. When one dessert item was not available maitre and staff made everything possible to compensate the disappointment. They made it. Go there have an relaxed atmosphere and enjoy.

In my eyes one of the coolest bars i have ever seen. The drinks and the ambience is certainly good enough for a city like Zürich. The service and the personal is very good. Denifitly a good place to visit!

Service was mediocre and slow. Menu very limited. We were 4 people, all ordered drinks and 2 of us main course. However 2 of us wanted an apero plate. We were actually pushed in a bad manner to “buy” a main course. Will never visit this restaurant again. Had also bas experience from service during corporate events some years ago.

I recommend the Wienerschnitzel and its side dishes, rather than the tarte flambée (scattered pieces of salmon with capers on a pale flatbread). Good rolls with wild garlic or spinach cream cheese, butter and aromatic olive oil. Good wine. I recommend the Schnitzel and what it comes with, less the Flammkuchen with some pieces of lox and a few capers on pale flatbred. Nice buns with spinach cream cheese, butter, and aromatic olive oil. Fine wines.

Restaurant very centrally located. Friendly and well-trained staff. Good summer menu. Terrace is large, enough distance between the tables. We had dinner at Carlton yesterday for my wife's birthday. The first impression of the ambience is simply WOW! The dining room is fantastically decorated and exudes a cool and elegant ambience.

Das Essen unserer standesamtlichen Hochzeit haben wir im familiären Kreis bei Carlton im Board Room Bereich zu uns genommen. Von Anfang bis Schluss eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung. Die Organisation gestaltete sich sehr einfach und unkompliziert. Das Essen war schön angerichtet und qualitativ Top. Auch der Service war einfach so wie man es sich für einen solchen Event wünscht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und können das Carlton genau auch für solche Events sehr weiterempfehlen.

We ate our civil wedding meal with family at Carlton in the Board Room area. A very pleasant experience from start to finish. The organization was very simple and uncomplicated. The food was beautifully prepared and of top quality. The service was also just as you would expect for such an event. We were very satisfied and can highly recommend the Carlton for events like this.

Très bon restaurant, parfaitement situé au cœur de la ville de Zürich. Les plats sont exquis, les 14 points au Gault&Millau sont très largement mérités et le prix n’est pas excédent pour un tel restaurant à Zürich. L’ambiance à l’intérieur est très chaleureuse et calme. Nous avons passé un très beau et bon moment.
