This is a typical Italian restaurant with Awesome atmosphere like in Italy . Nice pizza with very fare price for take away , always the best choice for busy day ~

As a group of 31 people, we had reserved over 14 days in advance. After more than 1.5 hours, 9 of us still had nothing to drink. The waiter, who mostly worked alone, was completely overwhelmed, especially since he also had other guests. Due to the uncoordinated service, I only noticed when the first main courses were served that my starter was the daily menu! was missing. I noted that and then got it. I was afraid that the main course would suddenly be in front of me, but that didn't happen, my main course was also forgotten! I reported this and instead of the lamb gigot with risotto (daily menu), I was served beef with French fries. When I reported this, I found out that the lamb was now gone. I changed my mind for beef fillet with Barolo sauce. The food was excellent and the dough was tender, and for me, unlike others, it was even hot. After about 4 hours I had eaten, but they didn't even want to offer espresso for the whole disaster. I won't be going back to Vasa d' Italia anytime soon.

Good food as always. Unfortunately we waited almost an hour for the first meal and the other three came another 25 minutes later...

The food is very good, the service is also great. The ambience corresponds to a family environment that has a touch of Italian. All in one a highly recommended restaurant.

Price quality difficult to beat in the city. Really competitive prices, we went on a Sunday opting for the Sunday menu. 29.50 3 courses, first course, second course and dessert, meat a little dry and dry but I don't feel like criticizing more because the pasta and dessert are good, as are the generous portions. But the card also offers very respectable prices for being in Bern, I had been a month ago and had struggled to finish everything even though it was delicious. Then the warmth and Italian nature of the staff make you feel at home. Well done 👏🏾

The food was very good, but the table wobbled, which was a bit annoying. The ambience could be improved, the lamps are extremely bright, not pleasant. The service was a bit grumpy, she probably didn't feel like working on January 1st, too bad...

The Casa d'Italia in Bern offered an ambivalent experience. The reception was cool, which unfortunately put a damper on the evening. The starter, a cold plate, was fine and met expectations. While the osso bucco was okay, I think it could have been more tender. The pizza was only of an average standard, particularly the bland and dry pizza dough was disappointing. On the positive side, the tiramisu stood out and was very tasty in terms of taste. The coffee, on the other hand, only achieved a moderate standard. A clear point of criticism was the longer waiting time when paying the bill, due to an apparently busy waiter. Overall, Casa d'Italia offers a mixed dining experience. While the tiramisu was convincing, there is room for improvement in the reception, the quality of the osso bucco, the pizza dough, the coffee and the service efficiency.

It's a nice place. They have delicious pizza. Among the pizza varieties, I definitely recommend the 4 cheese pizza. The service is slow but acceptable as it is a decent environment.

Nothing compared to a real pizza. 1 star only for the time of cooking. When we tried it was cold, dry. Dr. Oetker is even better compared to this one. Do not recommend at all. Casa di Svizzera you need to be called: expensive and not good.

What a stellar place! Went there for lunch with my girlfriend and we loved the cosy atmosphere and the wide range of seasonal dishes. At the moment, they have an autumn dish selection and we highly recommend the entrecote. Make sure to order coffee after the meal, it's delicious.

Great pizzas, charming terrace and friendly service, gladly again!

The staff was friendly and served in the beautiful and quiet courtyard. Nevertheless, all in all, the visit on Wednesday evening was unfortunately not that great. Unfortunately, proactive actions by the staff were just as unenjoyable as the dessert that was not received. The salad was served blandly and with ready-made salad dressing. Pizza calzone contained raw egg and eggshell. All in all, the visit cannot be recommended after these experiences.

Unfortunately I don't understand why the quality of the food including the pizza can vary so much every day...sometimes great...sometimes just enough...! I also don't understand why the ambience (furniture, lighting/lamps and floor in the new rear part of the restaurant) was made so bad and so uncomfortable. Such a shame! You should definitely improve the whole thing and make it more comfortable!

Great authentic Italian restaurant in Berne just a short bus ride from the Berne central station. The restaurant building is home to a former Italian president Sandro Pertini. Food is great. Be aware the restaurant doesn’t offer English menus and most of the staff speak only a little English. Everyone is super friendly. The bartender let me charge my iPhone. This is one of the very few restaurants open on Sundays.

The restaurant is ok overall. The food is good but not outstanding and the atmosphere is ok but not great. The indoor area is fairly dense and loud when crowded. The service is friendly but also seemed busy and was pushing us to take a table outside despite making a reservation and it being cold and wet outside (though the area itself is covered and dry and we ended up taking it). I’m not sure yet if we’ll be back.

I stopped by Bern and my mom wanted to eat vongole, so I went! A middle-aged server took our order, and the food was overall delicious. Today's menu was prepared, so we just had to choose two, and with the addition of vongole and 3 beers, it came out to 58 francs.

Good Italian restaurant where you can eat good pizzas but not only

I’ve had several meals at this restaurant. All were good, especially the Spaghetti alla Carbonara. A typical Italian restaurant.

We are disappointed with the wait time and prices. FYI the caprese salad was 1/2 tomato and 1/2 mozzarella for 20. It was very expensive for a restaurant which is also not in the center. We heard 1 hour for 2 salads! Feeling of being cheated.

Service very slow. Plates and food were cold. We were a registered group, plates didn't come at the same time. One part was already finished when the other part hadn't received anything yet. Staff just polite. A pity

Very good Italian cuisine at reasonable prices.

We were traveling as a larger group. The restaurant is very large with a large outdoor area. We waited 2 HOURS for our food. 2 HOURS??? What's that supposed to mean? Some of our group got the food, the others didn't. Something like that just doesn't work! When we complained, a glass of wine was offered. We ate for 1000 euros in total and the wine is simply not enough for that. It's a shame about the good food. Please correct your service staff! That's a hell of a thing

Authentic Italian restaurant in the area of the University of Bern (Länggasse). Their pizzas are absolutely delicious and are worth the try if you are in this area. I went there for lunch with a group of people and unfortunately we waited a good hour before our food arrived as there was literally one pizza baker around in a packed restaurant. The place could really use a good makeover too. But I can recommend their good food.

It takes a long time for them to serve the food. Unfortunately the employees are very unsympathetic and unfriendly.

There should actually be zero stars for this deadly sin, zero! But because everything else is almost perfect and of course deserves a cinque stelle, I'll be good-natured and give it a three.
