I'm shocked, it's the first time in my life that I've ordered a raclette and someone brings me a plate with just one melted cheese on it. Furthermore, I'm sorry but three plates of this type at 20chf per person is unheard of. I won't come back!

we were a table of 15 people and we had ordered our menus in advance. On the big day, the menu changed, and instead of having salmon as a starter and coalfish as a main course, we had salmon as a main course with a completely different accompaniment from that offered. We went there for a group dinner and were not allowed to choose our meals. It was a fixed menu for everyone which was a bit disappointing but ok. However, we were first asked to order drinks and I got the wrong order. When i tried to nicely ask to the waiter if it was possible to change as it wasn’t what I ordered, I was told “it is what it is”. We then received 3 bottles of wine we did not order. When we pointed this out, we were told it was part of the menu. It ended up being untrue as we had to pay extra for the bottles of wine. All in all the food (fondue) was okay. I was however quite taken aback by the service and do not plan on going back to this establishment again.

How sad... I hadn't been back for a while, this basic restaurant known for typical traditional dishes is no more. A menu that directly shows the color of mediocre quality, instead of preserving the quality of typical Swiss dishes, you can find everything there, pasta carbonara (with cream), pesto and other sauces, salmon with rice, chicken curry, Chinese fondue, tartare at 40.- for 200gr, perch fillets, almost sad I was expecting a page of Pizzas and kebabs in addition to the 5 different menus offered. The fondue was still passable, although nothing exceptional for such a high price.

The quality of the dishes is quite good, and the portions are copious for fair prices in Geneva. The only downside is the noisy atmosphere, but that also makes it possible to welcome groups. The service is good and remains very friendly, but one or two servers are easily missing so that they are not exhausted.

Traditional food based around fondue. The smell at the front door is quite off putting (cheesy feet!) but not so bad once inside and seated. Prompt service to take order and bring beer, fondue about ten minutes later arrived to table. It tasted OK but was nothing special and for the price not great value (although everything in Genève is expensive so…). Was very busy and seemed popular with tourists and locals from what I could tell. Not bad but wouldn’t necessarily rush back. 70CHF for two people including one beer each.

Too bad the truffle in the truffle fondue is tasteless. Despite the escalation, the service was top notch!

Shocking. I ordered the raclette (in picture) which costed 30chf (standard for a good dish in switzerland), came at least 10 minutes later than everyone else’s food and each piece of cheese in intervals of 10 minutes as well. And they were COLD. After my second piece (out of 5), everybody had finish eating already. I understand it was a busy night but the service was bad, the food was just ok and I’ve lived in switzerland for 10 years, I’ve never seen the audacity to call this dish raclette before.

30 CHF, fondue tomate: So many potato that I couldn't finish. Sharing with friend is suggested. The potato is warm, fresh and served in a cloth bag to keep it warm. The fondue is served with a fire under the pot. The melted cheese is not really surprising. I can barely get a hint of tomato. The cheese is not 100% melted so you have to stir it from time to time to get a good mix of it. There 2 kinds of baguette: ordinary one and one with different grains. 3 stars saying it's not good nor bad. Food is ok and service is good as expected.

Really reasonably priced for Geneva, open late, good food and always very hospitable! It's a post concert tradition for musicians and audience alike and they managed to squeeze in half our orchestra on a recent tour!

First time we went there to eat a mushroom fondue, it was plentiful and tasty! Fortunately at 35chf per person. We also ordered a "Valais slate", also hearty, however the dried meat was really not good... Too dry and with a texture resembling plastic. Damage. Other than that it was good and the restaurant is beautiful and the service fast and efficient!

The food is correct. We had ordered potatoes to accompany the fondue but they did not bring it to us. We were on the terrace, and suddenly one of the waiters took the umbrella that was covering us from the sun to another table without any consideration of whether that act affected us and we were quite hot for at least half an hour until he finally took it to us. We had a drink and a meal there with the orchestra after a concert at the Victoria Hall and were very surprised by the incredibly unpleasant and rude welcome from the waiter who spent the evening refusing us to pay when ordering for the end being unable to know what had already been settled, refused to tell us what we owed... We were scammed of at least 150CHF. All this for very average cuisine, this place should unfortunately be avoided.

More than average food, exorbitant prices, deplorable service. We came after a concert at the Victoria Hall, around fifty people. One of the waiters took a dislike to us as soon as we arrived. At the time of the bill, when everyone had already paid much more than what they had ordered, there was supposedly more than 130 Swiss francs remaining. This place does not change, always heard endless stories of scams of this kind and it continues to attract so many pigeons. Avoid like the plague.

A very wierd experience. Had high hopes for the resturant, but the staff kept ignoring us, the food was litteraly just a few boiled potatoes with som melted cheese. We were promised five courses, but where only served 3. Whereas the first one was a bunch of salad. Also very expensive and the resturant and with lacking hygiene.

The hygiene in this restaurant is seriously the worst I’ve ever experienced. When ordering refills of beer the waiter were reusing old glasses, which is ok by itself. But when you’re reusing glasses we would expect them to not mix them completely resulting in you drinking from another persons used glass… We even tried to tell the waiter about this, and got completely ignored. Worst thing is that this happened with our plates as well. So nice to be served an other persons half-eaten onions when you’re orders refill of cheese… not. They’re probably good if your in a smaller group, but seriously.. don’t go if you are with a lot of people.

I went many times to this restaurant, always to have fondue (different versions). They make, on my opinion, the best fondue in Geneva. I'm glad to have found the same service and quality after the restauration of the restaurant.

We went there on Sunday around 7:30 p.m. The gentleman responsible for receiving customers and seating them pretended not to see us for more than 5 minutes. We were standing waiting for him, in the middle of the restaurant. His colleague seemed sorry for us but couldn't do anything. We went to eat elsewhere.

Very disappointing experience. The atmosphere is quite cold and feels like a poorly managed canteen. We took a raclette for 4 people. The service was very slow, especially since they serve raclette by the slice and we have to wait between each service for the waiter to notice that our plates are empty, then to find the time to come and collect the plates to finally serve us again. We had also asked for a carafe of water (in addition to our drinks) at the start of the meal which was never brought to us despite having asked several times. Even to get the bill, we had to wait 15 minutes, and another 10 minutes more to be able to pay.

However, what costs the 2 stars in the final rating is the quantity served for dessert: 10.50 francs for 2 mini chocolate cakes the size of a 2 franc coin and a small scoop of ice cream (although the whole is very good), it's a bit exaggerated...

On arrival we asked if we could change tables because the table was quite narrow and not many people inside. They told me a resounding no, okay, surprised by this answer all the same.
