Very friendly, down-to-earth employees. Well-kept atmosphere, great selection of dishes - suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The food tastes very good and the price/performance is great!

Clean toilet. The food was fine and the price was right too. The restaurant is in a good location. PP available for a fee. I find the staff to be friendly and accommodating.

Excellent restaurant! Very friendly service, very friendly chef, the food is simply great! The restaurant was furnished with a lot of love. The food was simply outstanding! We're still raving about the fine Cordon Bleu and the great crepes with extra Nutella for dessert ;-) An excellent evening and a huge recommendation! We will be back. Kind regards from Olten :-)

We waited a long time to order two coffees (10 minutes), there was one lady in the service who was in charge of the terrace and the interior of the restaurant and she also served the bar. A lot of responsibilities for one waiter. The lady was nice and helpful, obviously tired from a lot of work.

Beautiful place, elegant and very cozy. Very friendly staff/owner. Fantastic food, very tasteful presentation of the dishes/drinks. Terrace with comfortable armchairs and blankets for cold days. Breathtaking atmosphere (fire pit). By far the best restaurant in Bad Ragaz!! Offers an upscale atmosphere and is also ideal for a simple evening after work. Everyone is welcome and every visit is an absolute pleasure. Highly recommended!

Wow, what delicious food!!! We had the chicken breast with paprika cream sauce and fries and the schnitzel with cream sauce, vegetables and noodles. The taste blew us away and the quantity was perfect, so there was still room for ice cream and a crepe. Top kitchen! The waitress was very nice and accommodating and the ambience was nice with candles, dimmed lights and not too loud.

We have ,as a family, been visiting the Central Reestaurant in Bad Ragaz occasionally for many years. Always happy with everything; food, service & ambiance. Will come again asap..

My partner and I have been visiting the restaurant for several years, it is our tradition. The prices have apparently adapted to society. Loveless. Very disappointing and unfortunate. It's tasty but it's not a Gault Millau restaurant. The book of traditions closes there. A Cordonbleu can never be justified for 39fr, after all it is not decorated with gold and diamonds!! It's a shame that one of the last warm restaurants is following suit. Will the regulars join in?

We spontaneously reserved a table for two this evening; when we arrived the restaurant was already full. We received a warm welcome and the staff were very friendly and accommodating from start to finish. The ambience was nice and “homely” and you immediately felt at home. The food was attractively prepared and very tasty! Great value for money. We definitely recommend the Restaurant Central! And we will come again.

The restaurant was full when we arrived, so we only had a seat on the windy terrace. But when a table became available, we were immediately invited in. The food was excellent, the service was very attentive and extremely friendly. THANKS. We like to come back occasionally and recommend the restaurant.

Despite the house being full, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Pizza and file... gladly again...

They are certainly not dessert specialists A strait (crumbled) & ice cream in a 3dl glass for SFr. 11.50 hmmm that's much better, see photo and please learn then I'll be happy to come back, thank you very much

Restaurant that serves good products. I recommend the cordon bleu Central which is really very good. The homemade ricotta ravioli are also very good.

We reserved a table for 4 people in the garden at short notice. The staff was friendly and helpful and got us a table within minutes, even though the restaurant was almost full. The drinks were served very quickly, the food took a little longer, but the Cordon Bleu's and French fries were very good. The prices were within the usual range, not overpriced. We can recommend the Central restaurant.

We waited 15-20 minutes to order ice cream and then we waited until they brought it to us. When they brought the ice cream, it was already half melted in the cup.

Long waiting time to take the order, unmotivated service employees (half sat on the neighboring table when taking the order!) and the total amount/tip rounded up again by 2.-! The ice cream coupes we ordered were delivered in normal 2 or 3dl drinking glasses and are therefore overpriced. There are only 2 stars for the delivery boy who brought us the ice cream.

Our visit to the Central Restaurant was an absolute highlight! The staff stood out for their exceptional service. The employees were extremely attentive and courteous, and we were served promptly. We started the visit with the “Blue Ice” cocktail which was phenomenal. The pinsini we ordered were fantastic, generously portioned, tasty and perfectly complemented by a fresh mixed salad. As dessert lovers, we attach great importance to the ending. The Coupe Alexander that we ordered here was a real blast. It was hands down one of the best coupes we've had in a long time. Plus, the outdoor seating area was a blessing on this warm summer day. We were able to dine outside and enjoy the scenic views while eating our delicious food, which made our experience even more memorable. In summary, our visit was filled with outstanding moments. From the exceptional staff and phenomenal drinks to the hearty meals and delicious dessert, we were thoroughly satisfied. We can't wait for our next visit and recommend Central to anyone looking for an exceptional culinary experience in Bad Ragaz.

The welcome in the restaurant was warm and the beers we ordered came quickly. Ordering lunch also went smoothly. Unfortunately, the good service ended afterwards. We waited around 40 minutes for 2 burgers with fries. When we asked where our food was, we were told that there had been a mistake and someone else had received our food. The staff did not consider it necessary to inform us accordingly - a shame! Mistakes happen? Maybe, but the behavior when detecting errors and the communication with the affected guests still needs to be massively improved. We cannot judge the quality of the meals because we did not want to and could not wait endless minutes for the food.

Looking for boba tea, we ended up at Central and received a very warm welcome. Charming & warm atmosphere, very friendly, warm and attentive service. The food is prepared with great attention to detail and is a culinary delight. From burgers to home cooking to pinsa, the selection is clear but varied. Conclusion: Definitely deserves more than 5 stars, next time we stay in Bad Ragaz we would be happy to be there again as guests. Thank you very much for the wonderful hours 🙏😊🍀

The service is long. As much as we are told the color when you order a cordon bleu, waiting that long for dessert is a little abnormal. Price a little high. Cordon bleu very good. Pleasant welcome.

Excellent food with excellent service. My husband and I order cordon blue Central and Chicken Breast, with salad as appetizers. All foods taste really good. The salad sauce is good; not too sour and the plates with really healthy mix vegetables. I love it. We come here by walk. I don’t know if they have parking space. The restaurant isn’t too big. Better to make a reservation. They have take away food truck in front of the restaurant. They also have winter event/program.

The service was very polite and accommodating. There were a relatively large number of customers, so the staff was busy. Nevertheless, they offered top service, fresh and good food. The portions were very large. Price / offer: Very good.

I will rate it with 1 star because all the waitresses were amazing except one of them (the blonde with short hair). If you are a foreigner and don’t speak German, you will feel neglected by her. I asked her for one of the dishes, but I was not sure if it was what I think, so, she only told me “nein” and she left me at the moment, without giving me the possibility to ask for something to lunch. I saw her being very kind with the people she knows (not foreigners of course ). I left the place after my lunch, I told her “danke”and I was like a ghost of her. Annoying experience. It’s my first time treated like that in my whole life. The lunch was very good and the other waitresse was nice.

Can't recommend it Food was mediocre the tables were dirty because there were birds nesting in the trees 🌳 something flew down even while we were eating...very disgusting...service no one needs artificial friendliness and a smile... Never come again 🤢

We were in Bad Ragaz on Tuesday, August 16th, 2022, after the walk from the Tamina Gorge we were hungry, the Central garden was about 2/3 full, so we thought we would like to be served here. But when after 15 minutes the waitress was still chatting with (presumably) regulars and didn't even look at us, we left hungry and disappointed - we didn't want to interrupt the obviously exciting discussion or beg to be served.

This evening everyone was very happy with the various orders only the espresso should be better!

We waited an hour and a half for nothing! I asked twice where our food was and the waitress always said the food was ordered and would come in 5 minutes! A man from the kitchen asked for the third time and he said we still had to wait 15 minutes. That was my mom's birthday dinner, thanks Restaurant Central.

A restaurant with an excellent atmosphere. pizza 16.50fch and a larger one about 19fch, we ordered their specialty vegetarian rolls. yum, so 2 portions with drinks 54 Swiss francs

Very slow service (45min) closing at 10 p.m. and kitchen closing at 9 p.m.… no time to have dessert, I advise against it!!!

After about 30 minutes of waiting, we had to get up, find the waitress and pay her because she couldn't get to our table. We found the service in this “restaurant” to be absolutely subpar.

Very friendly staff and cozy restaurant, there is a TV in the restaurant with information for tourists and the opening times of the restaurant!

The food was great and so was the service.

Not happy with food. Spätzli pan inedible, cheese on top very hard, 1/4 eaten, given coffee as consolation. There was a thick slice of bacon on my husband's beef burger, we said we didn't eat pork, otherwise it was reasonably edible. Rod panache also not good. Staff was ok.

Home-style cooking with an Italian touch, the spaghetti is homemade and very tasty, but the chicken with vegetables (instead of fries) was also very good, as was the green salad - decent portion size. Very friendly service. This is where the locals come to eat!

Typical regional dishes, finely prepared and friendly served. Due to the very nice weather and therefore probably more guests than expected, the waiting time was very long - which cost the 5th star... we'll be back.

We were there today on September 6th, 21 to eat an ice cream. Unfortunately we weren't served and after 20 minutes and after asking twice if we could order, we didn't want to wait any longer and left. It's a shame because we've been there a few times already. We probably won't be going there again in the future.
