The castle hotel is beautifully located in a large park near the thermal baths and a few minutes walk from the town center. The room in the castle was very large, quiet and harmoniously furnished, the beds were very comfortable, the HSK team worked quickly and the room was always very clean. The atmosphere in the bar is great and the other rooms are simply fantastic, just like in a castle. In the restaurant there is a very attractive buffet for breakfast with many different breads, sausages, cheese, yoghurt and muesli, fruits and much more. With half board there is a multi-course menu with various choices. The kitchen is simply great, the menus are very, very good. There is always a choice between meat, fish or vegetarian. The New Year's Eve menu was simply brilliant. We can't comment on the wellness area because we've never used it, even though we've stayed at the castle hotel several times. In general, it can be said that the team of director Mr. Z. and deputy director Ms. M. is extremely competent, friendly and helpful, be it at the reception, in the restaurant, the HSK, etc. Conclusion: The castle hotel is unique and we always enjoy coming back. We were overall really satisfied with our stay at the Hotel. The room was really clean and spacious. The hotel is isolated and the location is amazing so i do not see the reason why they offer you earplugs :) The staff is super friendly and helpful. The 4 star is because I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast, not necessarily with the offering, which was ok for a 3-star hotel, but with the fact that part of the buffet was most (if not all) of the times empty (bread, cheeses, coffee machine etc.) So my advice would be to focus more there and organize better how to run the breakfast tasks. I would go again though because all the rest made our experience great!

We stayed in room number 9 for two nights. I found the decor magical. The bar and restaurant were spacious and cozy. The breakfast buffet was good. The parking spaces were free and there were enough. The location was excellent. It was less than 5 minutes on foot to the Tamina thermal bath. At the hotel reception we bought a full day entry to the Tamina thermal baths for 40 francs. The staff at reception, bar and restaurant plus the cleaner were very friendly. Gladly again.

I loved my stay at the castle hotel. The only disadvantage - my attic room. The room was too cold for me. Unfortunately I only mentioned this to reception on the day of departure. After back surgery I lost 10 kg and as a result I get cold very quickly. The room was well furnished - I felt comfortable. Great - the short distance to the Tamina Therme - but for me it was a huge challenge to manage the path in wintry weather.

Clean and nice room, pet friendly, good breakfast and dinner. I loved the care of the girls at the reception, they also helped me to find a dog sitter for my little poodle. I will come back and recommend this place to my friends and family.

We spent one night in the rooms down the street by the pool. The balconies face the Eald which makes them super idyllic and quiet. The room was spacious and well furnished. You have to walk up for breakfast, but you have a nice walk through the park. The breakfast was absolutely ok. The bar outside was very nice in the evening. We used the hotel as a starting point for hikes and the new hot spring opportunity. We were happy to go back!

We felt at home in this beautiful stylish hotel. Very nice staff, good breakfast (we only ate in the hotel in the morning. The view is great, as is the huge park. We didn't go to the wellness area. The creaking floor under the carpet shouldn't bother you, but you feel like you're in the stuccoed area Rooms with antique furniture set back 100 years. The mattresses were good.

We were accommodated in one of the pavilions, which was more reminiscent of a youth hostel from the 90s. And sleep was out of the question for a long time because there were an incredible number of mosquitoes. It is a magical location, winding and somewhat mysterious. We had a room in one of the pavilions. Spacious, practical and with a terrace. What we were missing was a tea kitchen in the room (kettle, tea bags, coffee powder). I know that would be all there in the restaurant... but when it rains, or when you get up in the morning... it would just be the icing on the cake😀

I have been staying at this hotel a few times since 2020 and have seen how down it is slowly going. The people who use to work there are almost all gone and the new staff is often unrespectful, dirty and unwilling to help. the rooms are dirty and the carpets old. The unkind and always upset dark receptionist Janine Schtrumpf who treats the hotel like her property and the director like her teddy bear is very unpleasent and mean. ( I was outrageaous to see how she also answers to people in the comments here) I had to stay in the rooms outside the hotel that are like motel rooms last time because that is the only place where you can stay with a dog and it was horrible. Full of mosquitos. Impossible to leave a window open and of course no air inside and no mosquito nets. If you have the chance to not have mosquitoes in the room or ear the neighbours all night you will sleep well.

The service men's clothes and shoes do not fit in this hotel. Picnic basket was zero 8/15 not even a napkin in it. A blanket would also have been useful. It was loveless.

Hallo zusammen. Meine Freundin und ich waren 2 Tage in dem Hotel, das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war lecker, aber zu wenig und wenn man mehr verlangte kam sogar noch weniger, wir haben Halbpension genommen, für das Abendessen wird pro Person 45.- Fr. verlangt. Ich empfele daher nur Frühstück zu nehmen. Das Welness war eher enttäuschend, es hat zwei grössere Badewannen, die aber nicht sehr gross sind. Respektive für eine Person genüge das gerade mal. Alles in allem ist es ein schönes Hotel aber viel zu teuer.

Sehr freundlich und schlicht... das Schlossambiente kriegt man nur am Rande mit...

Zwei Kolleginnen und ich waren über Silvester für zwei Nächte im Schloss Ragaz. Die Anlage ist perfekt zum Abschalten und geniessen. Das Essen und die Bedienung waren super. Das Personal war immer total freundlich und zuvorkommend! Der Spa Bereich hat alles was man sich wünscht und wir hatten alle einen entspannende Massage um perfekt ins Neue Jahr zu starten.

Altes Hotel, eben ein Schloss mit einer kombinierten Einrichtung zwischen modern und stilvoll, mit einem hervorragenden Restaurant mit netter und zuvorkommender Bedienung. Das Essen war zwar nicht à la Carte aber die drei Menüs waren hervorragend gewählt und perfekt abgestimmt. Tolle Bedienung an der Bar, schöne Grüße an den Barman mit kosovarischen Wurzeln. Es war zwar nur ein Einzelbett Zimmer aber dafür gemütlich. Das Hotel verfügt über einiges an Annehmlichkeiten die ich wegen meines kurzen Business-Tripp’s nicht nutzen konnte, aber vielleicht das nächste Mal. Gerne wieder.
