Sooo good. And really great service. 3 of us got out of work very late and they were super gracious and friendly, though I think they'd like to have closed. I cannot recommend the pizza enough. Just the best.

I've eaten there a few times. I always left very satisfied. The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious! A reservation is recommended as it is usually very crowded.

The best pizzeria in the area up to Zurich, very friendly staff, the kitchen is now plus ultra, very fine, huge compliments to the kitchen brigade and the service staff. Friendly service and mega-fine food! We had bruschetta, spaghetti carbonara, lasange and saltimbocca with risotto. Everything was excellent and very nicely presented. We will be happy to come back.

We had a great time at Trocadero, the No1 Italian restaurant on the square. with well-kept service and a great menu. We enjoyed: a tomato soup, pizza amore mio, spaghetti carbonara and for dessert afogato and the berry dream, everything was excellent and the service was attentive and friendly. gladly again!

Service not very friendly and rude. Requests for authentic Italian drinks were not fulfilled even though all the ingredients were there. The skewer was served cold and not to the desired doneness. No reason for another visit.

A restaurant that is an IG celiac disease member according to the menu has exactly 2 gluten-free menus on offer. no gluten-free pasta, no gluten-free pizza. absolutely incomprehensible. everything else was not declared gluten-free. The risotto we chose was very hard/grainy, a shame. Many things on the menu are marked vegan or lactose-free. the waiter was under a lot of stress...hardly had the last bite of the main course in your mouth when you were already asked for dessert and coffee. There were 7 of us, and at the end of the bill he was visibly annoyed that we wanted to pay separately and annoyed because he had to add them together. we won't be coming back anymore.

We stoped by for a lunch on our way back to Bern. The place is old fashion decoriert, but the service is really good. Our waiter really give his best to serve as and our dog. We had pizza's becouse it was closing time for kitchen, they were basic pizza -not bad also not that good. And as desert tiramisu nicely served in small bowls.

Good food, very attentive service.

Eating at the Trocadero off and on for many years. But unfortunately it seems like it costs more and more and the food and ambience stays the same. The prices are above average and the food quality is simply good, not outstanding. We also have no understanding of not having pizza in a half-empty restaurant 45 minutes after the salad. Unfortunately we will have to switch to other restaurants in the future.

We called at 1.17pm asking if it was possible to arrive in 10 minutes to eat. They told us it was fine for us to arrive at that time but the kitchen closed at 1.30pm. We get there at exactly 1.27pm and they were closing the doors. I asked for an explanation and the answer was that the kitchen closed at 1.30pm... it's not possible that they first say that it's fine and when we get there they tell us that the kitchen is already closed. I'm sorry but that's not how it's done. Rather, you tell me that it can't be done right away.

As always, good pizzas, nice service, nice atmosphere...what more could I want...

Since it opened in 1986, I have always said that the Trocadero has always remained at a very good level. Last night I was disappointed for the first time. The outside of the pizza was smeared 4-5 cm with tomato sauce. The mozzarella and other ingredients were sparsely topped. A pity.

I ordered a small pizza and a large panaché beer, total 27.50. - in my opinion completely out of place. The pizza was very thin, almost too thin, they put the mascarpone before putting the pizza in the oven... really a shame, I would have expected better. For the rest the restaurant is not bad.

The Trocadero was previously known as a good inexpensive restaurant offering Italian cuisine. We have been visiting this location for several years, but unfortunately it is clear that no innovation has taken place. The beautiful menu has been reduced in size, the service staff has mastered the basics of friendliness, but the service has been much better in their locations. The food is very expensive and not of great quality. The portions, especially pasta, are more reminiscent of a starter than a main course, as you would expect and know from the original (casa de mama). The pizzas are topped with low-quality finished products, some of which are very salty and even inedible. Not only is the food salty, but also the prices - given this quality! If you talk to the service staff about the conditions and reinforce this by being a customer for years, they will contradict you and say that it has always been that way. Which is simply not true. - the motto customer is king is definitely no longer lived here.

We eat at this restaurant often. The food is top. This is the first time I've written a review on Google because one of the waitresses (Brigitte) is the absolute opposite of friendly and motivated service. Very cheeky to the customers and every single time we went to eat there. Her manner is absolutely outrageous and really ruins the mood. I've never experienced anything like this in a restaurant!!! A big compliment to Daniele, who motivated us today and served us in an extremely friendly and courteous manner.

An example of how it shouldn't be. Pizza dripping in fat and the fish is dry, without sauce and tastes of nothing. A tired pardon and that’s it. No discount, no accommodation. Unfortunately no!

Today I felt like having take away and ordered pasta. The Maccheroni Pedro were very tasty. A good spiciness and enough for a small portion. Tagliatelle marchigiane: fresh pasta with porcini mushrooms and Gorgonzola sauce. Wonderful!

The boss hasn't had sex for a long time, employees are taken advantage of and you don't get a seat even though everything is free. We made a reservation and wanted one more person, but we had a table for 4 and there were three people at the time. Lots of tables were free but the boss was screwed And pizza burned only superficial customers are welcome

I immediately felt like I was on vacation. The staff are very friendly and we immediately felt welcome. There is a nice pizza oven with an open wood fire. The pizzas tasted excellent and were generously topped with very good ingredients. The dough is very light and easy to digest. I would love to come back ❤️

Absolute impudence, wanted to order a pizza and the unfriendly man on the phone said: "Pick up within 4 minutes or not at all." How are you supposed to do that if you don't live around the corner? We made reservations for 20 people and got there. It was said that it had not been reserved even before making the reservation for the reservation. We were greeted very friendly and immediately asked for drinks. The evening started off great. First of all, a huge compliment to the kitchen. I've never had my food on the table so quickly. It was also really delicious. Unfortunately, Brigitte was no longer interested in us after the main course. They preferred to re-set the empty tables rather than ask us about dessert. We then defended ourselves and asked Danilio about the dessert menu. Unfortunately, when we made our decision, we were left sitting again. After 15 minutes, Brigitte, who was responsible for us, was informed that we would like to wait and order dessert and that she should take care of it. Your answer: no, I'll re-set the tables first. Danilo then apologized to us. A really very friendly employee and we would like to thank him very much for his commitment.

Ordered a seafood pasta for myself and chicken nuggets from the kinder menu for my daughter. All eaten up with satisfaction. Friendly staff. We didn't try the pizza though it seems to have a good selection.

Always a good address for a cozy evening. Whether as a couple, as a family with small children or with a dog. You are always warmly welcome. And it’s also very good 😁. Our favorite restaurant when we are in the region!

Pizza looked like it was overdriven. It was not even crunchy, very poor quality. The service also wasn’t the best. This was the worst pizza I have ever eaten.

The chicken we ordered surprised us positively! It was very tasty and we enjoyed it. The restaurant also has attentive staff, so it is as it should be. The ambience takes some getting used to, as you basically only eat in a large, open room. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our visit to the restaurant.

The pizza was really good, as was the service, unfortunately understaffed for a large restaurant, but the absolute impudence is to charge CHF 10 for a 1 liter bottle of non-carbonated water, that's just way too expensive and since there's no Corona, no war or anything Otherwise what would be considered an excuse is simply greed for money

You always tip the staff for the service, but today I would just like to thank the pizza maker who was at the oven on September 1st, 2022. I have rarely eaten such a delicious pizza, the base is thin, perfectly topped and crispy. I'm sure everyone has different tastes in pizza, but I can and would like to just say, GRAZIE GRAZIE GRAZIE... and your boss can be proud of you...

We wanted to come for lunch at 1:15 p.m....the doors were already locked, the employee right in front of the entrance preferred to water the flowers instead of greeting us. With a "We only have hot food until 1.30pm" it became clear to us that guests are not welcome here and they probably don't need the money either. Sad dining experience😑
