Had good experiences with security. I stupidly lost my ticket for the jacket, after describing the contents of the jacket, the jacket was given to me without a ticket, even though it was far from over. Fair dealing and common sense seem to be at work

The security was absolutely wrong. It couldn't be more unfriendly. I have never been treated so unfairly in my life. This is the last thing!!!

The club sells too many tickets every time. This means that after 1:45 a.m. you usually no longer have room to dance on the dance floor.

If you want to spend a pleasant evening without stress, this area is probably not the best choice. The bouncers are completely incompetent and arrogant. They are desperately looking for a reason to throw you out (they probably want to push their ego with that..) My colleague was EXTRALY tripped by a bouncer in order to provoke such a reaction. And this is just one example of other encounters with them. Instead of ensuring safety, they themselves create stress. This is how grown men who call themselves “Security” behave? I would think about it. The rest of the employees were nice

We were made a fool of by a group and didn't react, but this group reported us to the Securitas, even though they made a fool of us and we were kicked out of the club for no reason. Apparently these people knew Securitas. We had to leave the club without a good reason. (never caused any problems in clubs) Absolute incompetence, just wanted to celebrate my colleague's 30th birthday with good vibes. Zero understanding, just partial to the compatriots. Absolutely incomprehensible, I will never set foot in this club again.

Unfortunately I have to agree with the comments, the security has absolutely no authority, you are simply thrown out of the club for no reason because your security colleagues wanted it that way. NOT RECOMMENDED and the last time!!!

I'VE NEVER EXPERIENCED SOMETHING LIKE THIS!!! My colleagues and I were simply hit on by an idiot on the dance floor and kicked out of the club. However, he doesn't... He started the whole thing and was still spared... There weren't even any violent situations, you could have left it with a warning and it would be fine. Absolutely incompetent and unfair security behavior. Was the last time in this club…

Very unfriendly bouncers on Friday evening! You can't even keep your jacket on when you're cold... 3/10. On the other hand, the two amazing women at the checkout are 10/10! Great team❣️

Eight of us were at the Dandy Restaurant on the roof in a wooden hut on New Year's Eve. The fondue was really creamy and very tasty and the starter and dessert were excellent. The service was courteous and friendly. I can only recommend it, gladly again.

Being insulted and harassed by the Securitas for the second time is not a nice thing. I will not visit this club again and do not recommend it to anyone! Securitas are not trained, I keep hearing people complain about Securitas. (The cliche, I'm the sheriff here, you can't come to the club. It actually still exists.) Hello 2023:) You can't rely on these dubious 5* comments. But everyone has to make up their own minds.

Unfortunately it was a very bad experience. Despite having a ticket, we had to wait in line for over an hour and there were NO sanitary facilities (everyone around us had to rush to the toilet)! When we finally managed to get into the club, we were asked very stupidly by the security staff when we were queuing for the toilet, asking why we hadn't handed in our jackets yet. It was also very crowded, so you couldn't really dance/move around and everyone was very irritable. One of the worst things was when we wanted to leave the club and had to wait OVER AN HOUR to get to the cloakroom. There was a lot of crowding and the staff were clearly overwhelmed. When I asked the staff constructively about it, they only blamed themselves. Unfortunately, when looking through the recessions, this is not an isolated case and the operators have been promising a solution for a long time. Unfortunately I won't be coming anymore and I'll advise everyone I know not to...

We first had to queue outside for 1 hour despite having a family card, then at least another 35 minutes inside for the cloakroom and when leaving the club over an HOUR to pick up the jackets from the cloakroom!!! For the fact that you pay 20 francs for entry and the club is actually really cool, the management at the entrance and cloakroom is really bad. You would just have to hire 3 to 4 more people in the cloakroom and improve the coordination infrastructure. I find it really sad that guest satisfaction is considered so unimportant and nothing is done about it. The problem with queuing to get in has been around for years. But somehow it keeps getting worse.

Despite the friends list, we waited in line for over 1.5 hours! Had to queue longer than people without a guest list! Such arrogant bouncers. An absolutely arrogant club! What a ***. Overpriced ticket, not good music!

Really bad! The bouncers and other visitors were extremely homophobic! We didn't have a good time...

Unfortunately, our last visit was overshadowed by an unpleasant event. After a friend was insulted in a sexist manner by another club-goer, we contacted security. Unfortunately, she reacted completely inappropriately. The first reaction was to compare the harassed person with the perpetrator, who denied everything and repeatedly insulted my friend with "you don't have them all anymore" (in front of the security). The security then assured us that the man had to leave the club, whereupon we went back to the dance floor. About 10 minutes later the perpetrator was on the dance floor again. When we asked a security employee about this, he literally said to my friend: "Just because you're a woman, you're always right." I summarize: 1. Man harasses woman in neighborhood in front of witnesses. 2. Security also witnesses insults from the man 3. Security decides, contrary to previous statements, not to expel the man from the house. 4. When asked about this, the security reverses the role of victim and perpetrator and reacts in a misogynistic manner. Unfortunately, that really spoiled our evening. I hope the club retrains its security or reconsiders their suitability.

Top Club in Basel - not too big, but the more cosy. Great international electronic lineup! Very friendly security!!!

On April 15, 2023, Securitas treated me as if I was complete trash and didn't let me take part in the party. This without justification I don't recommend this place to anyone!!!

Interesting mix of people. Definitely quite young (18-22) and not necessarily there because of the music. Sound systems are average.

The music is good but nothing special, the prices are crazy over the top. It's just not worth it, for 4 vodka mate I paid 90 chf

Bought tickets for the DJ Nora en Pure, door opening was postponed from 11pm to 10pm. We arrived 11.15pm, were drinking, dancing and then we left 2.15am. Till then Nora en Pure was not comming. So, for a special event I would not trust the club anymore.

To be insulted by one of the club's Securitas is a damn shame. You ask something completely normal and get a cheeky answer back, unbelievable. “You should consume less” is exactly why you are there, to consume. Correct behavior should be taught again.

I Was bounced at an event due to age togheter with other people despite we bought the ticket online. No age limit was reported when we bought the tickets. Organizers did not even had the courage to show up and tell us straight. I don't like loosing my time.. ... Never ever again.

Nice people. Cool staff. Great sound system. Admission 25 - 35 Fr. Drinks prices are normal. Beer 7 Fr. Great selection of cocktails. Always top DJs at the start. Easily accessible from all directions by public transport. My favorite club in Basel ❤️

Actually a great club... but the New Year's Eve party was advertised as having a main focus on techno/electro... unfortunately there was 90's sound on the main floor and techno only on the mini floor... we felt a bit ripped off... entry fee was 35. The box office was full i.o....

The restaurant placed on the roof of the club for the winter. Ideal atmosphere for a raclette or fondue. The service is super friendly and not oppressive as is often the case in Basel.

The side dishes were very tasty. Dress warmly for this location... it was extremely cold, we ate the fondue that tasted burnt in our winter coats and with blankets over our legs and we were still cold. We had pre-ordered fondue and had to wait 50 minutes until we were served the fondue. The service was very friendly. Since there were also large tables with Christmas dinner guests, it was very loud.

Unfortunately, as a group of 6, we weren't happy with the Dandy pop-up and its fondue. The bread was very hard and you really couldn't eat half of it & the employees communicated incorrectly and advertised the starter and dessert as being included. In the end, however, everything was accounted for.

So without the Yanira it's just a quarter and a quarter as good. 😪

We were here for brunch. The food was very good and the service was very friendly. Liza in particular has an eye for detail and is just great. We'll definitely be back!

The burger was good but way too expensive for the size. The sweet potato fries were also good. However, when I wanted ketchup and mayo to go with the fries, the chef annoyed me. She didn't want to give me two bowls for the sauces because "she didn't feel like washing so many dishes" and so she only wanted to give me one sauce. I would have liked a boss to be more professional and customer-friendly.

I've only been on the roof so far, but I really liked it. Beautifully decorated, various seating options and a bar with drinks and small snacks are available. Of course, music is also played. It's always been very comfortable and the staff have always been very friendly. Only the prices are sometimes a bit astronomical, but unfortunately this is almost the norm in this business model. Very easy to reach, both on foot (if you live in the surrounding area) and by tram. However, you have to be a little creative with the car ^^

Very cheap how to take advantage of drunk guests. I was accused of behaving inappropriately and not paying for my drink which was 100% a lie. And I was then thrown out of the club. Do you really have to know that you will be treated like a normal guest? Bottom drawer is what I call something like that😤🤮🤮🤮

Basel is a very beautiful and interesting city that doesn't have to hide compared to other cities all over Europe. Basel and the region around Basel are always worth a nice trip!! There are many different ways to explore and explore the city. The many different cultures and religions here revitalize the quality of life and attractiveness here, and the various events in the city are also moving and mobilizing more and more people who live near Basel City to party and also the possibility of the many different restaurants and bars offering cool things for everyone

I visited the club on a techno night and was astonished. The people were extremely kind, not judging at all and the music was well chosen! I'll return, especially for the hotdog shop in the outside area! ;)

Five friends of mine stood in line at the Quarter Club around midnight and couldn't get in even though they had all already bought a ticket for 20 francs (Bravo Hits Party). There was a line of at least 80 people. It was cold, windy and raining.

Even with a ticket you had to wait in line for over an hour.

Nice snap club with good sound and interesting lighting system. Drinks are quite pricey but good service and nice overall vibes. Definitely worth a visit, despite being a bit from the city centre.

Despite having tickets and waiting for an hour in the cold rain, we couldn't get into the club. Even after pointing out the tickets or that the queue hadn't moved for an hour, nothing was changed or responded to. Big catastrophe and really a sign of a lack of organization .

It was our first time at this club and we were having a great evening until a young woman came near us who was visibly drunk/under the influence of drugs. It was clear that the young woman could no longer think or act clearly. My friends and I observed the situation for a while and noticed that several different men were approaching her and taking advantage of the situation. After a while I (female) couldn't watch anymore and took her out of the dance floor and asked her if she had any friends with her who could help her. She answered me: "I'm here with you". She was obviously traveling alone or couldn't remember who she was traveling with. I then spoke to one of the security personnel, asked for help and explained the situation. I clearly pointed out to him that several men had ignored or taken advantage of her condition. She could neither assess the situation nor defend herself. The security employee then had the young woman sit down and brought her a bottle of water. I assumed he would help her, that she would get home safely. I calmed down and went back to the dance floor. After about 10 minutes the young woman reappeared and the whole thing started again. One guy after the other came after her. I was just disgusted. I then went to another security guard and explained everything to him and he didn't seem to be surprised or that he knew the young woman. He assured me that she had a boyfriend, but he was abandoning her. He described the friend to me and told me there was nothing he could do about it. This made me incredibly angry!! Drunk men are thrown out immediately, but if a woman is visibly defenseless and out of her senses, she is ignored and left to her fate just because she has a shitty boyfriend who doesn't check on her?!?! I left the club with a very bad feeling... didn't know what else I should have done in this situation...

Brilliant club in Basel with a great outdoor terrace and a pleasant audience.

I don't find it understandable to wait in line for over 1.5 hours despite pre-sales. With a ticket at the box office you definitely got in quicker. In my opinion, the method of control and entry was also quite unstructured and arbitrary. The location itself is not bad. But if I have to stand in line for almost an hour to get my jacket when I leave, I'll have a rather negative memory of the whole thing...

Apparently the operators are so tight on cash that there is only enough for two employees in the cloakroom on a sold-out evening (Bravo Hits). We already know the long wait to go in, but I've never experienced waiting over an hour to get the jackets!

Very bad experience, was insulted very rudely, physically and verbally attacked as a non-Basel resident. Ultimately I was kicked out of the club because I tried to defend myself. Otherwise the club wasn't badly set up except for certain security personnel.

Tension After Party 31.7.21 💣💣💣💥💥💥😍😍😍

You pay 35 francs for a Tension Festival after party ticket, so you have to wait an hour in the rain to get in. Pretty bad organization. The club itself is quite good.

We traveled 650 kilometers for the Tension festival and the afterparty in the district. Apparently, too many visitors were admitted to the afterparty via the box office, so many ticket holders who had already paid for their tickets in advance were left standing in the pouring rain due to a door stop. We left the queue (like many other ticket holders here in the reviews) after 90 minutes without being allowed in. The organizer's denial that there was "never a door stop" shows that apparently none of those responsible were on site and communication between the venue and promoter did not work particularly well. We returned to the hotel at 2:45 a.m., soaked and without admission, and would have liked the organizer to be a little more accommodating (especially because of the long journey). To be fair, it should be added that due to the cooperation between Tension & Quarter it cannot be 100% clarified who is ultimately responsible for the frustration of the numerous visitors who received nothing in return despite purchasing a ticket. A refund of the ticket price would still have been the right (also legally correct) reaction from those responsible. A pity.
