Very...very...good and kind staff

We have been to MANU' more than once for our morning breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff, good desserts and fruit juices, for the coffee, obviously we are not in Naples. Like every day we also had the opportunity to taste the stuffed sandwiches, the ones with jabon crud were excellent. I advise.

I ordered a mango passion fruit cake, there was only passion fruit and inside only mousse like in the super sickening chocolate heads! Really on it!

Being able to work in Switzerland but having the friendliness and Portuguese pastry at your fingertips doesn't get any better.

Authentic Portuguese pastries. You don’t have to go to Portugal because everything is original here. The toast is my favourite and Portuguese croissants. They’re a bit sticky and sweeter than normal croissants. Their coffees are also good. Highly recommended!

I went there on a Sunday at 5 p.m., which means it was the only bakery open in the area. Staff not very competent but very good homemade products. Portuguese bakery, unless I'm mistaken. All the classics are also available there. Very fair prices. No gluten-free bread. Very well located.

Today was my first time at this lovely bakery, I ordered a box of "too good to go" here. I was so pleasantly surprised with the amount and the quality of the products! I immediately tasted a few things as soon as I left the store, it was delicious! The employees were very kind to me, and I will definitely come here again. Merci beaucoup!! :)

The food is good. Too bad, as this bakery also has a tea room, we favor customers who consume on site. When I asked for a croissant, I got a "is that all??" very disagreeable. And again when it's time to pay...something else?? We are definitely pushing for consumption. Not friendly. This morning as I'm in the neighborhood, I go to buy a buttery treat and a bottle of water. The person serving me doesn't speak French at all and needs help to serve me my order. His colleague offers to collect it for him given his difficulty which I understand very well and which I accept with a smile. No one checks the contents of the cone, asks me again if it's a buttery delicacy, I see her smile. I leave, I don't look at my delicacy, I start to eat and I realize that there is salami inside. I understand the smile at this moment, it's not serious, it's even very good. If the person was vegetarian or of a religion that did not allow this deviation, that would have posed another problem. So the staff who checked committed serious professional misconduct deliberately because they saw the fake goods. This is a huge lack of respect and makes fun of the customer. Ashamed

Normally it's zero stars but since we don't have the choice to give one star, first of all I would like to say that their welcome is very, very disappointing. A waitress received us with an arrogant and moving air!!!! I would like to point out that for the price of the cake we bought we did not have the flavor!!! in addition the waitress tried to deceive us on the price from 100 to 18 FOR EVER !!!!!

We are well received and it is very good to have breakfast or just drink coffee. Only the coffee area is a little small and you have to wait sometimes….but it’s worth the wait!! 👍

Every time I go to their house to drink coffee and eat a sandwich, they have the habit of cutting the sandwich in 2, without asking the customer, I buy it whole, and I like to eat it , in one piece.

The place is very nice and the food is good, but some of the regular waitresses are rude. You can see it on their face they don't like anyone who is not Portuguese

Everything they offer and simply delicious! The waitresses aren't super welcoming but it's still worth it for the taste! The tea room is nice, pleasant to sit there. I totally recommend!

Nice little Portuguese bakery. Not finding a place at the buffet of the nearby ibis hotel (disappointing otherwise) I looked for an alternative and came across it by chance. There are a few tables to sit inside, this morning the displays were overflowing with pastries and pastries which looked delicious. I stayed good and only had two pasteis de nata and a cappuccino. Delicious ! I'm going back tomorrow :-) the staff is also very friendly.

Been coming here for the past five years. It is one of the best places in Lausanne for fresh, non pretentious white bread (papo seco, baguettes, torsade, paillasse). But the croissants and pain au chocolat are very dry and tasteless, best to avoid them. Portuguese pâtisserie like pastei de natas and bolo de arroz, and sweet bread like palmieres and cornbread, are amazing. Probably a bit too sweet for the Swiss taste, but that's how they should be! The sandwiches are usually fresh and ok for their price. The coffee is truly terrible. Finally, it is sad to say but they can be quite rude with non Portuguese people. I've just learnt to ignore it.

They don't know what the welcome is like here, the staff are upset. If you want to pay to be mistreated this is the place.

The welcome is great and the pieces, cakes (most of them are Portuguese) etc. are very appetizing. I had an Oreo pie there for my daughter's party, I'm looking forward to tasting it. I would definitely go back. It's clean and neat. My daughter's birthday cake was famous. They know how to highlight the strawberries too. I had a wonderful lemon cheesecake, too. Yum! What mastery... Maximum respect.

Not welcoming at all... I went there regularly because I had no choice, but since I was sold an uncooked king's crown, without a crown or bean, there's no way I'm going back there.

They sell kings' crowns without beans or crowns and not cooked.

I have lived on this street for 6 years and frequent this place. 6 long years where I turned a blind eye to the quality of service, let me explain. There has not been a time when I have not waited between 2 and 5 minutes at the counter alone, either the waitress is chatting with her colleague or she is preparing packages for the pastries. No matter the waitress, she introduces herself to you without apology, and without even saying hello, almost every time. At this stage a smile wouldn't hurt, but that's also not in the house's criteria. 6 years that I frequent this place on a regular basis (1 to 2x per week min.) never has the house made a commercial gesture, a free coffee, a free croissant, even I don't ask for that much but just a smile sometimes to forgive their attitude. But no, sometimes they even prefer to raise their voice when you are drinking coffee on the terrace so that you pay more quickly... 6 years that I take upon myself every time I go there for the one and only reason because the bread and pastries are very good and I really enjoy eating their products, but now I say stop, it There are other bakeries in the city. It is sad to note the sectarian Portuguese aspect, because if you are from the country the quality of service as well as the attitude of the staff is very different, as proof I can cite the comments above which are explicit. Once again I think that the bakery has lost a customer, it's a shame that the boss is not doing anything, with more friendly staff I am convinced that its turnover would be much better.

Very good Portuguese Bakery and Pastry

Quality of food good... But very disappointing service... We come to collect salads/sandwiches for 60 francs and we are greeted coldly. Moreover, these ladies are not commercial at all: they charge us 10 centimes per bag to take our order and 1 franc (!) for a small cup of extra salad dressing! Their competitor further down the same street does not practice this way. We tried and we won't go back, thank you ladies for this experience!
