In my opinion the best Chinese restaurant in Basel. My La Zi Ji tasted very good and was a large portion. My wish for Chinese spiciness was thankfully fulfilled. The price of CHF 30.90 is reasonable, but I can only afford it with an Uber Eats voucher. Friendly staff.

Ordered dinner from here and was very disappointed. We ordered chicken gongbao and duck chop suey which was prepared with salad, soy beans and onions - it was advertised as prepared with fried seasonal vegetables. It didn't taste good so we will never prder here again.

We were in this restaurant for the first time today and we loved it. I haven't had such authentic Chinese food in a long time. Chinese people also visit this restaurant. The boss was alone on a Sunday evening and was always friendly and well-positioned despite the great stress. We'd love to come back!

My first visit to a Chinese restaurant in Basel, the food was good, we had the Green onion pancakes it was good, had a cucumber salad that had a great subtle heat build up, the pot stickers were good. Had their Yu Xiang Shredded pork (egg plant / Aubergine with shredded pork), Gong Bao chicken and onion beef. The protion were large and flavours were pretty authentic. I would recommend if you want Chinese food in Basel.

Went there for dinner with a friend today, the restaurant is very, very nice. A really nicely designed restaurant. The service was very nice. I really enjoyed the food and I'll definitely be back. Price-performance ratio fits. The only criticism I have is that my girlfriend got her food about 20 minutes before my meal. But it is really recommended... Great Chinese restaurant 💗 Thank you. Very good traditional Chinese restaurant . Tasty and fresh. It’s a bit at the periphery next to Novartis but authentic Chinese food is rather rare in Basel so don’t miss it. Prices are reasonable and the lady Owner most friendly. Quiet back garden in summer

Super delicious food, also super friendly and responsive to requests... In my opinion the best Chinese restaurant in Basel! The duck is tasty, the rice and the noodle are excellent! If you don't want to cross the border to eat good Chinese, it's the best choice in all of Basel!

The restaurant is not very impressive from the outside, but it is spacious and bright inside. The lady boss is very nice and the food is served quickly. We ordered three or four dishes. First of all, the pot stickers are said to be their own handmade dumplings. Apart from being a bit small in size, the taste is still passable. The ants climbing the tree were a little disappointing. They were more like vermicelli boiled in bean paste and oyster sauce. The minced meat was pitiful as shown in the picture. It could have been more generous. After all, 18 Swiss francs for a plate of fried vermicelli is a bit expensive! What’s more amazing is the sweet and sour pork ribs, which are very tender and the sauce is sweet and sour. However, the spareribs used are not short ribs ~ Since this is a new store, I will give it a friendly five-star rating and hope they get better and better!

A warm restaurant! The restaurant looks a little inconspicuous from the outside, but it's worth a visit. The restaurant owner is extremely friendly and very accommodating. She regularly inquires about the well-being of the guests and is happy to accommodate any requests. The food is wonderful! My favorite: Tofu Szechuan Style. They also have a small, beautiful courtyard. I've been there a few times and recommend the restaurant to friends and family.

Delicious food🤌 we loved the fried noodle and spicy beef; definitely, a must-try! Their courtyard was also cosy and silent. Finally, the staff was so friendly and offered us candy on our way out.

Just ordered for delivery and the food is just so bad. Mapo tofu is just spicy, not a balanced flavor of dish. The sweet and sour chicken especially seems to have been fried so long ago and reheated, the batter is just a spongey mush. We will never order again.

The best food I've had in Switzerland. The chef is a handsome younger brother, and the older sister works in a restaurant. She is very simple and considerate, not the shrewd kind. We were very satisfied with the dishes we ordered. The chicken soup and chrysanthemum tea were both delicious. Twice-cooked pork and stir-fried green beans are highly recommended!

The ribs, try the ribs! I've got the recommendation from a friend who grew up on this kind of food. He said it's the real deal. And I agree with him. The service is excellent. Always asking us how we liked it and recommending things for the next time. We were also offered to have some samples. Make sure to pay a visit if in Basel and into genuine Chinese cuisine.

We did not visit but ordered via UberEats - finally a Chinese restaurant in Basel that actually lives up to its name! Do yourself a favour and have the scallion pancake. We also loved the crispy beef and duck with pancakes.

We had to wait 1.5 hours even though the restaurant was 4 minutes away. In addition, the food was not good, it was swimming in oil and was very bland, the crispy duck was anything but crispy. I can't recommend it at all

Very tasty and authentic Chinese food.

The restaurant just opened beginning of November 2021 and soon became one of our favorite places. The food was always delicious and the service exceptionally friendly. Orders are processed very quickly and the owners take their time explaining the origin of the dish and additional background information. I also find the interaction during the ordering process quite unique and the suggestions of the owner usually meets the taste. During the opening weeks they were offering delicious snacks for free that one surely is going to order in the future again. That little corner at Elsässerstrasse always appeared to be a tough place for restaurants in the recent past. I really hope these lovely new owners will get the success that they deserve. All the best for the future!
