Pizza was mushy with sweet, cheap tomato sauce and rubber cheese, steak was charged for the more expensive one and was supposedly served with poor quality (had massive stomach cramps afterwards), side dish was charged extra and even the ketchup with the fries was charged and the Sprite ordered was not original and was diluted with water. There were also fruit flies flying around the food. Absolutely not recommended. Never again.

For the other 2 pizzas, we ordered twice the same pizza which is noted in their menu as their novelty and the most expensive pizza on their menu with raw ham, buffala, arugula and parmesan. We receive 2 pizzas missing the parmesan and arugula and the waitress tells us that it is the right pizza. We explain that there are missing items. After discussion with the cook he said that they have no Arugula and no Parmesan. The waitress tells us that if we want to eat this pizza we will not get any discount despite the fact that 2 main elements are missing. After a few minutes another waiter arrives with parmesan on a plate which he pours haphazardly on my pizza at the table. And another 5 minutes later they arrive with another plate of Arugula which they place on the table. So despite what they said, they had all the elements. They just seemed like they didn't know anything and didn't know how to make their pizzas. At 27.50 chf per pizza it's very expensive to make it yourself. And the waitress was really rude.

After having enjoyed staying at Choucas for many years, we have been increasingly disappointed over the last three years. I'm not a fan of negative reviews, but today's attempt at collection has finally surpassed everything. Two pizzas and two lasagne. Pizza's dough is pale and the simple Margherita is completely covered with a cheese flatbread. Both lasagne were cold, extremely dry, the top layer was black and very hard, so simply inedible. There's a budget item from Migros that you heat yourself in the oven and it's worlds better (and just as cheap). In addition, the goods were handed to us 10 minutes before the pickup time, we can't imagine how the lasagne would have arrived 10 minutes later. It's a shame, but obviously they're still just resting on the success of the past few years and have no claim to being even remotely on a par with the excellent competition.
